  1. Especially from the party that lectures hollywood and athletes to "stick to acting" or "stick to sports". For all of the handwringing from the right about celebrities needing to keep their mouths shut, it's humorous that Fabio, Scott Baio, Dennis Miller, Rosanne, etc. are often on Fox. Are there any recurring celebrity appearances on CNN, etc.?
  2. Trump Jr.: "Dad, that Mueller guy is here, should I say hi to him or no.. /whispering (hand over mouth)/.. he looks really mean dad, for real. /normal voice again/ Also, dad, when can I use our plane again, I said I was super sorry about tweeting out those emails about colludin......oops, haha, I mean meeting with those Russian people"
  3. Trump is like Eric Spoelstra taking credit for all of the success of the 2012 Heat team.

Below expectations, ouch. Not even close to Obama's best quarter (5.2%). That's got to sting Trump.
  7. If he truly believes it's an imminent possibility, he would show his hand in order to drum up criticism (from both sides of the aisle) to detract Trump from doing something stupid.
  8. My distinguished ex-congressman. I've had the pleasure of meeting Farenthold at a handful of social events in Corpus, he is not the sharpest tool in the shed.
  9. Now but now a white president is doing it, so it's legit.
  10. I agree. Just day dreaming about a better country.
  11. That is a good start. I'd love it if he could keep them all that positive. Let Cruz throw the mud, people are fucking tired of mud-slinging.
  12. Social Security card will suffice, also will need banking info and credit card numbers in order to verify SS# is correct, new procedure in 2018. On a side note, I'll be hosing a Surly happy hour at Treasures if anybody would like to join. Clob9 I'll be covering the tab.
  13. Mr. Clob, I'm actually going to need to see your government issued ID in order for you to exercise your constitutional right to express your opinion.
  14. Corker just brought the heat. Wow.
  15. He's already got his costume all picked out and ready to go.
  16. Ohh I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that he hasn't read a page of that book. I think the last thing Trump has read in a long time was his prepared statement that he believes our IC, which he stumbled through and contradicted within hours.
  17. This all started because Trump was mad at China for subsidizing their steel industry. I guess if you can't beat em' join em'. The United States of China, bought to you by Donald Trump.
  18. Trump just axed the penalty. So young/healthy people will now be dropping out of the market in droves, driving premiums and deductibles even higher. Trump's plan is to make it so expensive that consumers will lose their sympathy for those with pre-existing conditions, and ACA will be axed completely.
  19. Great video on Pornhub, highly recommend it.
  20. I'm sure you have the same reservations for the large segment of our great State's population who are more proud to be Texans than Americans.
  21. Well I know whose NOT directing Guardian of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
  22. It's not that Americans are being distracted away from campaign finance or our ballooning deficit/debt, it's just that nobody seems to care about it.
  23. Or, hear me out here, we penalize healthy people who choose not to buy insurance as an incentive to keep them in the pool. Also, going back to pre-ACA and denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage doesn't magically solve the problem, those sick people who will no longer have coverage are still going to go to the emergency room and get treated, they will just be stuck with the 6 figure bill that they will not be able to pay. Who do you think eats those costs when that happens? Why do you think hospitals charge $10 for a cough drop? The larger question is, should insurance companies bear those costs or the consumers?
