Can’t wait for ump scorecard to come out, zero chance it was anything less than +1.2 runs for Houston. Ump had it out for us tonight big time. Oh well. Lineups were a wash, you had minor leaguers and we had Gallo, who doesn’t belong in any form of professional baseball and is probably worth -5 runs a game by himself somehow. The entire fanbase hates him so fucking much.

    Whatever. Fuck houston.

    Sucks to suck

Whatever. I’ll be back tonight to laugh in all your faces after clay holmes slams the door. Not worth my time to spend all day in here.

john holmes has a better chance than clay

  3. nice, i was at fat cat on monday and saw a lot of things in the storefronts that looked like they were actually thinking about maybe, possibly opening soon. i thought rooster and rice was actually opened since people were in/out and had food listings on their screens but think they're still getting set up. looking forward to upside pub and the upgrade that was the abomination of tres amigos, just turrible. i liked shepherd park draught house.

stomping grounds is gonna be a nice addition once it's finally finished

i was watching a porn video the other day and it started with 3 whores driving to a marina in miami and filming themselves just shooting the shit...they park and start walking to the boat ramp and see the boat and one of them goes 'are you fucking kidding me? it's so small'...then proceeds to hop onto what basically looks like a boat for wakeboarding and gets railed in the bay while her friends watch.

i'm guessing the 'director' oversold the size of the boat quite a bit. probably even called it a yacht.

    link?

  5. Columbus Day 2015:

    1. Astros playing the Royals in the ALDS, end up blowing a 6-2 lead in the top of 8th in Houston, eventually lose series.

    2. Come home after watching the game, my house has been broken into and robbed of all my wife's jewelery and assorted smaller items they can steal (my college ring also stolen).

    3. Find out when the police come over that one of our dogs got out, likely during the robbery and ran away.

    What a shitty fucking day.

Eventually, filed insurance claim replaced some items but wife didn't want to get much of her jewelry replaced.  A good Samaritan found and rescued our dog and we got him back through random Facebook posts, an internet sleuth whose hobbies include trying to find missing dogs for owners trying to locate them helped us out.

And the Astros won the WS in 2017.

    Congratulations  !

He is well beyond his years with the swing/mechanics at the plate.    Who is his favorite MLB player ?   🙂

Thanks! We certainly work at it quite a bit, just hoping he continues to play and enjoy putting the work in.

His favorite player is Alex Bregman but likes to model his swing after Bryce Harper's. He throws right but I made him hit from the left side.

  7. My turn.

I haven't posted on here in a while, I usually post on my social media feeds but wanted to jump in here since you guys do a great job with your sons and teams. We finished our regular season over the weekend at Oaks Dad's Club in Houston, our last year of coach pitch. I was the head coach for my son's team, really since he's started playing, and it's been an absolute joy thus far. We went undefeated over the season, finishing 10-0 in the regular season and then sweeping through the playoffs going 4-0, to bring us to 14-0. I know it's all subjective but there is some really good talent in our division and league, in general. Some videos of my son's ABs over the weekend I thought I would share. He was one of the best players out there but really turned in on in the playoffs. In 4 games he went:

    13-13

    3 1Bs

    6 2Bs

    1 3B

3 HRs (all over the fence). It was amazing to see his teammates and families rally behind him and all the little kiddos on the team, as a coach I hope I can show them how to play baseball and enjoy it so they want to come back the next year. It's something that I don't take for granted, I know you guys who coach and work with your kids probably feel the same way. Anyway, hats off to all the boys and dads and families playing baseball - it's the best fucking sport in the world.
