  1. Ouch. Great job all season and then those last two possessions were just terrible.
  2. Is this where Charles Koch falls out of a window?
  3. Correct, the way to combat the mistaken belief that Democrats drifted left is to point out the truth, not concede the point. Conceding the point is how we got here. The 2025 Democratic Party is way right of the 1980s Democratic Party. It only seems like it moved left because the Republicans have moved way way way way right. So the general public (read: simpletons) is easily fooled into believing the lie. The greatest economic engine in history, the USA from 1946-1973, had higher corporate taxes, huge government investment/spending, and occurred at the same time as an explosion of liberal social policies. The only people who benefit from our recent hard rightward lurch are the richest of the rich. The greatest period of any society in history, where the entire nation benefited, was based on far more government involvement.
  4. This post just shows how lost you are. You are the one trying to regulate and modify people's posting. I wouldn't ban anyone, but I also wouldn't chastise people for telling fools that they're fools which is what you're doing. Again, they have to be willing to accept that they were conned. Telling them they're doing a great job is counterproductive in the long run. If they don't understand how they were tricked it will just happen again, and it will happen very soon. If they can't stand the discomfort of being told they were and still are being conned then they don't actually care enough to change. And anyone who thinks the Democratic Party has drifted left is still completely lost.
  5. I explained it if he wants to learn. If he doesn't then why would I waste more time? His statement that the Democratic Party has drifted too far left is a fundamental reason we are where we are. Until he understands how wrong that is it's pointless to engage any more than the minimal effort I gave. And nobody fucks this board up more than you so you can miss me with that.
  6. Wrong. They need to understand WHY they were wrong or it will just happen again.
  7. I'm sorry that you didn't find the echo chamber you were looking for. The one where everyone tells you that you were right and it's not your fault. Guess what? It is your fault. When you're ready to accept that you've been conned and are a huge sucker you will finally have a shot at helping to fix things. Until then you will continue to lash out when the people who were smart enough not to be fooled point out that you weren't.
  8. No. The goal isn't to change Trump's mind. That's not possible.
  9. Uh yeah, that's the problem. He acknowledges that he's "like most normal people" which, if he were smart, would make him realize that he completely bought the total horseshit he's been fed for the last couple of decades. He actually thinks the Democratic Party has drifted left. He realizes the country is in crisis because the Republican Party is composed of maniacs and morons and is in complete control of the Federal Government but still can't let go of the completely absurd premise that it's also the Democrats' fault. He is exactly why we're fucked and will continue to be fucked.
  10. Lol The Democratic Party hasn't leaned left in a very long time, but congratulations on eating the bullshit you've been shoveled.
  11. Damn i missed this. Being shit talkers is fun when you're 29-2 right up until you get your asses swept.
  12. That was ballgame if the bunt was executed
  13. Wow that pitch was thrown right at his bat and he still screwed up the bunt
  14. Same as usual, StassneyHorn thinks he's clever.
  15. Yeah those were two completely awful plate appearances.
  16. Has anyone noticed how fucking stupid Donald Trump is?
  17. Tech's will certainly be forgotten after tonight.
  18. Don't confuse process and results. It wasn't the right decision but they won.
  19. Hell yes. Somehow universally recognized as an all time great but still underrated.
  20. Wait, did somebody actually publish that a 10-0 run is good? Hahaha
  21. Wondering if he'll be there Monday.
  22. They absolutely should. We are totally throwing away our global position and all the sycophants in the administration think the rest of the world is as gutless as they are.
  23. Coach from the same conference ha. You mean that guy who went from little ol' TCU and quickly took a massively underachieving program to the top echelon of the SEC? It's just baseball. It's not some mythical higher plane of being. The SEC these days is just baseball with good players. A coach is a coach. It is completely irrelevant that he came from the SEC.
  24. Both. For example in basketball the SEC has been garbage for decades but was great this season and everyone in the media acted like it's always been this way. Same in baseball. The SEC is now the best conference but for decades the west coast leagues were the best.
