It was almost like Colt couldn't throw a bad ball and Ship and Quan couldn't drop a pass that season..

Of course it wasn't all sunshine, and Colt nearly got killed in the CCG, then in Pasadena he did..

Colt didn't play in the CCG nor in Pasadena that season. Why are multiple people remembering season years wrong around here? Am I taking crazy pills?

  2. Not a legal expert (obviously) but the concerns upthread about the jury having Trumpkins or Trump-haters is why I think he'll be guilty on some counts and not guilty on others. With the verdict on each count having to be unanimous that leads to a bargaining situation in the jury deliberation, I would think. I see almost no way he's guilty on everything or not guilty on everything.

So 2030 is too soon? What about 2130? Should they still be paying for it then?

The victims and all the Penn State employees who benefited from and protected those horrific activities should all be dead by 2130 so I'll allow that matchup to be scheduled.

You try way too fucking hard to be a contrarian sometimes and end up just being foolish.

This is not the farthest or hardest home run ever hit. But I believe that it is the home run most murdered relative to the player's ability. I don't think it's possible for George Springer to hit a baseball harder than that. Pissed off at the misplay in centerfield, 95mph fastball belt high and just on the inner half, unloaded with everything he had, and just the sound the contact made told you it was gone. Ball hadn't even cleared the infield and there was a fist in the air from this young lady (this post is also doubling as an imgur test):

No...Cruz is a dependable conservative vote in the US Senate.

I don't always agree with Cruz...but I know the last thing DC needs is another fraudulent leftist.

To all my little leftist buddies here, like Huckleberry, who love to 'neg' my posts...please know that a single fuck is given.

    I'm not a leftist. And you're not a poster.

After he was hired at Texas, Herman approached several members of the Ohio State staff he had relationships with.  I was informed at the time by people who would know that Smith was included in this group.  In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have posted anything since I can't support my post by disclosing the sources of the information.

In any event, take it or leave it as you see fit.

But approaching several guys on an old staff to test the waters is a lot different than "he tried to hire him and Smith turned him down" as it was originally phrased. You have to admit that much, as SizzleChest pointed out.

  7. Aside from what maninblack pointed out, which is bad enough, alincoln's current status shows the potential impact of one bad post as 57 of his neg rep points came from the one post on this thread where he said Herman tried to hire Zack Smith. I certainly never heard about an attempt to hire Smith, and others called it a lie and it went from there.

It's possible that's all that Sydney knows about him and that's what caused the tirade. It's also true that alincoln never came back to own up to his huge mistake on this thread and so he's pretty close to the crowdsource banhammer. He's a decent poster so I hope he isn't banned but I'd also like an explanation of that Smith/Herman post or at least a mea culpa if he realizes he made a mistake.

Agreed. He drifts into un-american xenophobia and anti-west racial prejudice, his takes are light, hot garbage, he posts twitter hoaxes, and he's got even less understanding about the nexus of policy and economics than @slorch without the empathy and amusing wit, but he's within the rules.

No, all rep in the Politics forum is bullshit. If we're going to have rep in here, then a few brave warriors will make sure it's not just a circle jerk of pos rep inflation.

  9. So back on Page 2 a guy says his German grandfather sees ANTIFA and thinks they're just like the Nazis of his youth... You guys will be SHOCKED to learn that he's lying and the grandfather doesn't exist. Read the Twitter thread, it's hilarious.

Can you imagine being dumb enough to believe that tweet and run over here to post it? XR4ticlone can.
