  1. Rhule is overrated. He might have a really good team every 4 years with a senior laden roster. But I still haven't seen anything to demonstrate he can have a championship contending P4 team year after year.
  2. Hahaha Venables just got himself fired with that fake call
  3. In their last 4 quarters of football OU has been outscored 55-0
  4. Klubnik just threw one of the worst picks you'll ever see.
  5. He has only thrown a small number of them and there have been good but mixed results. It's just a crazy statement. Just looking at the MSU game because there are the most examples, the first semi-deep sideline throw to Moore that went out at the 1, that's a TD if he puts it on more of a line. Moore was absolutely wide open for a TD but he put way too much air under it. That's usually good on a deep ball but it shows his inexperience because he didn't adjust to the situation. Cook's drop was a very good throw, only a yard or two underthrown on a 45 yard throw so that's still a very good one. Cook dropped it because he couldn't keep his eyes on it as he chopped his last few steps to adjust to the slight underthrow. I am absolutely not saying that drop was Manning's fault because any FBS receiver still has to catch that. But having receivers that aren't great will come up later in this post. But for most receivers instead of a touchdown that becomes a long gain if they slow down well to secure the catch. First half TD to Moore - This was a great throw because he was under pressure and about to take a hit, however this ball missed its target by 5 yards but Moore did an outstanding job adjusting to the throw. Moore was running a streak and when Manning released it he was running straight downfield 2-3 yards inside the numbers. He caught it on the run 2-3 yards outside the numbers. This one is a classic example of a play where the receiver determines what fans think of the QB's deep ball. Early in his career Xavier Worth absolutely would have missed this ball by 2 yards and everyone would have complained about freshman Ewers' bad deep ball because he threw it too far outside. This is a great play and a pretty good deep ball, but Ewers made several deep throws that were exactly the same that Worthy made look bad. 2nd TD to Moore was his best deep throw of the game. That was well placed, well timed, and pretty much perfect. So he had one bad deep throw, one very good, one off target but great play because he was under pressure, and one perfect deep ball. He is very good but saying he's the best ever at Texas after this small sample size is silly. And yes, VY was absolutely better at deep balls his junior year than Manning is right now. Manning very well could, I might say probably will, end up better before he leaves. But he's not right now, and failing to consider that VY's "deep threat" wide receiver was Billy Pittman and his 4.76 forty yard dash is a pretty big issue when it comes to this analysis. Manning is absolutely elite at intermediate balls in the 15-20 yard range especially in the middle of the field. He is a plus deep ball thrower. He is bad at timing routes to the flats (swing passes, bubble screens, etc.). That's all I'm saying. He is obviously an elite prospect who will be a great player here. All I laughed at was the prematurity of that declaration.
  6. Democrat aligned social media people should be creating fake MAGA accounts and replying in agreement, and adding "if you go to vote in person for Trump it will count it as a Kamala vote!"
  7. Lol Jesus fucking Christ
  8. You have to win before you can fix the system.
  9. WTF? Have you, I don't know, listened to him talk in the last 2 months? He's old, of course he's losing mental sharpness. He's getting worse every day (like the vast majority of 78-year-olds) and it's been a noticeable pace the last 2 months. That age plus the stress of the campaign combined.
  10. To me this gif is about more than Trump's complete idiocy. This gif shows how utterly and completely the press has failed to convey to the American people exactly how incompetent, insane, idiotic, and idealess Trump is. These women are listening to his inane ramblings for the first time. And the reason it's the first time is because the press has failed to cover it sufficiently. These are citizens who care enough about what's going on to show up to this event. They are easily reachable by a competent press corps.
  11. If people would stick to values and principles instead of a party then "going back Republican" shouldn't even be an idea in anyone's head. If something really weird happens and Democrats become the insane shitheads and Republicans become the party actually trying to be sane and govern then I'd have no issue voting for them.
  12. I was going to say, all that post tells me is that Helobious is now an old. None of those guys are mainstream rappers. Snoop is famous for being himself, Ice Cube is an actor you see sometimes, and Kanye is that crazy guy who married Kim Kardashian and interrupted Taylor Swift. This isn't 2006.
  13. Yeah you have to undo the other stuff and the recruiting points being spent for the player that is displayed on the player screen doesn't update right sometimes until you exit out of recruiting and go back in. One of a hundred bugs. This open world stuff would be enough to keep me from buying it.
  14. 2:16 Whiff and fall on Wisner run/fumble/TD (2:29 replay) 2:56 Whiff but not on ground on Wisner's TD run 3:22 Whiff to ground on Wingo 3:30 Bowman and Stutsman get to watch Helm make a great catch 3:36 goes to ground instead of taking on Moore's block like a football player, Ewers scores
  15. No but maybe if you squint hard enough. But no.
  16. My immediate thought as well. I'm not sure ol' Francisco's parents were as wholesome as he thinks. Good for them.
  17. That's my whole point. Those polling results may very well be garbage.
  18. Problem there is you just made RFK, Jr. a billionaire.
  19. Understood, I just think it's likelier as an explanation. As you point out the state versus national polls don't make sense. I'm just saying that the whole blue states getting redder theory might be the thing that's wrong once votes are counted. People are migrating to where they agree with the politics, not away from those places.
  20. I agree they feel a bit strange but it's entirely believable that after 8 years of Trump we are going to see Harris wipe the floor with him even more than usual in California, New York, and other deep blue states.
  21. I don't disagree with any of that, but if you are intending to vote to hurt my family I have no obligation to continue being your friend. Especially if it's already been explained and you've made your choice. In that situation I'm not the one who terminated the friendship.
  22. See the thing is that most fans want fun football games to watch. People like you who only care about how much money college athletics administrators, TV executives, and advertising agencies can make from a matchup are the weird ones.
  23. Supporting and voting for Donald Trump literally endangers many of my friends and even some family. It's not political tribalism to cut ties with someone who will vote to have my friends and family attacked and potentially deported.
  24. That's even dumber. Having 12 men on the field and not getting called for it is always better than getting called for it. He said late.
