  1. Yeah, their schedule has lots of winnable games, of course, because of their joke of a non-conference slate. But then again they lost to Appalachian State with the mercenary talent on the roster, they've lost a bunch of talented players whatever you think of their production, and their new offensive coordinator comes from a system that specializes in playing close games against tough teams but also close games against shitty teams. Not to mention the system using the QB like a battering ram with a QB who's had injury and concussion issues. Should be interesting.
  2. Oh, I do read it. Which is why it's repetitive when it's elsewhere. It's not that you're wrong, because you're not, it's that you need a managing partner to keep you focused and on topic.
  3. Jesus Christ there is a thread for your fantasy college sports subscription website managing partner spiels.
  4. Posted from the shower by @texifornia. That's dedication.
  5. Sweet. Now updating player threads is your job. You tagged yourself in.
  6. "SEC meat grinder" (eyeroll gif goes here) doesn't really apply when your major issue is that you can't consistently get your hands on anyone in pass protection. His run blocking (yar SEC trenches so strong yar) was better than his pass blocking. Not to mention their SEC schedule wasn't actually that hard. It was pretty much as tough as a .500 Big 12 team faced in conference this year. The point that Bisontis was thrown into a tough spot is accurate. But this SEC bullshit is already pervasive around here.
  7. I think you're overthinking an A&M grad named Dustin who learned a new word from his toilet paper roll the morning he registered for Texags.
  8. Well I guess you can say he's organized if he waited until his hype video was done before entering the portal.
  9. He was very good but also very overrated. The media was in love with Stoops at the time (for pretty good reason shortly after the 2000 title) and bought everything he said without hesitation. During the first half of his college debut at Air Force the announcers were telling the audience to watch Harris because he was one of the best defensive linemen in the country even though he was a true freshman. They had no way of knowing something like that other than hype from the Oklahoma staff. In Harris's defense he did back that up with good play unlike other more mediocre players that got the same premature hype like Teddy Lehman. But he was definitely overrated especially when you consider he played in the Big 12 right after Casey Hampton who was actually as good as Harris was hyped to be. Being overrated doesn't necessarily mean you suck.
  10. 1. I'm not your bro, buddy. 2. I didn't even say Brown was a better prospect than Harris, only that he is not similar in playing style and is clearly stronger in high school than Harris was. 3. *brakes p.s. Tommie Harris was overrated as a prospect and player, so you can argue that part now that I've said it
  11. Well he was #1 in that one service maybe. He was #2 in the 247 composite behind Ewers. But given that Ewers was one of the only 1.000 players ever I don't think Foreman was actually #1 anywhere, or at least in any major service's rankings.
  12. Listed as 6'4" 265 in high school, 6'4" 235 now and it tracks from pictures at least on his 247 profile pages. https://247sports.com/Player/korey-foreman-46056100/high-school-218228/ https://247sports.com/Player/korey-foreman-46056100/college-268970/ I didn't watch much USC defense this year (neither did their fans) but his stats say he basically didn't play. Definite Texas A&M target.
  13. I mean that's pretty fucking slick by him to just commit and get the offer next. I'm going to tell my son to fax in a letter of intent to Texas in a couple of years.
  14. So I totally missed the Adonai "The Panther" Mitchell and Keilan "The Motorcycle" Robinson nicknames until now. Awesome.
  15. I'm not really a film junkie, so the only comparison I can make is a hypothetical one. He looks like what I imagine the real life version of the story @closetojumping tells of his high school buddy going up against Casey Hampton must have looked like. Although he's not on that level of strength, of course.
  16. Just saying that Harris was a combination of good strength and elite quickness for an interior DL. He did not have nearly the strength that Brown shows in his film, although to be fair I watched Harris in a full game so maybe Brown's highlights are overstating his strength. I watched a mediocre Georgetown team completely neutralize Harris (although admittedly with double teams). Brown is throwing guys the same size Georgetown had around like rag dolls in that film. But as I said it was a full game for Harris and only one. If you only watched the game I watched you would have thought Harris was a much better TE prospect when you left.
  17. Gonna have to disagree with Gerry's take on Brown. I watched Harris in high school and that does not look like a similar player to Harris at all.
  18. Alabama, Georgia, Florida. Our next 2025 commit must be coming from The Bahamas.
  19. Dammit I know it's Arrested Development. I'll take the L there.
