  1. That on average by year 4 even most second round draft picks are cut by the team that drafted them. 62% don't see the end of their rookie deal. People have too high of expectations for a lot of these guys.
  2. Yeah i'm sure you actually follow X and CHU on a regular basis and it has nothing to do with you cheer leading doom and gloom over politics. Get fucked bot boy Oh and here is some context. (X) (CHU)
  3. If the market was actually concerned with tariffs, the bond market would be getting hit.
  4. Again.. the numbers are not telling the same story. https://www.milehighreport.com/2014/5/13/5713996/how-long-does-the-average-draft-pick-stick-around Round Year 1 Year 2 Year 3 Year 4 Year 5 1 99.7% 93.5% 83.9% 77.4% 71.0% 2 96.8% 96.1% 83.9% 74.2% 41.9% 3 96.9% 75.1% 62.5% 37.5% 18.8% 4 91.4% 74.3% 54.3% 34.3% 17.2% 5 81.1% 56.8% 37.8% 24.3% 16.2% 6 70.2% 57.5% 35.3% 20.9% 10.6% 7 58.3% 45.8% 31.3% 21.7% 16.7% By year 4.. 62.5% of 3rd round picks are no longer with the team that drafted them. That's just players that didn't end up getting cut before the end of their rookie deal. By year 5, 58% of second round picks have ended up on other teams. This isn't even getting into the quality of those players that managed to stick around. ------- I think the real problem here is that the expectations that every pick ends up being a probowler/starter are completely unrealistic.
  5. She's the left's Glenn Beck.

    Gun Control

    Explains so much...
  7. After June it's not that bad. Mainly they need to get him out there so you don't have him stop the progress of guys who can actually rush the passer. He was a viable 3 tech candidate but with Irving and Collins, we are covered for WAY less. Ealy was leading the league in batted passes on the shitty Jets team through November. I really think he's got potential to get coached up.

    Gun Control

Most people buy the .223 Remington for their ARs because the ammo is so cheap.

  11. bi-curious then.. not that there's anything wrong with that...
  12. Now you can afford to cut Crawford.
  13. Same guy who drafted Prescott also drafted Chaz Green. Guys taken in the later rounds usually don't workout. That's not a problem unique to Dallas.
  14. Yep. a new list shouldn't do anything different.
  15. Guerrilla warfare and IEDs have caused out "modern military" plenty of casualties. Our weapons aren't as good when we have to worry about collateral damage.
  16. The only thing a list should provide is whether or not they can pass a background check or not. It shouldn't provide details of whether or not a gun was purchased and shouldn't be used for that. Just should be basic checkbox criteria. True/False. If convicted of a felony, your name pops up on a list of convicted felons that can't legally own a weapon. That should be it.
  17. Ideally, we need to get data on a nation's rapes per capita before banning firearms and after. Then also get data from other nations and compare it.
  18. It's more of an efficiency/incompetence issue than a legislative one.
  19. I don't think you can legislate all violence away. I completely agree with the gun free zone creating a soft target.
  20. Not in disagreement with you but if the CHL isn't revoked after someone has been convicted of a felony, that's a pretty big deal. I would classify that as an actual loophole. If something happens to make it so someone would no longer pass a background check, somehow the retailer needs to know.
  21. So you are bi?
  22. The FBI has really dropped the ball recently on a few of these high profile shootings so reforming it's role might be a good starting point. Having the license linked to a main database might be able to fix that problem. That way it's something more than a piece of paper. Figuring out the logistics so that the database is always updated would be challenging.
  23. We already have licensing for "certain classes of weapons". You can own a fully automatic weapon right now, you just have to register it with the ATF and pay ~$200 for the stamp. There just isn't that much demand for them so it's not really commercially viable to sell them like you would with a regular gun. I don't agree on the CCL classes and I'll tell you why. Those courses covers basic gun safety. The CCL classes make sure that people who are complete novices don't hurt themselves and others because they don't know what they are doing. Having to sit through a video presentation and spending a few minutes with an instructor isn't going to weed out crazy motherfuckers who intend to use that weapon to cause harm. Even the crazies can put on a good show and place nice for 30 minutes to an hour.
