  1. He worked extremely hard to land Devin Price. He showed Devin the power of Aggie Network, and the opportunity available at the state's premier and only SEC program. It was a bit of hard sell, but it worked, obviously.
  2. good political book reference there. pos rep.
  3. a jew taking the lord's name in vain? jesus h. christ!
  4. tbh, especially with the "top" he is wearing and his overall look, he looks like a tranny. NTTAWWT. but if this drill tape makes him "fall" into A&M's lap, i'll take it. because apparently he's way better at facing down OL than he is with facing down dummies.
  5. or 3. He knows shit, doesn't know shinola, and can't tell the difference.
  6. well, she did "personally" believed something about the "U.S. Americans." She's from South Carolina and her name is Caitlin Upton, which is a perfect name and domicile combination for competing for Miss Teen USA. because, uh, some, uh... U.S. should help the U.S., uh, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and should help the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future. For our children. That was glorious!
  7. I'd have preferred a gif reference to Farmers. Seen it. Covered it.
  8. I don't follow. Folks here don't care for wordplay? Or specifically about GoT references?
  9. Jimbo will make up for lost time by talking extra fast...
  10. So... Valai Morghulis? or Valai Dohaeris! What's the consensus for your new CB coach?
  11. Is that really what you're getting out of this interaction?! To be clear, my argument is that Kendrick Rogers may do ok in NFL; he isn't competing head-to-head with Collin Johnson; his having more pedestrian numbers versus Johnson in their two respective college careers have valid reasons (already mentioned) and Rogers' college numbers may have no bearing on how well he does or doesn't do in the NFL.
  12. Sorry, I wasn't clear; by early I meant he left early, after his junior year.
  13. Didn't adjust for 3-star vs 4-star, and the offensive scheme. Playcalling that uses WRs more will obviously lead to WRs getting bigger numbers. Trayveon Williams racked up more rushes, rushing yards, receiving yards, and TDs in one year under Jimbo than his previous two combined. And got drafted early too. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/trayveon-williams-1.html Same season, ya'll had Toneil Carter, a 4-star? Tre Watson, Tristian Houston, Keontay Ingram. What are rushing totals? https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/stat/rushing-yards-per-game?date=2019-01-08 Probably similar statistical difference in TE numbers too.
  14. Look, the Pirate is wearing maroon! Finally! We did it! /an Aggie.
  15. Ed O made a change; Jimbo seems too dumb to make a similar change. Only time will tell. Ags have only 8 more years of money to hand out still...
  16. guess that means Erick Young's dream of playing corner is dead, eh?
  17. corner is getting better and is getting better coached than previous coaching. you can also hide corner issues with a great pass rush, which hopefully is getting on campus now.
  18. Is there really a debate that UT and A&M have different offensive schemes under Herman and Jimbo respectively? It seems clear that Jimbo's possession style O will showcase more RBs and TEs and fewer WRs. Guys like Ausbon will do well enough to also get into NFL. There's just one data point (last year's draft) with Jimbo at A&M, and already got a TE and a FB (of all positions!) into the NFL. I looked up Collin Johnson's season stats; he has has one season in 4 where he got close to 1000 yards. Statistically he had a better college career than Kendrick Rogers did, but not by a whole bunch. https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/4039043/collin-johnson https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/4035255/kendrick-rogers Rogers was also a 3-star no-name recruit out of high school in Frankston, TX (rated 78th best WR); while Johnson was more heralded 4-star out of Cali (41st best WR). https://247sports.com/Player/Kendrick-Rogers-35182/high-school-57987/ https://247sports.com/Player/Collin-Johnson-43002/high-school-71486/ Herman's system will likely feature more WRs and so more of them will likely get drafted, even though it would appear that Johnson didn't achieve all that he could-- or perhaps the 4 and 5-wide sets means multiple good WRs will get the ball and not one or two dudes who get to shine.
  19. ugh. Thanks for another reminder of why I don't read texags. What's the age range and education level of that membership? Or perhaps more pertinent-- how much English did they learn in all their schooling? The Pirate will teach them.
  20. "how to draw up contracts" was a class in MBA that nobody in A&M's administration took, and it's obvious. Good for Stumblin and Jumbo to cash-in when they got their chance.
  21. And yet they beat aggy. well, shouldn't that be a given for UT? that's without even going into the situations of the two programs-- the staff turnover, the players, etc. A&M shouldn't have been in that game. I thought, going by UT's roster, this year was going to be big for you guys. But Shaka... Shaka! When the walls fell
  22. which movie is this from? i've seen it but am forgetting it now. hilarious!
  23. slowly but surely (or is it surly?) SEC football is becoming more like Big12 football. and we can kinda sorta blame it on Stumblin and Juanny Foosball for showing what a blitzkrieg fast-paced power air raid offense can do against Bama and the likes. Jimbo has may be next season to notch up wins against these 3 programs and then either change up his O (like Ed O did) or outrecruit and outskill these teams, because otherwise he is going to lose... especially if he doesn't get better CBs (I assume he got at least one good-to-great pass rusher of the 3 in the 2020 recruiting class).
