  1. I don't think that many people truly believe COVID-19 is a hoax. Yes, there are some, and yes, they are morons. I do think there are many who believe the continued lock-downs, and the continued fear-mongering at this point, borders on a "hoax." I think that informed people have stopped listening to anything coming from the WHO. I can tell you from personal experience, living in Hollywood, that there is suddenly zero talk of social distancing or preventing "large gatherings." Now, once the protests slow in the next few days, I expect a return to the "lock-down" discussions. I expect the "experts" to continue to say we can't have sports with fans. But if there isn't a large surge in symptomatic cases from these huge groups of people gathering and screaming together for hours at a time, there will genuinely be very little to support preventing sports with fans in the stands come September.
  2. Wait, are we still talking about COVID-19? That shit is so 1 week ago.
  3. The foam pad being tossed away takes the win.
  4. You should definitely wear a mask when visiting her.
  5. I suspect they will delay making the attendance final call a little longer.
  6. If you had a bowl of 100 m&m's and all were poison, yet unless you were very old, had a compromised immune system, or severe comorbidities, you could eat the m&ms without dying. You could possibly, however, get sick for a few days or a few weeks. Though in most cases you'd be completely fine unless you were in that high risk group. You also get to keep your job and your income and watch football games and eat at restaurants if you eat a m&m. Would you eat one? What a stupid fucking hypothetical. Thankfully, people are fucking sick of this shit and are starting to responsibly reopen, and I am fairly convinced we will have football this fall in some form if things keep progressing as they are currently.
  7. Yes, you are wrong. Georgia is reporting Hospitalizations cumulatively. ■ Hospitalizations: Defines the count of confirmed cases in which the patient was hospitalized at the time of reporting to DPH. Because of how this number is reported to DPH, it may be underreported. This number does not represent the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases currently hospitalized.
  8. Gotta be that 3-star future All-Pro they just landed.
  9. Boxed Wine, Merchant Marines, Bags of Cash and Jimbo on speed dial are all part of her greatest hits too.
  10. Well, I happen to live in the city where that one person is the mayor, so it’s kind of a big deal around here. I do believe you are right however, especially on the West Coast. There is no way those in charge will allow large gatherings in 2020. And who the fuck knows about 2021.
  11. “LA will never completely reopen without a cure.” -Eric Garcetti
  12. I agree, I'd like to see what treatment that poster is referring to. I'm curious though, what the definition is of "effective treatment?" There are thousands of people who have recovered completely from COVID, and many received "effective treatment" to help them recover. An "effective treatment" is far more likely than "a cure" arriving before September. The reality is this virus has spread much further than the official numbers are saying. The governors and mayors and other experts who asked us to stay home and flatten the curve are now telling us we can't reopen without a cure. And that everyone needs to be tested. Would all those increased positives suddenly make these leaders and experts feel better about letting us return to our lives, or will it give them more data to point to longer lockdowns? And how many tests will make people feel better? Daily? Hourly? Installing plastic dividers in stadiums is ludicrous and won't do much other than provide an illusion of safety. Wearing cloth masks we are told are essential. Even though Dr Fauci himself said in March that they don't really help and actually can make the spread worse. As did the surgeon general. And the CDC. But now they are crucial to re-entering society? Until we stop treating this virus as the greatest threat to humanity we have ever encountered and start accepting the fact that this is a virus which will spread no matter what we do, we will NEVER return to any sense of normalcy. I am beyond fucking sick of the panic driving the narrative.
  13. Today marks the 60th day that we have been self isolating in Los Angeles. And just a few hours ago, the un-elected LA county health official Barbara Ferrer decided to toss out that we'd be under the shelter order for 3 more months. Besides the fact that she is offering contradictory information that has inflamed many people today (beaches are opening tomorrow, some restrictions already being lifted), I figured there was very little chance that the PAC would play this season. The PAC will likely lean on the "can't return to normal until we have effective treatment or a vaccine" narrative. It is seeming more like there will only be a few select conferences willing to play, starting with the SEC. And I expect this whole thing will get very ugly very soon.

  15. Camel Toe filter working well.
  16. One of the 20 year olds had been critically ill already. Did the second have any health issues?
  17. I’m glad the Lockdown has not slowed Karen’s bustling business. I wonder which recruit’s mom had to watch her vomit on Zoom?
  18. Congrats to aggy for their dominant first round success.
  19. So by May 24th, unless it is June 5th, June 15th or June 27th. That Dr. Fauci Liucci really knows his shit. I really just want to know where he will be crushing wings once the pandemic ends though.
  20. Right, because the health authorities are infallible, irrefutable, and we should never question them. JFC.
  21. You guys must be new at following Texas recruiting. This shit has been happening since before the days of Bobby Taylor and William Carr.
  22. Garcetti is talking out of his ass as usual.
