  1. Fightin’ Fulmers comin’ outta retirement?
  2. I get your point, but couldn't similar things be said about IMG players? They aren't as over-utilized as your standard Katy back, but the wide open running lines they enjoy are even more dramatic. And there are zero IMG players that are raw, moldable kids. You get a player from IMG who has been trained to the maximum they could possibly be at this level.
  3. The negativity towards Glass is pretty funny. I get that you fucks like to portray Katy RBs as the high school version of Wisconsin RBs, and we are all nursing a pounding hangover from watching Kyle Porter. But Glass to me looks like the kind of RB that will go to Okie Lite and torture us for 3 years, while the announcers say shit like "he grew up wanting to go to Texas", and the casual fans start asking "why didn't Texas get that guy?" I also recall watching that Katy vs Westlake game a couple years back and thinking "who is that kid" while watching him run wild. He and Sam were the two best players on the field that night. I'd rather get Cain or Sanders, but I don't think the kid sucks.
  4. Jesus, how old is that bitch? She's been dealing with clients for 67 years? Unless she was in the child labor force, she is at least 80.
  5. At some point, the Heisman is going to have to happen after the playoff games to remain relevant at all.
  6. And strong Polynesian ties.
  7. If we can't revisit and enjoy idiotic dipshit comments by Hamm, in his quest to be a college football recruiting director, then the terrorists have truly won.
  8. I wanna reach out and grab her.
  9. Due to injuries, I had no choice but to start Henry tonight in the fantasy playoff first round. Thank you, fantasy gods!
  10. Bullshit. An expanded playoff would not do anything to kill the regular season. The only thing that it theoretically adversely effects are some of the Bowl Games but those are already exhibition matches, as they have always been, and you need not look further than the fact that every year more NFL prospects are skipping these "optional" games. A real, true playoff, not this slightly altered version of the BCS, completely changes that. How exactly would the regular season be compromised this year if we had 2 additional teams in the playoff, or 4? And you keep pointing to losses being the defining factor for the committee, while you are completely missing the fact that 3 of your 11 wins have absolutely zero weight. Yet you think that somehow proves that EVERYONE should schedule worthless, meaningless games? Furthermore, what good does it do your team to play a team like Austin Peay? What did your team learn from that experience, a 45-0 shutout against a completely overmatched team? "Strength of Schedule" is an inherently flawed metric, and it is based in subjectivity, just like the selection committee. You are arguing for the subjectivity that fits your particular narrative and decrying the one that does not. And Notre Dame does not attempt to schedule the best 6 loss P5 teams to fill their schedule. That is just a stupid comment. These schedules are made years in advance, and Stanford, USC, and FSU were not 6 loss P5 teams at that time. Maybe they are just really good at predicting the future though. They are leprechaun's after all.
  11. Does Georgia tend to play press coverage with their CBs, or do they tend to play more off?
  12. A Fucking Higdon sighting...what's next? Is Monarch gonna show up in a sweet Benz and challenge for the dumbest poster title?
  13. This has been covered above. I read the Googles schedule and got all fired up. My bad. I will take the L. Tito's crack, for the record.
  14. Fuck you are right. Fucking Google. Serves me right anyway. Austin Peay, Middle Tenn and UMASS are legit shitbag teams they played in 2018.
  15. You keep talking about schedule strength as if Georgia played a murder's row. You fucking played Austin Peay and Middle Tennessee. That right there is enough to say fuck off, Georgia.
  16. "Who had the toughest strength of schedule? Georgia." How is the fuck could anyone say this? Georgia beat Notre Dame in week 2 by 1 point. The same Notre Dame that Herbie is saying is probably undeserving to be in the "playoff". They lost to LSU, a team that couldn't beat aggy. They played 3 junior high teams as well. How could anyone say they had the toughest strength of schedule, with a straight (clown) face? What a fucking toolbag. App State Austin Peay Samford Middle Tenn Regular Tenn UMass that is 6 ludicrously weak teams right there. They lost to 2 out of the 3 "good" teams that they played. God, I hope we win this game. The amount of revisionist history and excuse making from the Herbie's of the world will be glorious.
  17. I literally received a text message from annoying aggy friend yesterday that said exactly that..."addition by subtraction" and he was bragging that they passed us. Fucking clowns.
  18. So, I guess LSU out-talented Georgia this year? The same LSU that gave up 74 to aggy? I guess U of H out-talented Florida State in the 2015 Peach Bowl? You are right though...playing against talented teams just scares you to death.
  19. Yes, watched it recently. If you liked Mr. Robot, there are visual similarities. It is an interesting concept and a bit of a mindfuck. The episodes are very short which works well for this series. Check out a couple of episodes, I thought it was pretty solid.
  20. I appreciate the breakdown. Georgia is a very talented team, and they are probably a couple of years ahead of us from a talent acquisition standpoint due to their rampant and ridiculous "recruiting" tactics. Not that the OP is saying this, but I am getting really fucking sick of reading on the interwebs that we will be completely outclassed athletically against this team. Texas is not a fucking group of 5 program. We have multiple NFL caliber athletes on this team. We have a physical beast playing QB. Outside of beating Notre Dame by 1 point, what great team has Georgia beaten? When have they faced WRs like Colin or LJH? Texas is not going to be run out of the building, I can guarantee you that. We will compete, we will knock the fuck out of them, and we will make plenty of plays. Georgia is going to be a huge test for our program and will give us a very accurate barometer in where we truly and currently stand in the College Football landscape. Winning this game would be a huge shot across the bow of the SEC, ESPN, and anyone who thinks it is funny to mock "Texas is Back" and do the Horns Down. We need to treat this game like a fucking turf war knife fight and play our best game of the year.
  21. No shit. That would be terrific. I vote Gary Johnson.
  22. Love the confidence..."likely" his best recruiter. In other words, he wasn't. Such a savvy move for the team who has absolutely "cleaned house" in Texas this cycle. At least, until signing day.
  23. What the fuck does this mean? One defensive player has made 3 boneheaded decisions, or 3 defensive players have? I haz confuse.

    Caden Sterns

He REALLY wanted to cut that hair.
  25. I don't understand the hand-wringing I have seen regarding D'andre Swift, as if he is so incredible we might as well roll over and die. We have faced plenty of NFL caliber RBs in recent years and fared just fine against them. Swift is an elite RB talent, but so was Ronald Jones. So was Joe Mixon. We face future NFL players every fucking year in multiple games. Both OU RBs will play in the league. So will David Montgomery and Justice Hill. This is just buying into the SEC bullshit narrative that they have individual players that are so far and above anyone else's level. It is bullshit, and will always be bullshit. Alabama is the only team in the country right now that can out talent you with their 3rd string.
