That Olin article is really a flawless piece of aggy pandering, like a Billy Liucci fever dream, hitting all the key points:
1. Media disrespect/conspiracy - Check
2. Finebaum dig - Check
3. “Unsubstantiated” accusations of paying players - Check
4. Overestimation of aggy talent - Check
5. Pretend 5-7 was actually almost 10-2 - Check
6. Setting up for SEC Champs in 2023 - Check
7. Rest of SEC is scared of sleeping giant - Check
Well played, Olin.- 11

A few portal notes from OB
A few Portal notes...
* There are still expectations the Longhorns will add a few pieces via the Portal before the Portal window closes on January 18th.
* It'll be interesting to see how it all unfolds, but the silence is by design. The last thing the coaches want to have to deal with is seeing other schools jump into their action because the news of their interest in Texas came out too early. One Big 12 coach told OB on Thursday that no one should be be surprised if a flood of players across the country enters the Portal next week right before the Portal closes, as we've continued to gain Intel that a lot of schools are essentially telling players to stay away from the Portal until the very end of the process in an effort to keep other schools from interfering with the work that has been done behind the scenes. Also, a lot of schools are using the full 48 hours that they have before inserting a player's name into the portal as a way of keeping other teams from gaining an advantage.
* Keep an eye on the wide receiver position. I expect Texas to target a couple of players at the position in the Portal.
* Word is getting out across the country that Georgia sophomore wide receiver Adonai Mitchell could enter the Portal once the national championship game is played against TCU. The 6-4, 190-pound Mitchell is originally from Missouri City, Texas, but he played his high school ball in Nashville. He has 8 receptions for 112 yards and 2 touchdowns on the season, including 3 receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown last weekend against Ohio State in the national semi-final. His situation in the Portal (should he enter) will be one to watch. So “Insidery” by OB, as usual. “The silence is by design.” “Expect Texas to target a couple of players at the position in the Portal.”

For sure. He's a dork surrounded by 5 star talent all over the place. He's AJ McCarron pt 2. He's not prancing around like a KC faget this game at all. He has no shot in the pros.
Put this guy on TCU and they have 4 losses this year.Maybe 5 losses.

Bennett playing like a walk-on again.

I mean, you basically have Travis Kelce, Georgia. What took you so long to use him?

The fucking holding is just so blatant.

What garbage playcalling.

So, the team with the best QB seems to win. Who knew?

Refs bailing out Meatchicken now. Blatant holding ignored before that no-catch.
