  1. Anyone in the DFW area, check out the Rock Island Premier Auction in Bedford this weekend. Preview is Thursday, some sweet collector items
  2. Any recs for a gunsmith in Fort Worth area? Looking to get some barrels re-blued
  3. Campaign yard signs. They were stuck along Roaring Springs near Shady Oaks for the event. Should be gone now
  4. Looks like Trump or Vance is at Shady Oaks today. Lots of campaign signs in the right of way and lots of police around the course. Someone "edited" the signs with Felon and Traitor spray painted on
  5. Agree with this, I would go the used route to expand your options. Also recommend going to a trap and skeet club and try shooting some different guns to settle on one with a good fit for you. For me, it's the Winchester 101, which you can usually find used for under $1k.
  6. Originally a Louis Schreiner mansion renovated by Gatti's owner Lloyd Brinkman in the 80s to serve as HQ and house his art collection. I grew up there. After Brink's death, the mansion sold and art collection was liquidated
  7. Dos Molinas also a solid option based on your criteria
  8. He hasn't kept quiet about it. That statement was out there years ago, just nobody paid attention
  9. If you like mid century ranch with decent sized lots, you are in luck. Most homes have been updated, good mix of starter families and empty nesters. Great for convenient access to most things in Fort Worth. Some sketchier areas on the edges/near the apartments, but overall quality neighborhood
  10. Anybody know of a good butcher/meat market. Not some gourmet fancy place like The Meat Board (and I love eating there, just trying to avoid paying $40 for a tri-tip)
  11. I got the letter in the mail too and usually can Hillsdale crap. It did surprise me as Sajak has done a good job of keeping his batshit crazy side gig out of the public eye until now
  12. For lunch I would say Luciles or Lili's. Avoid Reata, it has has really gone down which is sad. Don Artemio is overpriced for lunch, Maria's is the better bet. Have heard good things about Quince too
  13. If you are still looking check out El Jefe. They are booked up but might give you a reputable recommendation
  14. Outside of the price point but Rimowa is far superior to Tumi. Tumi is not the same product it was 10 years ago. If in Ft Worth, the two stores are in walking distance at Clear Fork and you can make the comparison yourself.
  15. I stopped in once and it was good and quick, actually busy with good mix of people eating there too.
  16. I don't get why Eva Guzman didn't get more support from that crowd in the last election. She literally screamed in her commercials about how her parents were murdered by illegals, she married a cop, and had bigger balls than Paxton. I would think the GOP money base would love her
  17. Milquetoast is the anglicized version which is more appropriate as it is even more pussified
  18. Her lawyer was snubbed too, his performance was awesome
  19. Take your cards to a local card shop and they can estimate the base level value (sorry but I don't know the exact lingo). They can then recommend if it is worth grading and guide you through the process
  20. I also don't have a thing for fat, ugly, pasty redheads, but god bless the guys that do. That's why they make fords and chevys (or Dodges in Shiv's case)
  21. Tavern is always a good choice and especially for brunch
  22. Went to Poop Deck last year and everything was bad. For the circle , Purple Frog! They also have a weekend brunch with big $3 bloody Mary's and mimosas and a great menu
  23. Also have one at Ye old Bull and Bush
  24. He was hospitalized in the 80s and tried to kill himself. Alas, he failed Texas yet again
  25. Dan Patrick fucked up his own suicide, twice
