  1. I'm in Fort Worth, but looking for a rear bench seat, bikini top, trim kit, and rear spare tire holder
  2. What is the best source/site for old (80s era parts and add ons? Currently rehabbing my Grandads 82 Scrambler
  3. My boys (age 7&9) got interested last summer. Their uncle gave them his cards from 80s-90s, which included around 90 Nolan Ryan and lots of Michael Jordans. Love that they are getting to know the old guys as well. Bought my oldest a Hank Aaron card from 71 for his birthday, poor condition but it's his favorite player.
  4. Went to Helen's once. Was told to wait 10-15 minutes for the chicken. I did, but not worth the wait. Lisa's or Popeyes can get you the same right away. For outstanding fried chicken, go to Drew's
  5. Count me in too. Trying to find Sakos for my sons
  6. Anyone have experience with Lucchese benchmade/custom recently? My wife won a huge gift card with them and trying to decide what to get.
  7. We live 5 minutes from there (Ridgmar). Great neighborhood. Roy Pope really wants to build that neighborhood vibe. You are convenient to everything and would recommend
  8. I love Don Artemio for dinner but would not go back for lunch. My lunch there was 3 tiny tacos (very good) with no sides for $20. For something comparable, Maria's does a much better lunch (fancy Mexican food)
  9. What connections do you need? I can hook you up on the Carshons side
  10. Why does this movie never come on anymore? It used to be on constant rotation. Hollywood payback to Mel Gibson?
  11. Fred's has lots more space, heard good things about it. We went to JD's last weekend. It gets busy, but food and service is great
  12. Our 8 year old did La Junta last summer. Great experience. They are currently doing a travel tour to major cities in Texas. Provides a good intro. Will be in Ft Worth this Sunday.
  13. Tommy's Burgers for lunch. Small cheeseburger with jalapeños. Good as it looks
  14. Spent last weekend in the Quarter. Finally went to Casamentos. No frills dive with great gumbo. Walked by La Petite and wanted to eat there. Shrimp and Grits at the Columns are great. Antoine's was a last minute book and worst meal of the trip, got seated in the cafeteria out back with a coked up waiter
  15. If a guy kept bragging in every stump speech how I kissed his ass, I probably wouldn't mention him either. Actually I would, but probably about what he could shove up it
  16. Beto was easily the best democratic candidate in a generation. He raised more money than wheels. He had the best motivating policy decision (overturning roe v Wade) ever. He still posted the same numbers as a lesbian mexican sheriff who didn't raise a dime. I like Beto, but this shows the battle the dems face in Texas
  17. Once Bitten was a great campy vampire twist with Lauren Hutton vamping it up. So bad that it is good
  18. Went there about 6 months ago. Food was good. It is not one of my favorites, but I would recommend it
  19. Went to West Side Cafe today and was not impressed. Chicken fried steak was pre breaded and frozen. French fries were frozen. Clientele looked inbred. My younger son said at least the gravy was good
  20. Henry or Winchester makes a great keeper gun for a kid
  21. I drove by JDs around 6pm and the parking lot was packed
  22. Agree on the 870 recs, if you can find an old one buy it, for the new ones, just walk on by
  23. I'm partial to the 4x weaver because that's what granddaddy always used. It is the scope i still have on a couple of my rifles
  24. His pull with the Saudis was selling gaudy gilded crap in NYC that they would pay top dollar for, they have the same taste
