Look, they could afford Derrick Henry this year. Jerrah's got you snowed. The front office not signing Henry had nothing to do with the extension of the WR or the QB.... In fact, it actually freed up money for this year and next. If you don't understand the economics of football, it's hard to understand team building. Henry's great.... on a winning team. He makes a good team a step better, but see Saquan. A good RB can't save a team from itself. Who else would you have signed, and how would that effected this year's cap? Remember, if you don't sign Dak, he's counting about 50m vs this year's cap, so you actually have less money to spend this year. Or did you not understand this?
If you just want to say, Dak isn't playing up to his contract and we should have sucked to get in position to draft a franchise guy, then cool, there's probably a pretty good argument.
