Extremely embarrassing showing for the Wolves. Hard to see where they go from here other than change parts on the edges. With no real picks, they'll have to get lucky in development or free agent market. Could they get someone to actually pay for Rudy? maybe. That could be a way to clear some cap space and get some draft picks and reset. I don't know, then you risk losing Ant, although he's signed for awhile. Regardless, they need to find a Robin who can make Ant better.

For reals? I guess because she plays a very rote WNBA post position where it's all under the rim, she's not as well known, but she's extremely accomplished. UConn product, US Olympics gold medalist, NCAA champion, WNBA RoY and first team WNBA multiple times. She also created the Unrivaled league with B Stewart. I don't know a ton of players in the WNBA, but Collier is probably a top 5 player in the league..... which, of course, is your point. She's eons better than Reese and probably should be more well known....

On a night where Clark didn't play very well and certainly not for her as she went 0-5 from 3 point land. Again, Reese in wanting to stay relevant has to outdo Clark.... in every way she can. Angel decides whatever Caitlin can do, she can do better and went 0-8 from the field and just for good measure, as her team got blown out, was -25 for the game, leading all players in +/- for the night. Angel certainly throwing gas on that rivalry fire..... For real, she's better than this and we all have bad games, but you have to admit it's funny that she seems to have unbelievable timing.

Wow..... he was like 6'2" his last year in HS. If you get lucky he grows another half an inch or inch. But with those measurements..... I'm thinking you keep is simple, stupid and take Harper. Teach him how to win and how to lead. Trade Fox in 2-3 years and Harper/Castle is your backcourt for the next decade or more. We'd still have assets to trade for a star level player either this summer or at the deadline.

So is Jalen Tolbert.... arguably, and that doesn't bring me any solace. Blue has some juice but he's a COP who didn't break many tackles. Pickens with his head on straight has this offense on the fringe of being top 12. Pouty Pickens and we're back to hoping CeeDee doesn't get hurt as there isn't much else. We still have no depth at the skill positions.

When you're bad, you pick BPA and then figure out roster construction later.... now that they're ascending into a playoff team, they need to work free agency into filling holes. Really they just need a rangy 3 and D guy like a Robert Horry and a banger off the bench who can rebound like a demon. Back court they badly need more shooting..... a crazy shooter should be the target in UFA.

He and Williams are the same sort of guy, but Mafah doesn't have the knee injuries. Ultimately, the Cowboys RB room is even more unknown than last year. Blue is COP back and has ball security issues. Good thing is a good coaching staff can correct his fumbling problems and he has juice but he's too small to take more than 10-12 touches a game on average. Mafah and Williams are bruisers but lack burst and wiggle. We still don't have a lead back, it's a room of RB2's, which hit was last year but at least Dowdle had the size and burst of a lead guy. idk, I don't hate it, but I would have taken something in round 6, but RB is a place you can find a UDFA or guy off the garbage pile and to really help..... at least a good front office can. Need a WR weapon or someone in that room will really need to improve.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet
Patrick Bateman replied to Coach pop a bitch's topic in Football
Congratulations to Quinn!!!! Miami with McDaniel is actually a good spot for him. Allows him to play a timing based, get the ball out quick, spread offense. I wish him only great things! LFG, QE!!!! Be great! -
If Dallas gets Allen or Martinez here at 204 and then another IDL in the 7th who can maybe soak up blockers in a year or two, then it's been a highly productive draft. Are there still holes on the team? Sure, but there was always going to be because the Cowboys lack depth and have for years. But all of the picks (maybe outside of the 1st) made sense, were value plays, and look like good players with great attitudes. Finish it off and Jerrah will declare they won the offseson.....

So...... what about this next year? PG - Fox SG - Castle SF - Kevin Durant PF - Sochan C - Wemby Bench: Vassell, Champagnie, Rookie, Rookie, UFA, UFA, UFA Trade: KD (51m in) for Barnes, Keldon, Branham & Wesley + draft filler (1st and a swap probably) (19m + 17.5m + 5m + 4.7m = 46.2m + filler if needed) The only way this works is if KD was adamant about going to the Spurs and wouldn't play ball unless he gets there..... which is what guys who are under contract do these days. One of the UFAs would have to be a shooter, because we're a shitty shooting team. Another would be a rotational interior defender/tough guy muscle. That would allow the Spurs to be aggressive and go BPA in the draft. If Castle is as good as I think he can be and brings the defense along with Sochan and Wemby, can that squad challenge in the West? I do admit the KD trade isn't likely, but there is a path. If we draft 8 or 9, who do you take or hope for? Knueppel? Egor? Fears? Tre?

About Milton, while I'm as circumspect as anyone about his ability to master the nuances of the game, especially mentally, to be a starter or maybe even high end backup in the league, the Cowboys didn't overpay. Apparently some other teams were in the mix and interested and the Pats got a slightly better offer (I don't know about that)... https://x.com/Schultz_Report/status/1907809290015973677 The major issues continue to be problematic. First, the team has zero depth, at almost any position save maybe OG. And as usual, Dallas has done almost nothing in UFA. They basically signed a solid LB and then a bunch of camp bodies. So they desperately need a talent infusion and the front office has turned their 4th and 5th rounder into Mingo, working himself out of the league and Milton, champion of the underwear Olympics but still a ton to learn. Additionally, the front office continues to leak like a polish submarine. The rumor had swirling around for a week..... they just don't know how to do anything without tipping off the press. At least Milton is known as a hard worker and very good teammate. Who's everyone wanting at 12? If you don't know the player, what position?

āIām your huckleberry.ā RIP, Val Kilmer
Patrick Bateman replied to shadow_operative2.0's topic in Movies and TV
This one hurts. RIP, Val..... you were a good one. -
Destroy them..... This is just a rumor to keep the Sanders to Dallas thing going. Understand this. They just restructured Dak's contract. He's not going anywhere under normal circumstances or rationale people at the helm. If he was going to be moved, it means Jerrah went cowboy and did something on his own and the first clear sign of dementia. Sal who is not a content creator @queens_guy Ā· Mar 26 Dak Prescott to Cleveland Rumors: If the Cowboys trade Dak they LOSE $95m in cap space in 2025. The Cowboys currently have $33m in total cap space left. Dak has a no trade clause. The math aint mathing to this rumor.

Dante Fowler coming back to rush the passer on 3rd downs. He was okay, I probably would have rather kept the young-ins but he's a servicable backup. Mike Garafolo @MikeGarafolo Pass rusher Dante Fowler and the #Cowboys agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth up to $8 million, sources tell The Insiders. Fowler heads back to Dallas, on a deal negotiated by Sean Kiernan and Tom Povinelli of @AthletesFirst, after notching 10.5 sacks with the #Commanders in 2024.

LOL. Elam sucks shit. And you gave up draft capital for him. So fucking dumb. Cowboys love fucking around with busts. Namely, first round busts. It's weird obsession now. It hasn't been working, getting guys who wash out. #Cowboys have made five signings/trades this offseason. Here is where those fives players were drafted: Solomon Thomas (No. 3 overall) Kaiir Elam (No. 23 overall) Payton Turner (No. 28 overall) Javonte Williams (No. 35 overall) Robert Jones (UDFA)

That's a really good deal for Lewis. 20m guaranteed, as long as he doesn't fall off a cliff, probably closer to 25m guaranteed through 2 years. Highest paid slot corner as he's turning 30 years old. Funny thing is there were rumors the Cowboys were interested in Charvarious Ward from the Niners..... then 3 hours later, he gets 60m from the Colts. š The secondary is in real disrepair now. Diggs probably never comes back and plays at a real high level and possibly gets cut. Lewis gone in UFA. That means you almost have to overpay for Daron Bland to give it some sense of known quantities. Then you have a bunch of guys who looked bad last year -- Carson, Booth, and Butler are on the roster and one of them is hurt. All of sudden a new position becomes a huge need and we could see Dallas pivot from offense and go with Jahdae Barron at 12..... Oh boy. Dallas seems to come out of every UFA with more holes than they start with..... Draft can only do so much.
