  1. What the fuck is Turpin doing? He's not very good at judging when to return and not.....
  2. Great start. If we can get up 14-17 points..... I'm not sure a Zach Wilson led offense could come back unless he was going against all the opponents MILFs. Great... playing a gadget player cost us this drive...... Let's get up big before we go to the smurfs.
  3. What contender wouldn't want his invaluable contributions.....
  4. Oh, it's coming on Netflix. Many on this thread will go willingly watching while it builds the owner into some misunderstood hero, rather than the incompentent dickhead he is. I'm a little too close to this, but it's very true. I'm totally here. You get a look at a premium QB consideration for an outside 100 pick. Supposedly, he still needs to rebuild his motion but if we can re-sign him to a cheap extension for another 2 years, this could end up being a nice acquisition, even if we trade him outl
  5. Sam Williams? Regardless, almost on every play, someone was drinking Mazi's milkshake. He's a ridiculously strong guy but he's playing with other strong dudes, some who have grown men strength. His get off is slow as fuck and his technique is inconsistent. It's early and one training camp does not make a player, look at Tolbert, but with reps like this, expecting a lot of productive snaps from him early is getting hard to rely on....
  6. If on field or locker room tests show ACL, then 95% of the time the MRI simply confirms it. Really, really tough break for one rookie who was actually playing. Mazi sucked again tonight. Stephens had a knee. At this rate, Vaughn may end up as the rookie who contributes the most. Richards looks like he may make the active roster too, maybe Scott.
  7. futureman showing more of his dizzying intellect...... for the newbies, a reminder that the guy's a troll and you treat him as such. He's a moron too.... We still need another OL, the rookie kid Richards did okay, but he's not a tackle..... rather they just play him inside. Farniok played okay too but not great.
  8. 390 yds. Feels like we're going to pick up another guy after final cuts. Maybe not and they give Dowdle some run, but that's what it feels like. It's interesting. A big decision may come down to whether we dress a 4th RB or TE a cut time. ST's will play a big role.... or injury.
  9. Jalen Tolbert has made the 2nd year jump and looks to be in good position for the 4th WR. Isaiah Land had a really nice game. May be PS but may be last edge guy kept. John Stephens is gonna take someone's job. He may end up better than the 2nd round kid. I'm not real fans of our backup RBs. Vaughn is a nice RB3 gadget guy, but Dowdle and the other kid look like jags. Zack Martin was the biggest winner from tonight. Jerrah is gonna eat shit and have to pay him because Ball sucks.
  10. Getting to be a real problem.... there's some dudes with real experience still looking for jobs, but like to see this solved by the 3rd preseason game. Hey, why break tradition. 2nd rounder with known injury misses crucial parts of mini and training camp. At least he's practicing but he's way behind.... Wonder if we'll carry 4 TEs on the active roster.
  11. Okay, even if you believe they're trying to roll over cap space for a player, who will have 2 years left on his rookie deal and who's extension will almost surely be majority new and future money, not in 2024, and as stated they'll almost surely extend Dak who's number will become much more cap friendly along with either out right cutting DLaw or extending him for less cap hit. Not only this, but competing teams don't generally rollover cap money more than 3m or so. But even if you don't believe all that and the Cowboys are saving money for some sort of strange one year hit for a 4th year player, Jerrah certainly doesn't need to open his mouth and possibly alienate his 2nd best (arguably) player, which is the main point of which I was objecting to..... So if you want to live in fantasy land, let's fantasize together of Jerrah shutting the fuck up.
  12. Of course he is..... and we're currently 20m under. Don't be a simpleton. If you're on the same side of the argument as futureman, then you'll always been on the wrong side of the argument. Be better. I'm sure it will all be taken care of but Jerrah doesn't need to open his fucking mouth, but he always does.
  13. The dumbest man in football opening up his mouth when he should have it nailed shut..... Nobody...... nobody should fucking ever believe the owners don't have enough money...... fuck that. They have more than enough money to pay both.
  14. Looks like a good deal. 5th most for a CB as an extension so he plays this year as a seriously underpaid CB. Obviously needs to play at same level or better.
  15. I did fuckface and even admitted it, so fuck off and go back to the Texans thread.
  16. Actually, fractions isn't mine..... so I got it now. If he plays 17 games, 10 would be fine if it comes with 30+ TDs. He just needs to cut down on the RZ Int's..... on both ends.
  17. Dak will be 30 this summer. In the next 2 years he needs to be on a team that gets to a Conference championship (where he plays well) or a SB. Fair or unfair, this is how QBs are judged these days. Brees, who was hearing a lot of the same criticisms at the same age, won the SB at 30. Dak is a a weird age for a QB, you either get to a SB or win one and then you can have your 30's to try and get back there or you'll just be that "pretty good" QB (that he probably is) but always come with the rep of can't get it done. A lot of QBs who can't get it done don't get to start after 32-33. I'm sure there are couple but think about the older guys now -- Rodgers, Wilson, Ryan (done), Cousins, Tranny, etc. Cousins and Tranny may be on their last years as starters in the league or be the gap starter for a rookie the rest of their careers. Dak only has a couple of years before that's him. Doesn't matter the stats he puts up. Again, maybe it's fair, maybe it's not, but it's how the perception of QBs has grown.
  18. They still need a crazy as fuck LB who can play 3 downs but especially stop the run. We still need a ballhawking safety to control the middle of the field. We still need one more CB so we don't have to rely on guys who have always gotten beaten by playoff level WR corp, but certainly we made strides and sometimes the offseason doesn't present an opportunity like FS (weak ass draft, poor FA market), but I do hope Mazi can give us 25-30 good to very good snaps this year. Health, as always, will typically dictate which one of the 5-6 real contenders go forward in the playoffs. My real concern is Fat McCarthy back as a play caller. He wasn't great in the last couple of seasons in GB and I'm not sure he's the answer now. This could be a disaster on that side of the ball. We'll still score points because we have talent but will he be better than Moore in crunch time? Moore wasn't very good in in-game adjustments and it's never been McCarthy's calling card. Or it could all come together and we could get to the Conference Finals. Who knows.... but I do have some concerns about OL injuries and we need another RB desperately (not Zeke)....
  19. Hopkins probably will cost 7-10m more than Cook so there's definitely a price difference. Additionally, while the team has already admitted they fucked up with Cooper with the Cooks trade, doubling down and getting another high priced vet would be even more of a public transaction which admits how much they fucked up last offseason. I'm not sure the marginal value Hopkins could bring would be worth it. It will have to do where Gallup is in his 2nd year after injury. If he sucks again..... man, what a mistake his contract was.
  20. I think it matters what the term "pay" means. We're talking about close to the minimum with Zeke, are we talking about that with Cook? 3m per? 4m? 6 or 7m? I wouldn't do the latter but the former??? Instead of Zeke.... probably so. I think he ends up in the AFC.
  21. Speaking of Dejounte, when and why did he turn into such a dick? That trade looks like a heist right now. We'll see what it bears in fruit.
  22. They wouldn't..... Ayton has shown he shrinks in the playoffs. Ayton's a very good pick and dive big, but he either needs to extend or get a legit post game. And now he's expensive. Think I'd rather take the chance of a home run with the 3rd pick. This is a stupid idea. Besides: No. Wait, yes. Why pay a declining player a ton of money who's also a major distraction especially when he plays a similar game to one of your foundation pieces. Besides 19-20' which was weird, this is Draymond's worst year since his rookie's. Maybe if he was insanely cheap but even then..... extremely doubtful. Go home OKC fan...... you're drunk. Vassell b/c of age and fit but White's a better player right now. He should, he's 28, and in his prime. Yuck. Vassell vs Kawhi is a crazy bad comparison.
