  1. Always flags..... I detailed this last week. Our return ST's suck because they always get penalties. Another long ass field. So whoever was the stupid fuck who said our ST was excellent is a moron.
  2. Anthony Brown and his shitty tackling may have just cost us 3 points. It's the small shit. Awful.
  3. Shanny really is his own worst enemy. Such a shitty 2nd down call. No reason to just not run it down the Cowboys throats.
  4. That was the play. They'll now get points because we couldn't get off the field on 3rd and long. Fuckin wrap up, LVE, you pussy.
  5. JFC, Shanny. You're killing us lining up and just running or PA waggle off run and you get in the gun on 1st down? Yes, please.
  6. Remember this...... It's important. The defense has to get better.
  7. 2nd down run after an incompletion. Terrible play calling.
  8. LOL. That was fucking terrible. Just as bad a start as you could have drawn up.
  9. Gotta stop the run. Niners offense revolves all around it. Not a good opening sequence.
  10. I don't think the issue is exclusively playing a like a dumb kid, although certainly that could be part of it. It's all of the off court distractions, attitude issues, and the maturity problems. Now, add both of those things that he's a shitastic winning player (don't confuse with talent) and you could see a team giving up on him like Cleveland already did. Conversely, I see your point of the Rockets are playing 2025 so doesn't matter to give the dude some time to see if he can get his head straight, but the odds that happens are low. It sometimes happens and some dudes can become decent players, but it generally takes years and is often associated with other issues like addiction. Not sure if that's the case here. He's looking like a kid who's writing his ticket out of the league and will kick around the international leagues right now. Time is ticking on his career. For his sake, I hope he gets it together.
  11. Until the NFL gets 18. Keep wanting to fuck that golden goose. Eventually, they'll probably be 8 playoff teams too. Pretty much and Trent Williams should be back next week. He's the highest graded OL in the league. Have to pressure Jimmy G too, he'll throw a few up. On the other side, it's pretty much like every other game, have to have some sort of run presence and make some big plays. Niners have a good D. Top 5 in yards, 11th in points. Considering who they play in the division, that's pretty stout. Our front 7 will be tested huge. OL has to keep Dak clean. Probably come down to the turnover battle and 3rd down %.
  12. Be a very different opponent as Hopkins, Moore, and Watt will be back and playing. They'll be healthier at least but they're not playing well today thus far. I think we can beat them, but we played really shitty last time and I hated our offensive game plan.
  13. Rams putting away Niners early. Jimmy G already pulled. It's hosting the Cards next week. Too bad because the Panthers could legit win this week.
  14. Kickoff coverage is not good (27th in the league). Punt coverage is good. Our return games are mediocre to bad. No one trusts our kicker who is probably the worst kicker in the league this year with context. I question someone saying the ST's are very good, which demonstrably, they are not. They're mediocre at best. Again, our punter and punt coverage is the best part.
  15. It's actually 28/26/27m for the next few years, not 32m. That considers his signing bonus which has already been paid out by the Eagles. Regardless, Wentz may end up costing Reich his job. I don't think that'll happen and there will be another scapegoat but it's possible. If they don't make the playoffs next year, both are gone.
  16. Because he's a low drafted rookie without an experience. Wentz is a cry baby and Reich pretty much put his reputation on the line with Wentz. Regardless, any HC who did such a thing would have gotten destroyed for panicking unless the Colts would have responded and won. If Indy doesn't backdoor their way in, it could get ugly in Indy.
  17. Thought this was an interesting exchange. FTR, our special teams are not VERY good. Not at all. I do really like our punter, which after Chris Jones for 5 years and his pussy leg, feels nice. Good name too. I also think our coverage units and particularly our punt return rush unit is pretty decent, but the biggest part of your ST is the kicker and he's..... not good. Additionally, our punt return portion of that team is fucking terrible. We rank 30th in punt return average. Our longest punt return is 21 yards. Our kickoff return team is better but almost all of that is based on 1 return which went for a TD and because of injury, that returner can't return for us anymore. Without that one play, we drop from 5th to 20th in the league. We also are 30th in the league in special teams penalty so when it feels like all we get are penalties in our return game, there's a reason. 27th in penalty yardage on ST. We're 27th in kickoff coverage letting up 26 yards per return. That's bad. So, it would seem as a whole, we have a good punting game, we rush the punter fairly well and cover punts well (6th in the league). This is the best part of our special teams. After that, we're pretty much bad. We have a kicker with the yips and leads the league in missed XPs and is 24th in field goal accuracy, we can't cover kickoffs, we're really mediocre or below at returning kicks and we are one of the most penalized teams overall on ST. Not sure how Ickes looks at special teams, but it really poor analysis.
  18. Or..... they just sign Amare to a new contract with a smaller cap number and more guaranteed money..... or they convert some of his salary to guaranteed bonus to help with the cap. There's a number of different things they can do, but Gallup coming off a serious knee injury isn't going to help. I'd love to bring back all 3 but I think a lot of that will be up to Gallup and his price. And almost 12 million in cap space you'd have to just eat. That probably over 5% of the cap. Zeke is here next year, folks should just get used to it. Probably gone in 2023.
  19. I think he's probably a guy who is a backup for the next half a dozen years. He's not starter worthy because of accuracy issues, but he's pretty young and supposedly a good teammate. But yea, Drew Lock wasn't going to fare any better than Teddy this year. That will probably come this offseason unless the GJ comes back with criminal felony charges and Watson fights it. The most likely situation is the GJ doesn't indictment him or comes back with some misdemeanor charges. From there, he can then settle with all the women, then serve his suspension and hopefully for him, restart his career. Good win tonight, especially for the offense. Did exactly what we needed to. Rematch with the Cards most likely.
  20. Doug's never been an Amare fan. Goes back to when we traded for him.
  21. Judge Ito with the TD! Good for that journeyman but feel like Clement deserved to get it.
