  1. Fair catch inside the 10? Uhm...... another long field and Giants make you earn it.
  2. Getting a 3 and out here would be huge. Need to get some more points before half.
  3. We must be top 10 in dropped balls. Drive killer in the RZ. Ugh, I hate that call on 3rd. I don't care if it's an option play and it says run. Yuck.
  4. That was an amazing small play by Dak to get the 3rd conversion. Impressive.
  5. Giants actually had a great play call vs Dallas with a LB being asked to switch on a pick play. That should have been a TD and probably is 8/10 times, but Parsons is just different. Wow.
  6. Micah in coverage. What a stud on a pick play. What a fucking stud.
  7. I'd just blitz Glennon almost every play. Make sure you man underneath.
  8. We need another LB...... and safety. Our run fits suck right now.
  9. Our TE blocking is fucking terrible. It' an issue.
  10. We've missed Tank's run defense as much as his pass rush. He's so good vs the run.
  11. Schultz has taken a nice step as a receiver but seems stuck or worse as a blocker.
  12. Why? What makes you think an accountant is any better? That's an odd take.
  13. I think this has the highest probability. He's fucking radioactive right now. Probably needs to sit out all 2022 and let the narrative cool a bit. Remember, he's known as a total dick, even in college circles, so to see him fall on his face in the pros wasn't surprising but he can still recruit and probably hire enough coaches to insulate himself well enough to do well at an Oregon or South Carolina type program.
  14. This is more of what I've read. Barry was drinking a lot and wouldn't hold the guys accountable. He also brought almost no strategic or tactical advantage so really he was there to be a CEO, of which he had some success but also failed when the ship couldn't pilot itself. I think most players liked Barry, but he could have never of built a championship squad and when the waves started to get heavy, Barry was helpless. Some of it was the squad was getting older, but they probably should have won in 94 and a better more creative coach could have probably milked a run in 96' or 97'. NFL Barry was blessed by circumstance and didn't fuck it up too bad is probably the best you could say about him. Moreso, if you fast forward to today's league, the most important relationship on the team is between the HC and the QB and despite Barry and Aikman liking each other initially, Troy quickly grew frustrated with Barry's lack of organization and ability to the control the team. Barry wouldn't have last more than 1-2 years with a rebuilding team IMO.
  15. He's fucking right. 30 point swing when he's on/off the floor is fucking ridiculous and maybe not seen since big men like KAJ or Wilt were in their prime (Wilt never came off the floor). It's just disgusting but everyone on the Nuggets has died so basically he's taking the worst surrounding team in the league and carrying them to the playoffs. We talk about great players having to do this to prove themselves, but the disparity is so big, it's so worthwhile to look at. IMO, it's definitely more than a 2 man decision but narratives have always been part of the MVP discussion and ultimately vote. If it was simply on stats (advanced or otherwise), KD would be more like 3/4th and Steph wouldn't even be in the top 5. Look at the seasons Freak and..... Jimmy Butler (who?) are having. Wow.
  16. Fox is pretty soulless but gotta think it may be awhile. He's pretty radioactive right now.
  17. Yes. And they're talking about Jake Fromm getting some snaps too. Giants are in full evaluation/tank mode. They're firing the GM, Gettlemen (who is fucking terrible), and going a totally different direction. Jones may only be a placeholder QB by next year, but he can run and is athletic which can limit the pass rush. Glennon gets the ball out more quickly because he's slow but we should dominate their front regardless....... if we come to play. Huge game because if Philly beats WFT, we almost certainly clinch the East.
  18. Have you not met these characters? Neither Shiv nor Roman knew the particulars and had to ask Kendall. Remember, Shiv and Roman aren't competent. They have neither the experience nor the smart to really make this thing work. Shiv more on the experience but she keeps showing her ass when needed to make a move. Roman has almost no competency. Kendall has the book smarts and experience, but is an emotionally tormented and weak character. Again, Kendall had already made his play. Shiv and Roman thought they were still in the running to be the Succession plan. When they learned they weren't, it's a brand new paradigm and they acted accordingly. Roman was the most conflicted, but ultimately, he doesn't want to be a yes man to anyone but a family member. He doesn't care about where the company's vision, he doesn't care about it's next stage, he doesn't care about the company's corporate citizenship, he simply wants to outdo his siblings and be Daddy's favorite son. That's really all it is for him...... a contest to see who the favorite child is. I think this is a valid criticism. They children have been made to seem so hilariously incompetent, it's hard to think someone like Logan couldn't have figured this out earlier. They really are shown as morons, even though Kendall supposedly has some skins on the wall.
