  1. Nice stop..... they flipped field position but at this point, it's a minor criticism.
  2. Pass rush is getting home vs Dallas. All the Steele lovers can probably see he's pretty mediocre or poor in pass pro and then at LT, it's exacerbated even more. You also have guys needing to win on the outside. Brown drops a ball that was very catchable. Gallup is doing okay but he's not Amare in man where he can win within 2 steps. If KC scores here, then it's probably an ugly game.
  3. KC offense is based on speed. We are a fairly slow defense in the back with a bunch of box safeties. Feels like this game plan was doomed. Also, Diggs already has 3 blown zone coverages. He's not playing his assignments well. Hill skews everything and has the secondary on their heels.
  4. Secondary has 3 real corners. That’s not good enough vs KC. This is bad bad matchup.
  5. We play the most man or man 1 in the league. No one can run with woman beater Hill and Kelce controls the middle. I think you have to probably adjust and play some man under with cover 2 shells, or put Diggs on Kelce and double Hill. It'll be a cat and mouse game all day long, but it's actually a really bad matchup for our secondary (KC generally is). This is a game I think Jabril Cox would have been very valuable in. If you told us at the beginning of the season, you're going to be missing Tyron and Amare on offense and 3/4 of your projected starters on the DL and you'll be going to KC. I think most of us would think we're going to get crushed. Dak and company have played so well and Parsons and Osa are studs, so we have a puncher's chance. I'm interested to see our strategy and game plan. I think we're going to want to control the clock.
  6. Ehhh… don't agree about Cooper. Besides being our best route runner and forcing defenses to play straight on other WRs, his absence probably makes Lamb play more outside than from the slot where he’s almost uncoverable. Lamb will still play snaps from the slot, but guys like Noah Brown and others will need to on the outside. This isn’t great either.
  7. That 4th down result is why he ran it on 3rd. Ugh. I hate binary thinkers. Running a counter isn't a strong 3rd down call. That's a call if you're trying to pound and run out of the clock. It didn't have to be a pass, but something inside the tackles in that spot when the defense is almost surely expecting something safe is simply shitty.
  8. Here's something I saw. First, it impresses how much DJM means to the team now. Second, it really highlights how much DW has struggled as he should be the 2nd initiator offensively. Our 2nd unit is abysmal for the most part in generating offense.
  9. Interesting. Not against it but don't know if it's going to make much of a difference. I guess we'll see. CW's penalties seems to have doomed him. Fucking moron. But Jerrah said he was comfortable with our vaccination rates.
  10. Terry Joseph needs to see more heat. Not only does our secondary suck but they've seemed to regress, even the backups.
  11. So, he continues to improve although a SSS. He's shooting more from 3 this year and while hitting 33% isn't much to write home about, it's improvement. Turnovers are up a bit but probably because he's handling the ball more with Demar gone. Let's see how his shooting percentages settle. His FT% needs to rebound. PER is 20. WS48 is .127. BPM 3.0. Some good things thus far.
  12. So, good news here..... looks like Tyron may play on Sunday. Tough turnaround on Tgiving so if he's still sore, I wonder if he gets it off and then comes back the next Thursday. Because we have 2 Thursdays in a row, we don't get that 10 days to recover until after Dec 2nd. Also, as expected, Collins has served his time in the penalty box and will take over RT full-time. Also, some timelines. So, that's disappointing on Gallimore, but the other two, sort of expected. Dec 12th is maybe a good target for them or the 19th.
  13. I don't know..... The Crypt has a pretty cool ring.
  14. Jokic is the other guy in the discussion. If I had to choose one guy in a series or a game to play for me, it's probably KD right now. His efficiency is nuts, but Jokic's proving last year was not a fluke and Giannis is a unicorn.
  15. Bummer. Probably more like 3-4 weeks. Was rookie of the year thus far.
  16. We're going to find out this weekend between the two. This is a huge test to be on the road against one of the best teams in the league without your two best pass rushers and probably LT. Guys need to come out with their hair on fire.
  17. The issue was his back/neck injury was known before coming out and he was taken off the board by a few teams. Our draft medical staff either sucks or our draft team doesn't care about the risk. I do agree. Taco is an all-time terrible pick, especially in the context of JJ Watt being there, but LVE is still a bad pick overall especially if he doesn't give any value on a 2nd contract. Marinelli killed us in drafting defense with him putting his own needs in front of talent. Sort of interesting our defensive drafting (and it's still early) looks to be much better without him around -- Diggs, Parsons, Osa, Cox, etc.
  18. Yea, he definitely needs reps..... a lot. He can create his own shot but doesn't have a good feel for creating offense for a team, and he's going to really struggle with efficiency at the NBA level. He's very raw and green and since we're playing for draft status, as I said earlier, keep him in Austin until the trade deadline. Maybe we can unload a contract or two (Thad Young) and then bring him up and get him experience to continue to develop. I wanted to see DW ball out so he could be part of package to get a good young big, but he has his head up his ass. He's still probably our best back court defender (Murray is pretty decent too) but offensively, he's just not a great shooter. But this isn't a one year reload job, we're a long way away and this is probably a multi-year rebuild unless we luck into another DRob or Timmah. Vassell is looking like he's taken a major step thus far in his development and that's so good to see.
  19. Hook em' to the Lady Horns! What a win. Congratulations....... saved the weekend for the Horns!
