  1. I saw this on Reddit about the $500B we want in Ukrainian raw materials.
  2. The USA is going to take Kursk and build a lovely resort there.
  3. Did he just think this out of his ass because "Trump would never do that to the troops!" or is there something I missed from the admin that said they wouldn't terminate vets?
  4. I thought they dropped the Pro/Rel talk recently in their championship level announcement
  5. Missing good weather by one measly day.
  6. USL2 is not a good league and has 144 teams vs MLSNextPro that is, obviously, much better connected to moving up. Him getting minutes with a NextPro team would be really impressive, but are you sure they didn't mean MLSNext which is not the same as NextPro.
  7. Uzuni tomorrow? Yes, please
  8. Oh yeah Market Square in general.
  9. For a tourist... Food: Taquitos West Avenue - good atmosphere, food is really good for a popular spot, and something a bit different than most of the rest of the US. Pearl District- I like Southerleigh the best of the restaurants there but a neat little area to eat and shop. La Fonda on Main- classic SA place with a great atmosphere that out of towners love Things to Do: San Antonio Zoo- possibly the best in the state San Antonio Museum of Art- great location, architecture, and better works than expected for San Antonio San Antonio Missions National Historical Park- Not as crowded as the Alamo and gives a better understanding of Colonial Texas. Daytrips: Enchanted Rock State Park- Fun hike, that isn't challenging. It's about 1.5 hours from downtown. Fredericksburg- wine area, historically german town, WWII museum of the Pacific. A bit over an hour from downtown, can combine with Enchanted Rock Corpus- oddball choice but good for a day trip. Selena Museum, Texas State Aquarium, USS Lexington, ocean fishing, an ugly water beach with decent sand. 2hrs from Downtown 8 days is a lot for SA, but plenty of daytrips options.
  10. Oh yeah, I would've been happy with that honestly. They were more "poblano-ey" than I expected, in a good way.
  11. These were a welcomed surprise. I expected them to taste like a lamer jalapeno chip, but they were quite good.
  12. I'm hearing good things from the reviews. I can't wait to check it out.
  13. Well that was an easy one for the fighting Duplessises. He's a fucking Leaf.
  14. I wonder how hard NM legalizing weed hit Trinidad. It was their main thing for about ten years for Texans making the trip.
  15. Imagine missing that! Those rich assholes flying don't know livin'.
  16. Yeah I was listening to PSA and they went in on the numbers. They were quoting YouGov showing that 53% approval, but at the same time 66% said he needed to focus more on the economy. They attributed it to two factors, him being a new president in general where the honeymoon phase is still going and also the fact that he's so active and visible compared to Biden. It made me wonder if the economy was even as big a factor as pundits claim it was in November. It might have just been that the people were really excited to burn it all down or to pick a side in the culture war. They blew that off as saying that people aren't holding Trump to the day 1 lower prices promise that he made and that the general voter understands nuance. I'm not as optimistic.
  17. I might be the only one that loves that route. Now Ft Worth to Amarillo is a drag, but once I reach Amarillo then I'm having a good time. Just north of Amarillo you have some wonderful views with those canyons and it certainly looks nothing like Central Texas. The Dalhart to Clayton portion is the excitement of leaving Texas and seeing who can spot the first antelope. Clayton to Capulin is looking for the first signs of the Rockies, plus the volcano is actually a fun stop. Capulin to Raton is basically a victory lap watching the temperature drop and the terrain getting better and better. We're summer Colorado people though so maybe that's what makes it more enjoyable to us.
  18. They're already there, especially in Peru.
  19. Damn, I should go take some Gaza with those prices!
  20. I'm sure that'll stop him!
  21. Big "I wish I was just a rich figurehead" vibe from Abdullah.
  22. Is the area always as full of Chilangos as it was when I was there? It was close to 90% where we were staying in La Crucecita. It looked like everything that was geared towards foreigners was focused on attracting Canadian tourists too, but we were there in summer and they were absent.
  23. In good news, the next ten Olympics and World Cups are going to be split between Saudi Arabia and the United States.
  24. They had a great casta at the San Antonio Museum of Art in their exhibit that focused on Spanish Mexico in 1718 in 2018. I really wish that was a permanent exhibit. San Antonio 1718: Art from Viceregal Mexico - Past Exhibition | San Antonio Museum of Art "Yo, look at what the fuck I did"
  25. Great, I'm going to have to order boxes of pennies every week now at work because old white guys are going to think they're gonna be valuable even with there already being 250 billion pennies in circulation.
