  1. Yeah that's what they told John Tyler too (well not really, he was questioned pretty toughly by Dems because everyone knew ole Tippecanoe was old as shit)
  2. Disastrous, but at least Spurs lost.
  3. Yeah, I watched it too and the part where he bit his son on the head was weird as fuck.
  4. Our HS made it easy with hour lunches and no restrictions on leaving campus. I lived .8 miles from school so it was like a dream my Junior and Senior year. I remember one time my parents were off work (unbeknownst to me) and had left to get lunch of their own and came back right when we were in the middle. Luckily we had locked the garage door so it wasn't too traumatizing on them. Well 3 minutes later I open the door and they're hot wondering why the door was locked and why she was wearing one of my old shirts. They told me I was grounded indefinitely, well two days later was Friday night and I asked them if I could go out with her and they just said, "have fun." I'm pretty sure they were just relieved that I had a gf at that point.
  5. A girlfriend that you couldn't talk to on the phone because it was busy all the time? I would've loved that shit. "Oh sorry I tried calling but it was busy. Anyway, your place or mine on lunch break?"
  6. We had a family friend that died a few years back that was worth about $15M and never married or had a significant other. He was a really strict Catholic and ended up leaving all $15M to the church. When we went to help clean up his place after he passed there was gay porn everywhere and it made us really sad that he sat there with millions and millions all the while he never lived his best life because church.
  7. Hell if I had known that bacon was vegan, I would have been a vegan a long time ago.
  8. Cheater, that dude is Portuguese. Now Verratti is Italian
  9. Wednesday just need a result to ensure they stay in the Championship next year. What a wild season!
  10. Holy yellow spots batman! Is it possible that the weed and feed that I laid out back on March 20th could be messing up my grass today? Everything was going great until the storms rolled through this weekend and we got a ton of rain. It's hard to see because it's mostly behind the column but it looks significantly worse off than the houses on either side of me. Here is the specific Weed & Feed I used:
  11. Yeah those were the absolute worst football teams Baylor ever fielded but the uniforms were simple and clean. I like them much more than the yellow stuff we throw out there today. Fun 2000 BU football fact: Big 12 Games Halftime Score Iowa State 31 Baylor 3 ---------------- Baylor 0 Texas Tech 14 --------------- Texas A&M 10 Baylor 0 --------------- Baylor 0 Nebraska 52 ---------------- Baylor 7 Texas 31 --------------- Oklahoma 42 Baylor 0 ---------------- Missouri 21 Baylor 0 ----------------- Oklahoma State 36 Baylor 3 Big 12 Opponents 237 Baylor 13 Hall of Fame numbers!
  12. We (Central and Coastal Texas friend group all born somewhere between 85-91) all really liked what ISU, oSu, and New Mexico were doing back then. Basically, hopping on that Carolina Panthers/Jacksonville Jaguar train of a "fast" looking logo.
  13. We tried our own version but it was much much worse
  14. As a late 90s kid, ISU set all of the fashion trends for young B12 fans.
  15. It's been a year or so since I mentioned it but ISU needs to fully embrace the late 90s and early 00s as an institution. Whirly Bird is the answer every time.
  16. Wait y'all don't play LSU but play 4 teams from the former SEC East and only 3 from the former SEC West? Realignment is stupid even when it doesn't have to be.
  17. It's a lot easier if you convince yourself that anything peer reviewed is compromised as part of the grand conspiracy. Now you can do your own research, via YouTube/Facebook, and not have to learn any specific jargon.
  18. Meh, that's what most of them think which is an incredibly depressing thought.
  19. I've never been in a residential basement in my life. TV does make them seem cool though.
  20. Nah, if she finished at Columbia she'd get a job. Her problem though is that she'd end up on tenure track at some directional Montana school that was just excited to get an Ivy grad to apply and she'd quickly realize that she isn't as respected in her field as she thought she was going to be as some hotshot with an incredible work ethic from a well-respected public gets the job with the big boys and the book deal.
