  1. The Canadian right is all about anti-immigration. That is their number one issue along with housing prices which they blame on immigrants.
  2. Michigan is looking really good. All that matters is PA and WI with it to hit 270. Anything else is just bonus.
  3. I'm not so sure that'd do anything to be honest. I have a working theory, Eeyoric (made that word up) in nature, that the former New Deal loving Reagan is what ultimately led to our long demise and that the die is already cast. Breaking out of the second Gilded Age will not have the people supporting Progressive ideas or rural Populist ideas that Co-Ops and government could be a solution to banking and big business. Nobody is coming for the trusts this time because "The government can do nothing good" is now as American as anything else in our collective ethos. Of course the idea of limited government wasn't invented by 80s Republicans, but the push against Socialism was so strong that our own institutions were a casualty. The public trust had already been under attack since the Vietnam Era and Nixon, which was necessary, but instead of reform we have chosen the big business and R position that tearing everything down is the only answer. Which is wild, because people hate big business but yet they actively vote to tear down the only protections they have from it.
  4. and Trompo, friends and Trompo.
  5. I'm out, well no I'm not but I want a damn Obscura after the Pilsner.
  6. Obscura or Pilsner? There is a right answer.
  7. They're going to be a couple years behind us, so I'd rent instead of buying.
  8. Even removing the obviously skewed R polls aren't showing a great trend except in MI. btw, How pissed are you going to be when Kamala wins and the MSM says she was going to lose until the PR comments?
  9. We've seen some theories here that polls were going to correct toward Kamala near the end and we've seen some theories that R leaning polls were going to push a narrative of it was impossible for Kamala to win. All of the swing states that were saying Kamala had a slight lead in the NYT aggregate now say it's a tie or a Trump lead. Polling better be wrong again or we are toast.
  10. Sanderson's BYU lectures on YouTube are really good for understanding his process.
  11. That's what I spend 30% of my day doing. Along with explaining to olds that they're getting scammed.
  12. October 2024 has been a good one I might continue the spooky theme into November as I have my eye on,
  13. Nah, I live in MAGAland. They're the ones giving the grief.
  14. about to place that emotional hedge bet real quick...
  15. Sorry it was from @Bozo_Casanova's link showing young men almost as strong for Kamala as young women.
  16. Some of us are so elite that we have graduate degrees from directional Nebraska schools.
  17. According to the focus group guy on PSA it's mostly rubes (my words, not his) who think that the economy was better under Trump and don't believe that he's going to be that bad "because democracy wasn't threatened last time."
  18. It's not like those of us left behind are in any better of a spot. TX, OK, WV, KS, UT, FL, OH, and IA I guess AZ and CO are cool, for now.
  19. I'm not sure he will to be honest. Calvinball in the courts makes the legislative branch redundant.
  20. Welcome to the club, we're planning a trip down Guyana way. I'm bringing the Flavor Aid.
  21. Ah yes, the Republican love for advancing stem cell treatment. How could we forget?
  22. I did like trying to find Castle at the end to seal the game. "Here you go rookie, no place to hide, go win it." He did miss one of the FTs but Pop put him in that position in the 2nd game of his career.
  23. Well that's one way to win, I'll take it!
