  1. He is anti-GOP establishment in that they don't control him anymore, if they ever did. Those that do influence him, like Musk, are not part of the traditional country club GOP. The rest of your post is 100% correct. The billionaires and evangelicals are in control. Online we talk a lot of shit about billionaires, but corporatist America has promoted greed and money as the ultimate good for a long time so they're people to admire. The evangelical influence over the nation is always there. Their power comes and goes historically and we're getting a good buttfucking from their rise right now (but we can't enjoy it!).
  2. Correct, the people are mad that their lives suck (I don't know why that is) and want people to suffer for it. One easy way is to elect the man who will burn it down starting with those that are different.
  3. @skittlebrau 3rd kit option is obviously Austin Ice Bats themed.
  4. At this rate Trump's Library will look something like the new Universal theme park. I was thinking that he'd just pocket the money, but MAGA World would probably make him more money. Well, as long as he doesn't run it himself.
  5. They all just heard what they wanted to hear.
  6. For the love of God, whatever you do, don't stop at the Travelodge in Memphis, TX. My wife threatened divorce if we ever did that again. The Red Roof in Childress is also a shithole, but with a good breakfast.
  7. Close to mine Anarchists will sexualize Thomas Jefferson
  8. So fans of FC Dallas, do y'all plan on buying anybody this year or just having a fire sale and replacing them with academy kids?
  9. I get why they're doing it, but I'm going to miss watching MLS in the summer with no competition.
  10. The only guy I know that works ATC was in the National Guard or Army reserve (I forget which) where they trained him as well as attending TSTC then he picked up a spot in some small regional airport before moving on to a bigger airport.
  11. Some people on reddit wondering how Austin got so high on the list. They don't understand the lack of pro competition and the love the city of Austin has for the team relative to many other MLS teams and their cities. Even beyond Austin, one day last year I wore a jersey to a bar in Waco and someone came up to me saying they had season tickets and loved every minute of it even when we were losing. We have 5 of us from Waco going down for the season opener and another separate group of 5 going down for another game a couple weeks later. All ten of us prefer going to Austin FC games over any game in DFW that's just about the same distance as Q2. It's that great of an experience.
  12. And I still haven't heard him speak since right around the week before the election.
  13. Hell the delay of one extra passenger boarding, plus adding luggage, plus a change in weight, and whatnot might have been enough to make it a close miss.
  14. There are cameras present
  15. Damn man what are you in? It was pretty hard to have a bad portfolio from January 20, 2021 – January 20, 2025, especially a long-term retirement focused portfolio.
  16. I miss Lobo
  17. More info on that 2236_001.pdf ^James H. Kettner “The Creation of Citizenship in the British American Colonies and Early United States,” in Jon Gjerde, ed., Major Problems in American Immigration and Ethnic History (Houghton Mifflin, 1998). 18. Who the hell gives out an auto loan that's at 200+ LTV?
  19. Nothing expensive or fancy. Doce cuentos peregrinos which are probably my favorite works of his along with El amor en los tiempos del cólera because it was cheap. Also this slander against Gran Colombia will not stand.
  20. At this time I have no comment (Ironically, I just bought two first editions of Gabriel Garcia Marquez books today.)
  21. I would get to know this pyramid really well
  22. Prolific in La Liga for a bad team and prolific in La Liga 2 for a medium team (Both Granada). 22/23: Top goal scorer in La Liga 2 23/24: 11 goals for a relegation level team in La Liga. 15th in the league. This year: 14 goals in 18 games making him 2nd in La Liga 2 in goals. On paper he should be a damn monster if he can get the ball. MLS reporter had some thoughts,
  23. Lord knows I need the education. Everytime I think I get it there is something else I missed.
