  1. First I've heard of this but looks like something I need to check out
  2. Spot on here. They're barely tweaking a modern wolf genome, which is already about as closely related to a dire wolf as I am to an orangutan. Coyotes are dramatically closer to a wolf than a dire wolf is. (For those that find this odd, just realize that dire wolves are called dire wolves because the first time we found their bones, they "looked" like large, off wolves, but as @Pods pointed out, the DNA evidence has now shown they're actually much more distantly related.) This research is interesting in some respects, but it is not even 10% of what the headlines are making it out to be.
  3. Just to say it: I'm in Yellowstone about 100 days a year. The old and natural residents of Gardiner - the ones who are working in and around the park - are overwhelmingly blue. The rich as fuck assholes who have moved here in droves, buying up land up and down Paradise Valley just north of Gardiner - that's where the MAGATS are.
  4. I did a bunch of this three months ago, along with a lot of other European defense stocks. It uh, worked out pretty well.
  5. Yep, as soon as it happened I found a few random websites and Reddit posts complaining about issues with the the new 6.2. Dealer wanted to replace the engine and give me my car back and I immediately noped out and bought the 4Runner.
  6. I bought a new Chevy Tahoe last year, one of the higher packages. At just over 10,000 miles, the engine completely blew. Catastrophic engine failure. Got the money back, bought an upgraded 4runner and used the rest on travel. Best decision I ever made.
  7. Have you watched Stats' posts? Yes, predictable, repetitive, etc. I didn't even read all of his post - saw "Baylor" and my eyes rolled backwards. Seeing as Baylor has nothing to do with the topic at hand, it was/ is just such a moronic attempt at diversion from the topic at hand - in this case, his own inability to form a coherent argument.
  8. Can you succinctly explain why you think I would/ should care about the repetitive and predictable slop an internet nobody like yourself continues to put out? Obviously I got under your skin, and I didn't even try to.
  9. Statsman isn't known for making logically coherent arguments.
  10. It's because he's stupid
  11. You know most morons reading this graph won't interpret properly because their mind can't comprehend that they're just looking at the top 15% of the curves. But then again, most people expecting an instantaneous growth in gdp matching population in-step and impacted by nothing else is already a moron.
  12. Good lord what a completely moronic comparison.
  13. They do. Plenty of up here are pissed.
  14. Nah, I just have the time and love it. Do a lot of wildlife photography.
  15. Legitimately, over my cold, dead body.
  16. I'm in Yellowstone 100 days a year. I might see a ranger once each day. Might.
  17. Anyone with a half functioning brain who's even remotely paid attention to elections for the past two decades can easily parse the minutia of the map while still understanding the central thesis. And it may well be that the mapmaker understands this, and that your assumptions of what they "want you to believe" is just your own defensiveness rapidly bubbling to the surface.
  18. Are you dumb?
  19. Holy shit dude. Did you know birth control exists?
  20. And yet he wonders why everyone knows he's a joke.
  21. Hey dumbfuck, you've had days to reply to simple questions, during which time you've been posting here plenty. Pussy ass coward, like all Trumpers. Fucking joke.
  22. Just do it. Like all Trumpers, @Incredulity is both a sniveling coward and an utter snowflake who runs from answering any real question that involves math or logic, and he sticks around simply to troll and shitpost because somewhere in his simple brain he knows there is no reasonable defense for Trump and his admin.
