  1. Cool thanks for letting us know
  2. Looks good. Then pick up a few ACC leftovers (Pitt, Louisville, plus a couple?) in a few years.
  3. Oh Boulder was definitely the top travel destination of the original Big XII. I loved my couple of years there. Luckily I did just enough to get a degree out of it.
  4. Stanford is by no means tied to Berkeley in any meaningful way. Stanford is also just the oddest duck in this scenario, as they're the one team I could see saying "thanks but no thanks" and going semi-independent.
  5. Regents will absolutely let UCLA go. Their options may well be to let one UC system school hit the big payday, or let 0.
  6. Nightmare fuel
  7. Damn WA and OR lawmakers looking to cripple their flagship schools eh
  8. As a casual fan of college football who's grown up watching the PAC, whoo boy this sucks though. I see how it makes sense, obviously, for UCLA and USC. But still.
  9. Hawaii to ACC up next
  10. Sure, but my points #2 and #3 address that
  11. Another one where I felt like I had it in the bag then suddenly started to get nervous Wordle 377 6/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟨🟨⬜ 🟩⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟨🟨🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  12. I assume Oregon and Washington will get invites to the B1G. If not, I wonder if the PAC sticks together while giving those two unequal shares. Less media money but split more ways and with unequal shares... maaaaaaaybe holds them together? Who the fuck knows. Maybe Oregon to SEC is next.
  13. Best use of this GIF ever: https://twitter.com/AZATHLETICS/status/1542566232091533312?s=20&t=z0JlSacQG7G_0pz_HZ-7Rg
  14. Ya, I'm a college football purist, where regionality and rivalries is what makes the sport great. UT has landed in the best possible spot for them with the big three back on the schedule (it will be absolute bullshit if the SEC doesn't give you all three every year), plus another intriguing local-ish matchup in LSU.
  15. The B1G voted in Nebraska knowing full damn well they were about to lose that status.
  16. We're well-practiced by now
  17. I don't understand this tweet. 1) If their GOR is up in 2024, they can simply ride out the existing GOR, not sign and new one, and thereby forfeit no media money 2) If there are other fees involved besides media money, I'm sure the $100mil a year from the B1G will cover it 3) If enough PAC teams jump ship (9, I believe), the conference is dissolved and no one owes anything
  18. They want money and Oregon will likely be next on the totem pole in additional revenue. Pods/ divisions are going away anyway.
  19. No idea if credible, but probably anyone could say it and be assured its true:
  20. Who knows. Maybe Oregon people have worked a deal but needed UCLA and USC to squeal first so that UO could more comfortably get away from OSU ("we have no choice..." Same for UW and WSU. Or perhaps the B1G liked taking these two and is content to sit back and see what other teams reach out from the PAC/ ACC/ ND. The conspiracy theories are endless.
