As Liucci said on his podcast "You have to win to have a 30 for 30"

Everyone loves a train wreck, a nascar crash, building implosion and a pretend tough guy getting pummeled.  Aggy cramming all of that into one locker room in one season is definitely cause for a 30 for 30.   At minimum there needs to be a 'where are they now' in a few years about the greatest by God class of all time.

I get it, but that kid will probably inherit 15-20m at some point.  Jokes on us.

Jimbo's gonna have him on scholarship @ aggy in a few years - claiming he knows the offense as well anyone every has.  This will let him fill in the x's that 20xx national championship trophy!!!

They just let it go by them and shrugged their shoulders. Worthy was the most egregious offender.

I do feel like there is some effort lacking from Worthy at times this season.  There are times of amazing effort - like against 'Bama - but he also seems pretty quick to give up on some plays.  Hopefully that is not a trend.

Snaggle tooth little pussy needs to stay in his lane.  He fucked up by not taking a better job when he was winning.  Now he has a good DC who will most likely get a ton of offers for his work and bail for more money.   He should have been flagged and cold-cocked for his late game mouth.  Warms my chilly heart cockles that ISU is the suck this year.  Without his Purdy luck run, they are ass, my dude.

As much as I would like PK to succeed, Heacock to TX would be amazing

  5. Listening to Sark's press conf. today, it struck me how much we lose in leadership after this year.  RoJo, Bijan, JWhitt, DMo.  Who steps up to demand others do things the right way?  I can see Sanders.  Hopefully Ewers.  Is X that guy?  Who on defense?  Maybe Murphy & Barron?

  6. A seemingly unlikely scenario, but a standout performance against OSU will have me believing there may be truth to GP focusing on select games during the season.  Bama, OU, OSU?

If staff felt they could handle UTSA, Tech, ISU types and GP focusing on the more high powered offenses?  Bit 'em in the ass against TTU and nearly ISU if so, but could help explain the up and down nature of the defense.   Now before y'all scream, "OU had a TE playing QB" this theoretical strategy would have been launched when we all thought Gabriel would be playing.   So, if we have a great defensive game, especially on the back end, against OSU, I'm going to believe GP spent 2 weeks game planning for Gundy and  left ISU to PK.

We were asolutely offsides on that play

yes, he was in the neutral zone, but the movement didn't "cause the offense to move" i.e. have to move to defend himself.  Defense danced into the neutral zone and the OL moved to draw the flag.  That shit should have been false start.

it's also possible that PK just literally has no idea what to do with the back 7

Isn't that why GP is here? What the fuck did he do all week?  Prolly prepping for OSU (or jamming at ACL)

I-State does have a better defense than all of them

How dare you bring logic into this.   All the teams remaining on our schedule are guaranteed to do nothing but get better and we will repeat the ISU performance on both offense and defense against each of them.  That is how this works.

A win is a win is a win. OSU, TCU and KSU are going to buttfuck this Texas defense into Bolivia.

Perhaps, but our offense will likely perform a lot better against their defenses - which are not close to as good as ISU.  Maybe we win 3 shootouts.

Definitely don’t get to complain about refs anymore.

I don't understand this.  They actually call a play correctly so that overturns years of fuckery?   Nope.

General rule, if Robert Griffin is adamant about something, the opposite is probably true.

Y'all chill ... Quinn knows the secret to improved o-line play.

So my freshman year I'm scrounging for 2-for-1 Alvin Ord's coupons and this dude is picking up the tab for 6 a VY steakhouse.

I was never an NCAA athlete, but it is amazing how these dudes can roll nowadays.  Hopefully they get good advice on managing the $$

The aggy DL is talented and young. I expect them to eventually be good.

I normally would agree, but then I look at their defensive coaching staff.   It's nice to stockpile talent, but it needs to be developed - as a certain burnt orange fanbase can attest.   Maybe they have enough talent to overcome that coaching - if he doesn't kill a few of them first.

  14. A very large basis of their optimism is that their mighty defense "forced" all those turnovers.  Would they have been able to force those against a QB NOT named Milroe?

    • SHSU - 2 turnovers (1 INT / 1 FMBL) - 1 QB turnover
    • App - 0 turnovers
    • Mia- 1 turnover (1 FMBL) - 0 QB turnovers
    • ARK - 1 turnover (1 FMBL) - 1 QB turnover - trying to extend ball over the goal line from the 3
    • MSST - 1 turnover (1 FMBL) - 0 QB turnovers
    • Bama - 4 turnovers (1 INT / 3 FMBL) - 3 QB turnovers

Maybe, just maybe, aggy was beneficiary of Alabama having to rely on a shitty qb w/BoB setting up a "gameplan" for said shitty qb, rather than the "coming of age of the new wrecking crew"
