  1. Saliva huh? I wish I was a glass half full guy.
  2. I've never made the plunge on a silver or white faced watch, and I don't own a Panerai...but I'm smitten. https://www.panerai.com/us/en/collections/watch-collection/luminor/pam00978-luminor-marina---44mm.html
  3. My wife bought a pair for the whole season, so we'd have Hamilton tickets. Looks like that was the cheapest route.
  4. My bag of seeds at practice last night wouldn't seal. Rage.
  5. Payment sent. See ya'll tonight.
  6. You have a few options...10am start at an Urban Air type place to get people out early, parents can drop off and pick with no expectation that they stay, or (my favorite) have it at a place with a full bar and a bunch of TVs.
  7. And one of those was actually a small Vegas favorite in a 4/5 game...so really only one "surprise".
  8. Viewership should be fine. Of teams that usually move the needle, only Kansas didn't get out of the first round, but they'd have been playing North Carolina...so that game will draw casual viewers, anyway. Having 3 legit blue bloods + Michigan State favored in S16 games is just about as good as you can be at this point.
  9. Saturday, always Saturday. My son's birthday is Halloween, so we've never even attempted to land his party on the exact day.
  10. You lucky bastard. I’m about two more years away from having to lower the water level in my toilets.
  11. You didn’t play AAU basketball, I see.
  12. I just figured they were pimping Cinnamon Toast Crunch over Golden Grahams because of the thread we’re in...on account of that being a horrific opinion.
  13. I don’t really have anywhere to put them but I might for future game room purposes...especially if I could get 2 that were in my seat number range.
  14. This is my current daily (‘16 with the V8), and I have a hard time imagining what I’d trade it for...even with the money is no object stipulation.
  15. This is why the RPI (obviously a terrible metric but still) has overvalued KU over the years. They're very good at scheduling pay day games against teams that are going to be pretty good in their league and ultimately run up a pretty good record over the season, and they practically never a truly shit team. The metrics similarly love OU, because of all those 25-100 games.
  16. Mario Kart on the N64 was the biggest, multi year time waster. We had a semester or two where somebody bought a game called Bomberman that might have been played for a week consecutively in my apartment with different players coming and going. It sucked, but exploding your opponent with a bomb they didn't see was hilarious. At the KU bowling alley arcade, I was unbeatable at Mortal Kombat 3. If I used Sub Zero or Cyrax, you were getting a flawless victory and fatality slapped on you. I hadn't touched a machine in at least 25 years and we found one on a baseball trip last fall, so I played a few games against a couple of my players. I still remember of specialty moves and combo button presses for most of the characters.
  17. Koushik Shaw did mine and seems to be the popular choice. No jerk off follow up, you do that with a home kit, so you only go in once. Snipped Dudley and Bob on the air, etc.
  18. As baseball season approaches, I've got a new one. I've been a (25-ish game mini pack) season ticket holder for the Express for several years now. My new season ticket rep interacted with me by email and added that one, a different email than is associated with my account, to their announcement system. All my personal email lands in one spot, so I now get two back to back copies of everything promotional related to the Express or Dell Diamond It's going to slowly drive me insane.
  19. I hate this the other way around. If I ask for the sandwich by name, instead of the much shorter, simpler number, there's pretty much no fucking way I meant the meal.
  20. It’s the pleats. It’s actually an optical illusion...it’s the pattern on the pants. She’s returning them to the pants store now.
  21. My team rarely crashes out early, and I’m still not much into it. Once you’re in the final, any rest advantage for losing is gone...so I’m back into it now. I also greatly enjoy snatching it from ISU when possible. The Big 12 tournament is the most fun basketball to be at of the whole year, with the possible exception of the Final Four. Nine games in four days among the teams you know the best is awesome, even if the basketball is pretty meaningless.
