  1. I’m not going as heavy on relief pitching this year.
  2. I tried the Action Network app, turns out I subscribe. After a little digging, looks most likely that I drunkenly chased a Chad Millman tweet one time. Found money.
  3. Detroit, Brooklyn, Washington ML parlay for a unit. Shakes out to -112 or so. Golden State fits the profile, but is such a huge favorite their ML doesn’t add much value.
  4. I would like to see the new Sea dweller in person...there’s no way I “upgrade” from my 2016 ceramic that I like better, but I want to see it. Still haven’t found a dealer with one and Bernard is still getting a couple grand over retail when they find one.
  5. Come on, dude. KU appears on Big Monday exactly 4 times a season, the contractual maximum. If you want to make the argument that 3 of those are always on the road, because it makes for good TV, that’s fine. But we’re not playing half our conference games on a 1 day turn. You’re mostly right otherwise. A dirty sport doesn’t want the house of cards to crash. It unlines the pockets of too many powerful people.
  6. User name....checks....out? I’m flying to Orlando today. How’s garage parking, still turrible?
  7. Eh...yeah, that’s me. I’m busy enough for a pretty full calendar but not important enough for a full time admin. Sorry.
  8. Great one. I also want the stats to be reasonable. I don’t want myself or the CPU to throw for 650 and run for 12.
  9. Moving forward hard to say. We’re still interviewing new bag men.
  10. We’re about to the point where we start parlaying big favorites 2 at a time when they’re playing teams that are trying to lose...right?
  11. It’s odd to describe the head coach hating you as a personal matter. Prolly should have just kept him run off.
  12. Green chili beef nachos at Cover2/3 are legit.
  13. This is me too. EE and can do pretty complicated math in my head. Common core is much more like the way I solve problems mentally than multiplication tables. When I see common core bitching on Facebook, it’s from people that were abject idiots in HS. I just assume their kid’s 7th grade homework has them frustrated and out of their depth.
  14. I think slightly, because it comes with accessories you want, but it’s a premium grill...it’s not a lot cheaper. I have an egg (the Joe didn’t exist when I bought it), but I can’t imagine there is a nickel’s worth of difference between them from a cooking perspective. The Joe does seem to fix a couple annoyances of the egg.
  15. I’ll gate check my bag on every flight for the rest of my life if it means no bullshit emotional support animals within 5 rows of me.
  16. I'm 41, my wife left yesterday morning for a work trip, and I've jerked it twice already.
  17. Dude, he has one.

    Steak

Jeffrey’s is the best steak in Austin. ALC is my favorite place to eat a steak.
  19. In his defense, I can’t remember the last time KU played one for more than a few possessions. 16 straight minutes probably wasn’t in the walk thru.
  20. With the Charlie Moore travel, they’ve gotten 3 or 4 in a row right. Building momentum.
  21. Annnnd a horrible walk call. Crew overwhelmed.
  22. This game is just horribly officiated. Crew in love with the charge, two bad ones on each team. Touch fouls called, hammers not. This crew is falling victim to the atmosphere.
  23. No one else has done it at all in the last dozen tournaments or so, when Drew has done it twice. KU is interestingly the two other kind close near misses (happening twice) but they were a 1 seed, so obviously couldn't technically avoid the 8/9 winner. But they got all the way out of their region in 2008 beating 16, 8, 12, 10. They also had a 16, 9, 12, 11 path before losing to Shaka Smart in the EE. Edit: Michigan State had a 16, 9, 12, 10 also. Only other mentionable example since the turn of the century.
  24. Yeah, it's not unique to struggle there, in that way Drew is like most other coaches. The crazy Scott Drew fact was before last year (when KU lost 3 home games), he had as many losses in AFH as Bill Self did. Now (without looking it up) I think it's 13-11 or something.
  25. Drew is a very interesting case. He’s obviously a good coach and has gotten better with time. On the one hand, the pinnacle of his resume is two Elite 8 runs when the bracket fell apart (none of those 6 wins came against single digit seeds). On the other hand, he took over a situation as ugly as anything we’ve ever seen and turned it around. On that front he almost doesn’t have a comparison. Bill Snyder lite maybe?
