  1. Where didn't she give him a hand job?
  2. Not if they use ivermectin as lubricant.
  3. That looks fantastic.
  4. Same. Hadn't really kept up with him since his role as Stan Gable in Revenge of the Nerds (one of my favorite movies growing up), and am glad to see he landed a great supporting part in such a fantastic show later in life.
  5. Speaking of which, is Rick Astley still alive?
  6. Late to Season 2, and have a couple episodes to go, so not reading upthread for spoilers. The comment about the storylines seeming contrived isn't unfair. It is schmaltzy at times, and has a bit of a Ted Lasso feel where there's some sort of positive life lesson in each episode. But it still does a great job at hitting the emotions, and the performances and comedic timing of the actors are excellent. I really don't mind watching a show where all the characters are likeable in some way, everyone finds redemption along the way, and there are mostly happy endings. I get my fill of dark shit (e.g., looking forward to Season 3 of White Lotus, where most of the characters are pretty shitty and there are no real happy endings). And this may be bold, but I think Shrinking is one of Harrison Ford's best acting performances ever. I've always been a fan, but he has for the most part played some form of a hero with not a wide acting range (with some exceptions, of course, like the unexpected villain in What Lies Beneath). And while his action characters like Indian Jones and Han Solo deliver some deadpan funny lines, he's never really ventured much in the comedy realm as far as I can remember. But he's nailing this role without being over the top, and it hasn't gotten tired. If this is his swan song, it's a perfect one.
  7. Guys, immmaac advised that law enforcement reads this message board.
  8. I bet you were tired after that one.
  9. I read a report that the Trump administration is considering use of executive power to get Kyle laid in the next 60 days.
  10. What's a flank?
  11. I will say that occasionally when I comment about Abbott on this site and make a disability pun, the concept of karma does cross my mind.
  12. It doesn’t. In fact, the NFL will delete his stats from the official records. Stupid comment. Xavier was still busting his ass when the game was out of reach. Not his fault Andy Reid called a shit game.
  13. Certainly a noble position, one I generally take in life . . . except when it comes to Abbott. While maybe it crosses a line, I don't think many of us are mocking Abbott as handicapped just for his handicap. Instead, his spinal accident, while tragic for any person, was followed by a lawsuit that brought him a decent amount of cash, and he subsequently spent the better part of his career supporting tort reform that limits recovery for thousands of injured Texans every year. So his wheelchair is a device for his ridicule. But yes, we can also whale on him for being a weak political weather vane, a pandering poser, and an overall huge pussy, all without mentioning his disability.
  14. Buffalo chicken dip.
  15. Passed out on the kitchen floor while I’m making Super Bowl munchies. You can see the vet shaved a large part of his leg for the surgery. We joke that it looks like he’s wearing a muscle shirt.
  16. Starting out with a spicy grilled pimento cheese sandwich with bacon on sourdough to build a base. Followed by brisket and cream cheese stuffed japs wrapped with bacon, and a Bloody Mary.
  17. Same. Close enough for a walk to the Quarter, but far away enough to escape the louder crowds at night. Tons of great restaurants within blocks. Garden District is any easy uber ride.
  18. Picked up the brisket ones this morning. Probably didn’t need them, but that’s what happens when you go shopping hungry on Super Bowl Sunday.
  19. $5.00 for the ring, $1,995.00 for a lifetime in the aggy network.
  20. Spicy pimento cheese all made and chilling for tomorrow.
