  1. From northwest Austin, just back from a puppy walk and ready to get drunk off aggy tears . . . TEXAS!!!
  2. You should frame that. Seriously.
  3. I had no idea until this morning that there is a real person who goes by Dude Perfect.
  4. My first game was 1994, my first year at UT and in the state of Texas. It was the post-McWilliams John Mackovic era of mediocrity, and aggy for the most part had owned the Longhorns’ number, and so when they kicked our ass that game, it seemed like the mentality among the Texas crowd was, “Yeah, seems about right.”
  5. It was the thoughts, not the prayers.
  6. aggy didn’t lose, they just ran out of unconsciousness.
  7. I tell you what, you get a dog, and you have no trouble getting your steps in. 15,000 steps yesterday, which was our first full day with Ned. I know it won’t be like that on many non-holiday weekdays, but he flat wore me out.
  8. Gunnar Helm will be in his bunk.
  9. I can see that. I think the ending is great without that last bit in the original script. Neal doesn’t need to hear the whole backstory. He finally feels empathy and just knows he needs to give Del a home for Thanksgiving.
  10. Sark is reportedly installing a herp derp package for Arch Manning.
  11. Maybe this site isn’t for you.
  12. You might say he’s nothing but a hound dog, crying all the time. (He’s really a sweet and good boy, just missing his foster mom and siblings, so we’re being patient and loving during this big transition.) IMG_0223.mov
  13. Antlers for dogs – yay or nay? I’ve read mixed reviews, including one that says most vets advise against them. But our new dog’s foster mom who seems to know her stuff recommended one for when he’s in his crate.
  14. Oh I know. I also went to Ned Reyerson when I found out the dog’s name but not those of his siblings.
  15. South Austin is entering the chat. This is Ned. He’s an 11-month-old hound/husky mix. He’s also a street dog rescued from a storm drain with two of his litter mates, Lucky and Dusty (this is true, and you know the movie reference). He’s been with an incredible foster mom/trainer for the last few months, and today we adopt him into our family. It was sort of impulsive on my part after giving my wife and stepdaughter the whole “we’re not ready for a dog just yet” this past year. But all I can say is that I just felt this call.
  16. This is tremendous.
  17. I once saw a picture of a castle.
