  3. A buddy of mine is going to have his boat back from post-Harvey repairs soon and is itching to get out and fish. Right now we are talking Trinity Bay or Rockport. Trinity Bay because it's close as hell and has some spots with good structure. Rockport because it''s a lot prettier (especially Copano Bay) and he's got a place about 200 yards from the public boat launch.

He's got a big enough boat to have 5 or so on it. Anyone know the good spots or cheap guides we could use? We wouldn't need any of their boats or equipment, just their expertise.

  4. Can't pick one. Looking through my ticket stubs, these stand out for me.

The Tabernacle in Atlanta is charming AF and I saw the greatest Willie show there around 2000.

    Red Rocks fo sho.

The House of Blues are all corporate and live nation and shit but they all have great sound systems and are well designed. Been to the one in Houston, NOLA, and Chicago.

Seeing the Black Crowes at the Lauberge in Lake Charles was the shit. It was like an outdoor beach party with a lazy river and stuff.

My favorite tried and true venue is probably the Continental Club in Austin.

And one more - usually Jones Hall doesn't get rock shows but I saw David Byrne play there and it was amazing. Then I saw him play at the Hobby Center. His shows were so tightly choreographed with dancers and props and other silliness, it just made sense to put them in performance halls.

  5. Just wanted to check in and reaffirm that I am enjoying this immensely.

“Now understand,” Hannity continued, “Cohen was never part of the Trump administration, or the Trump campaign. This is now officially an all-hands-on-deck effort to totally malign and, if possible, impeach the president of the United States. Mueller and Rosenstein have declared a legal war on the president, and a source close to the president is telling Fox News tonight that Mueller’s investigation is way out of control.”

What is he going to jail for?  Being a liar on tv is not illegal.

Our president is case in point on that.

If Hannity gets charged with a real deal crime, I think it will have to do with Assange.

Hey man, I'm just repeating the facts of the nature of the political parties that run our system of "democracy". We are told that they are private organizations and can run their primary process in whatever way they see fit, esp when that involves keeping a finger on the scale.  And we got to eat the shit sandwich cause...well, I'm not completely sure why...other than something about challenging status quo of the entrenched two party system resulting in chaos, death and destruction.

Our system blows, I'll heartily agree with you there. If we had a proportional representation system we'd be so much better off. Our country is too fucking big for winner take all.

The DNC and the RNC are private organizations and can run the complete capture of our democracy as they see fit.

    Both sides?

DNC gave you Carter, Clinton, and Obama.

RNC gave you Nixon, Reagan, Bush I, Bush II, and Trump.

If you subtract Nixon, I think the combined IQ of the DNC offerings is higher than the four RNC offerings.

P.S. The smartest person the Republicans elected in the last 50 years resigned in disgrace.

  9. Need a Houston area body shop that can replace a door and hopefully buff out about 2-5 inches of a scratch on the other door. It's a relatively new Ford model so most shops should be able to handle in 2-3 days. Any recommendations would be great.

I'm going out of pocket so this is gonna suck.

  10. LOL at anyone spinning fables out of one side of their mouth and then using science for literally everything else in their lives.

People who believe in hell should live their lives in accordance with Leviticus and Deuteronomy. Be fucking consistent.

And don’t go to a hospital when your child gets sick; be a real Christian and pray your child to wellness. Leave that hospital bed open for us hell bound sinners that believe in science.

  11. Sean Hannity, Donald Trump, Michael Cohen, Roy Cohn, Julian Assange, Roger Stone:

Peas in a fucking pod. I can't listen to any of them without wanting to take a shower.

I honestly think Roy Cohn might be the best of the bunch.
