  1. Yes, based on the english translation accompanying the video, the RU is triaging the situation and trying to save who they can, while also questioning wtf happened, nothing super intelligle , but you can tell they are shell shocked and there are soldiers from different units, so they dont all know each other. Thats what i could infer.
  2. Blue is going to show out Saturday night. He's got an incredible opportunity to take the RB position by storm this closing stretch. He reminds me of Selvin Young; runs low to the ground, absorbs contact well, bounces it when needed, great instincts. CANNOT WAIT to see this young bull run hard and for Tashard Choice to be rewarded for keeping his head in the game during this long season
  3. Thanks Ill take it over to Hobbies. Thought it was weird not to find anything ski trip related on Travel @immamac feel free to move this over to Hobbies, my bad.
  4. Didnt realize this thread existed, been looking for it on Travel board. After 5 years at Park City and DV, taking my clan to Breckenridge. Staying at the base of lowest 4 O'clock run. SKi in. We have been to Vail, Keystone, Steamboat and Purgatory (not sure if its Duango or if its back to Purg.) , so just curious about anyone's opinion of Breck, tips, do's or dont's
  5. Heading to Breckenridge Week between Christmas and New Years. Wife wants to try CO after many years in Park City and DV. Any hacks for a first timer to Breck? We’ve skied all over CO, just never Breckenridge We’re staying in a condo off lowest 4 O’clock run. Dinner reservations so far at Hearthstone and Blue River Bistro.
  6. I think that has more to do with him being 18 and playing against grown ass men for the first time in his career. A little different at this level and it takes some time.
  7. You think Brooks is JAG? Dude you are drunk on the voodoo juice
  8. Rocky Bleier isn't walking through that door for the Rooskies. Not the same, not even close.
  9. Aggies never cease to amaze me; 10-15 , that was his record as a starter.
  10. Baxter, Blue and K-Rob. Time for the guys to step up. Im glad Blue didnt go through with transferring. He is the fastest of the trio, need to get him in space. Would like to see what he does in the screen game. Baxter seems to dance to the line a bit, but i know he's young. We're going to need him to carry the load between the tackles.
  11. Let me see if i can find the link to the radio show. it was on the sunday morning CFB show with Tom Luginbill (sp) edit: adding show schedule, re-air at 6pm central this evening, Luicci came on at top of the hour iirc, if you have XM
  12. That’s what luicci said on the radio but who knows how much credibility he has.
  13. Paraphrasing , he said big cigars not involved in buyout, 100% admin driven. Big cigars are tapped out after all the expansion expenses. He expects the donors to pony up for baseball field so this one is on the school. Feels like the sucking of the football program is due to uncertainty /turnover at the AD and president level. Said losing Ad to lsu was a big loss for jumbo. Compared stoops , saban (at lsu) and Mack to the Bermuda Triangle that ultimately doomed RC, felt like they were getting passed up. Didn’t want that to happen again. More or less what he said. Also said a lot of nothing , he’s a dork.
  14. Luicci on the radio in 5 min for those interested. XM college sports station
  15. They need the opposite of splash. Liepold or the Duke HC is more substantive hire and that’s what they need
  16. My gut tells me he is one more pick away from riding the pine, especially if it happens before anything good.
  17. Yeah Red's ball control at the snap is terrible. IIRC he has bobbled a number of wildcat snaps and of course the disastrous 4th down play. I was keying in on JT abd the play was there as the outside contain crashed down. The quick pitch we were more successful than not , though the 3rd down to Baxter got blown up. I think in that instance , Blue is a better option, as he has more wiggle and overall speed. We have been playing with fire and TCU on the road is not one to be fucking around.
  18. We're not asking MM to be VY reincarnate, but he needs to run the damn ball. This was the play he threw the pick into coverage and Cook slipped. 2nd and 3, he communicates with the right tackle picks up a blocker, could have been something there. Nitpicking here, but he needs to have better situational awareness there and protect the damn ball
  19. You get to count 1 per season. So in the event an FBS team plays 2 of those cupcakes, maybe say if there was a cancellation and someone had to schedule a filler, you could only count 1 toward eligibility. I seem to recall it happening before, but its rare.
  20. Flying home now. Outstanding weekend in Austin. Had about a dozen fraternity brothers in town. Gameday was great, my nuts were splitting the 45. Section 29 row 39, great seats. I come in for one game a year, no Mrs Jdhorn with me this year (sorry no pics assholes) , last year TCU and OSU the year before that, so i was due for a W. Started to get hot by hafltime as the haze/fog was burning off. Noice was manageable, i miss "quarter" and the slippery rock score. Bathroom lines moved well, food line was not bad, watched the Taffee Int on CCTV waiting for food. Zero line getting in stadium right at 11am on East Side, i had to do a double take, no line at all. Figured the FOx 11 Am game would kick at 11:20 , nope went off at about 5-10 after top of the hour. We had a great time besides the heart attack! Joined up with another group after the game in the White tent tailgate area by LBJ, perfect way to end an awesome afternoon. Got back to JW in time to lay down and see OU get beat before heading to Eberle for dinner. Hookem!
  21. They called one at very opportune time for us and would have set up 3rd and 20, but we roughed the qb dead ball and auto first dowm, despite the holding call being enforced. IIRC that was the game tying td drive
  22. I know Neon, I know. It's brutal, i wish I could. I don't have a deep enough religious background to explain or articulate that one. I have three kids of my own and couldn't imagine squaring that diagnosis with a good and just God. The pat answer is God has a reason for everything he does.
  23. You should expand your thinking. I think you are parroting old stereotypes. Those towns you mentioned are not exactly bastions of liberal progressive thinking. They share a lot more in common with B'ham than you realize. Id give Bham shot if i were you though. Its not like you have tons of time in between games. Judging from your comments, you strike me as someone who has a bit of wanderlust. Huntsville,AL is a great city, very friendly and progressive and has an incredible Space Industry and museum, its appx. an hour or so from there. That part of AL has a lot more topographical change than the flat beaches of lower AL. If you like hiking, there is plenty to do with your kids in the downtime. Tuscaloosa is down the road less than an hour. 2/3 of the last several incoming Freshmen classes at Bama are from out of state, so something is drawing them to AL. I'm certainly no AL apologist, but I likely have a good many years on you and have worked in the Southeast for 25 years. I would encourage you to expand your thinking a bit on AL and the south in general. There is racism everywhere and AL has a storied reputation no doubt, but you may give it a chance, we'll all be getting a heavy dose of the south as new SEC members and I think we all may be surprised what we find.
