  1. Dude this is surly world..we're still bitching on the Saul thread whether Skylar was a bitchy wife or not.
  2. Railwayman. Older (10 years maybe) WW2 flick set in Coastal UK, with Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman (who I generally like...Lion, Big Little Lies etc..). Its a two-timeline story of a Brittish Battalion taken capture in the South Pacific, tortured, forced labor etc...the main plot is Firth's character dealing with the PTSD of the prisoner trauma. Pretty good and worth the watch, couple twists or two and based on a true story , which I wasnt aware of at viewing.
  3. added drool, now he's got 5.
  4. Yeah, but he kind of had the shits handed to him; the big C, missed out on millions from the startup company, has a bitch for a wife, dead end job teaching Chemistry, a BIL who busts balls, he drives a Pontiac Aztec and on and on.
  5. Fuck yeah bookend the line with both of those guys. Leonard Davis did just fine starting as FR. Banks has every bit of potential as big Leonard. Situationally, roll a real TE to one side or the other and I'd be just fine with that. Its not ideal , I get it, but Id be happy with both of those studs out there
  6. Where is the rail line where the video came from? I dont see a rail line near that depot and the earlier post upthread showed a video of the cache right next to it.
  7. Savion Red too, though not a TE.
  8. Trump was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple. Rules dont apply to him, he shuns authority, follows no norms of protocol. Being president was a business to him and his equally deplorable family. He kept those files as an asset he planned on selling to the highest bidder. Bring the harshest possible charges on him and his surrogates. IF he indeed had classified secure national security information on that property, I hope he pays dearly. My fear is we will see more domestic terrorism as a result. The only way to avoid that is for the rats to start fleeing the drowning ship, but i suppose the Ted Cruz, Marjorie Green, Gaetz types etc.. are so far down that path we will not see it.
  9. that or I need to spend a lot of time in the confessional.
  10. I could see it. Is Sandra, Howard's wife?
  11. Older fraternity brother of mine passed his "Clergy" prop to me when he graduated. Had the black shirt and collar on my front seat for a couple years as a prop. The Clergy tent-card label stayed on my front dashboard, parked anywhere i wanted for a couple years. No tickets. Kind of looked like this but think tent card vs hang tag. csb
  12. I fly through ATL every week, I often pass on the plane train to walk those halls as well, pretty cool. The wall of Civil Rights and the faux rain forest are two of my favorites. I agree, BHB is not the same. I used to eat at the bar quite frequently, always a great vibe. ATL is the best airport in the country. The piano bar in the food court in Terminal E (iirc its E) is a great spot and the international terminal F is outstanding too, great Delta Sky club there as well.
  13. What are we to infer from Kim staring at the young female lawyer fixing her client's tie? Is that Kim reflecting back on who she used to be (that ambitious, righteous lawyer helping the underserved)? With one episode to go, I cannot see her coming back to defend Saul, not enough time to build that up and I think she's done with Jimmy/Saul. I think that is just a reflection of who she was in her past life. No way she goes back in to law, right? Howard's wife, while she may not have the stamina to go through a long legal process to fight vs Kim, she certainly wouldn't sit idle as she sees Kim try to get back her law license.
  14. Mash ending was pretty good too.
  15. Oh gotcha, I must have missed it
  16. Jimmy really broke dark. Great episode. I thought he was going to strangle Marion. I suppose another call to the vacuum repairman is the only option at this point, if it’s not too late.
  17. Yeah I agree. China is a lot smarter than Rooskie. A depleted , worthless rooskie army needing billions in future armaments is a what they call in the insurance biz as a premium rich environment. They want rooskie as depleted as possible, while still maintaining a facade of friendship , as possible.
  18. Good one. For sure could see that happening. Gene undone by his own doing.
  19. Maybe she tried going slippin' Jimmy on her own and without her compadre, she got nabbed. Jimmy reacts to hearing she's in jail by beating the phone booth to death. The money he is trying to stack is to free her from having to go down that path and is hoping to make it to FL (of course its FL b/c well, its FL). Hell if i know.
  20. Can you help me recall...why or what led Walt to Saul? Was Saul their conduit to laundering money, hiding money etc..under the ruse of Saul being a lawyer? I dont recall how that relationship came to be. And for that matter, was it Mike who turned Walt on to Saul in the first place (through their connection at the courthouse)?
  21. I think Saul/Jimmy has to get caught / hit bottom for Kim to take him back (as she will know he can’t break bad anymore, once he’s gone to Jail)
  22. Yeah I agree with your take. All the handwringing over a lost episode, tying up loose ends, terrible one-off story line, etc..is likely not to age very well. IMO, Carol Burnette isnt coming out of retirement for a few scenes. I think she will play a bigger role in Saul's fate as the series winds down. The juxtaposition of her character's personality, as you noted, was not lost on me either. I can see her having a larger role/knowing more about Saul true identity and her son's shenanigans
