  1. Thank you. Had to do a double take when I saw T. Smith on the jersey.
  2. One of the very few downsides of the Texas to SEC is no TV for ULM game. In the Big12 we were THE TV draw. I can’t recall a game on a random channel like next week’s game. In SEC, while still a huge draw, we are relegated to essentially a PPV.
  3. What position is Ty Anthony ? I was struck by how small he looked. I thought he was a LB size. Could be misremembering
  4. Wasn’t sure where to post this. My take on Sark. One of the most satisfying thing to see with Sarks Offense is the ability to get the ball into space and a ton of one on ones to our playmakers. Thinking back over the years , even back to GDGD, we have never seen our speed guys in space like we are seeing now that Sark has the team offensive speed like he has now. All the throws to the backs are majority guys catching the ball in front of them and moving forward. The screen game is amazing, the reverses , throws to TE, the scheming is outstanding and allows our guys to make plays. one thing we have not done all this year , and I can’t say im Disappointed, is the long horizontal throw to a WR standing still. Seems like a high % throw but it’s almost entirely based on one or 2 WR blocks to be successful. x housed it a couple years ago but it’s such a low % play. Ramonce, DJ Monroe , daje, all had speed but I don’t recall our OC ever maximizing the speed advantage like Sark. OU under all those exceptional OC’s ate our lunch with it in Dallas. How many times did their rb catch the ball in the flat and have a one on one. They killed us on short 3rd down and Distance nice to see this on our side

  6. I dont follow LSU much, but i recall him having a monster Fr year and dropped off big time last year. Wonder how hes done through 2 games this year?
  7. More than 'seems'. We forced a punt and had the ball. We were an Elway drive away from winning the title with a back up who had nothing more than mop up duty on his resume. I think you debunked your own argument. Even with relatively no game experience he did aok all things considered. Take away the flukey shovel pass pick 6 and we have the lead and the ball. Lets look at the opposite of your argument. Saturday, we were one more drive away from getting what you wanted and it didnt work out. I think you are obsessing over something only you are concerned about. He got snaps in game 1 and will likely get more the next couple weeks. Nothing about his tone and temperament suggests he's upset about PT. You may be the new Derka.
  8. No doubt. I really thought Blue was hurt bad. When he caught the swing pass and turned on the jets while putting the juke on the DB, I was amazed. The speed of all the backs is tremendous. I was watching the game with a Bama homer and he commented on our missing piece being the running backs, I about fell out. He obviously was drunk at noon.
  9. yeah I tried to edit after i typed it, senior moment. Unless there is total chaos, they arent making the playoffs. Initially i was thinking 5 vs 12, but even with their home schedule, they likley are on the outside looking in Ark St W, USC L , Minn W, @UW W, @ILL W, MSU W, Ore toss up with Ducks non existent Offense, @IU L, NW W, tOSU L...8-4 is Holiday Bowl
  10. Plus people are forgetting UM has 8 home games this year. I know I know we neutered them in the big house, but 8 home games is kind of big variable. I see them at 9-3. We may see them again.
  11. Thousands consequently millions of reasons Prime’s a 2 and Q coach in Boulder.
  12. That escalated quick. Who knew Target talk was so triggering.
  13. Trey Wisner giving me Jbrooks feelz. Really similar running styles. I hate to say slasher b/c both guys run physical ; both have that lean to them, fast but not Jamal Charles fast, for sure ‘running back ‘ fast. Hard to articulate but man are they similar. The play in 2nd quarter where we ran left, really looked like UM had him stopped at LOS and bam 8 yards fitting through a narrow sliver of a hole.
  14. Javier? Damn bro. Jiggy-Z got a thing for J's. Fucked around and got a triple double.
  15. Michigan has 8 home games this year. Must be nice. 5 in a row to start the season.
  16. Gothca, he certainly has a type. Although she seemed to be directing him immediate post game, maybe that lady was staff.
  17. She was on the field with Sark after the game.
  18. Agreed and as good as the O played, we left some points and yards out there with the one holding and numerous false starts.
  19. DL answered the bell. Outstanding game. The entire unit is nails. Portal additions played well. Young guns on the edge have arrived.
  20. LJ Johnson SMU running back mention. Didnt we want him at one point?
  21. I agree with you. I put the Russians more in the opportunistic column more than the "they started WWII" column.
  22. For some reason, this game reminds me of our 2nd game of the 2006 season, the year after we won the NC vs USC. The following season we played tOSU in Austin. We had an inexperienced QB named Colt Mccoy and a solid defending Championship team full of future NFL players. We played the buckeyes tough, but ended up losing by by 3 scores. I recall a fumble on the goal line that certainly would have helped and 2 int's. In the scenario this year, we would be playing the role of the Buckeyes and Michigan Texas. Much more experienced team with an equal roster full of veterans. On that day, OSU didnt turn the ball over and ground out a nice win on the road. I can see this game going similarly if our veterans do what they are supposed to do. Play heady football, get through the 1st half and put it away in the 2nd half
  23. 14 year old shooter per CNN
  24. My take is this secondary is closer to Ross, Griffin brothers, Earl etc.. than it is the secondaries that turned all of those Group of 5 qbs like UH, UTSA et al in to studs for one day. I could be wrong , but this secondary has more Huffs than BJ Foster (thank you for Sugar Bowl caused fumble) and Chris Adimoras
