  1. Agreed and as good as the O played, we left some points and yards out there with the one holding and numerous false starts.
  2. DL answered the bell. Outstanding game. The entire unit is nails. Portal additions played well. Young guns on the edge have arrived.
  3. LJ Johnson SMU running back mention. Didnt we want him at one point?
  4. I agree with you. I put the Russians more in the opportunistic column more than the "they started WWII" column.
  5. For some reason, this game reminds me of our 2nd game of the 2006 season, the year after we won the NC vs USC. The following season we played tOSU in Austin. We had an inexperienced QB named Colt Mccoy and a solid defending Championship team full of future NFL players. We played the buckeyes tough, but ended up losing by by 3 scores. I recall a fumble on the goal line that certainly would have helped and 2 int's. In the scenario this year, we would be playing the role of the Buckeyes and Michigan Texas. Much more experienced team with an equal roster full of veterans. On that day, OSU didnt turn the ball over and ground out a nice win on the road. I can see this game going similarly if our veterans do what they are supposed to do. Play heady football, get through the 1st half and put it away in the 2nd half
  6. 14 year old shooter per CNN
  7. My take is this secondary is closer to Ross, Griffin brothers, Earl etc.. than it is the secondaries that turned all of those Group of 5 qbs like UH, UTSA et al in to studs for one day. I could be wrong , but this secondary has more Huffs than BJ Foster (thank you for Sugar Bowl caused fumble) and Chris Adimoras
  8. We're still in the AT&T Uverse ecosystem. Bit of pain in the ass but Roku saved me for last night's game. Its portable and easy to move, so I also can set it up for my outside older TV. Shit, i bring it on vacation sometimes too. Roku had the game on ESPN no problem. I think it was $40, so i set it up on bedroom TV years ago and we can get all the channels. Still using an older Sony in the master (can I say that?) so we bought the devise....should be good for the UTSA game in a couple weeks. More importantly, how are we to watch the ULM game? Its on SECN+ so im guessing pay per view or temporary sub will be required.

We may look back on the Jordan Travis knee injury like Colt's shoulder in terms of the trajectory of a program defining loss.

Max it’s on you tube. You likely use the Roku to grab it in English.
  11. Elko looked like a goob all night. Not a great look. At the very end , my take on him yelling at the. OC “…run the ball..” was to tell CW to take the huge yardage ND was giving him when he was flushed and threw errantly out of bounds on the last drive. Not ‘run the ball’ like we’re waving the white flag. Of course, we all know they weren’t going to score 13 points in 40 seconds or whatever. Then the OC calls a running play on the very next snap and it’s ballgame. They were all fucked up by that point, but I think Elko was saying take the scramble yardage. Could be wrong. They also should have punted with 94 seconds left down 7 and all 3 time outs. Keep it a one score game and get the ball back. ND would have sat on it pinned back deep.
  12. I hung with one for awhile circa '90 and that was a tough bunch back then.
  13. Cant speak too specifically to Deer Valley but have been to Park City 5 of the last 6 years (went to Breck last year). We usually carve out a day for DV and its fucking sweet. As I understand it, they limit the # of lift tickets, so it has an exclusive feel. Plus no snowboarding, so it automatically weeds out a lot of people. There are 4-5 top resorts on property (Montage et al level quality). While we have not stayed on DV proper, we have ventured to the Montage and you cant really go wrong with any of them. They have a great bar and lobby. We typically stay near the Town Lift in PC so we can ski in ski out... several of the hotels on DV mountain afford the same convenience, ski valet, etc. Our friends rented a house in DV on the loop that leads to the mountain and with one call, they send a suburban to pick you up , very nice perk. They are basically on call for you to and from mountain, Park City, grocery etc... The ski schools are top notch, very good with kids according to our friends. I may be off here, but if Park City is like skiing a country club, DV felt like the Masters. IMO its several cuts above PC. One of things that has drawn us to this area is the proximity to SLC airport. You really dont need a car to ski this area. 45 minute uber if you choose to not rent a car.
  14. This game is far from a walk in the park.
  15. I know I know, i was pulling a Saban. He called them Memphis St on gameday and X went nuts with all the olds giving him props
  16. They ran away, she'll be fine once cooler heads prevail. They both signed the note (see the plus sign under his name?) regarding skipping town and then he added "see you on the other side" as a footnote...just my take. Ditched the phones, likley on drugs/bender.
  17. Schedule reads weird...right, then down left, then right again etc.... BC is next game then a bye before Memphis St and Keith Lee, Baskerville Homes et al come to Tally.
  18. Not odd at all, as the car was picked up on surveillance (toll booth?) in Colorado, it was not at the new apartment after the night of the disappearance. ***MORE UPDATE All we know about the car is that it went through a reader in colorado on 1-25 Friday evening Unless you are referring to the property manager's car, the post upthread said the vehicle was already spotted in CO.
  19. agreed. i passed on those in op...Allen Edmonds and several other have better options and a lot less
