  1. Just finished S6. Solid show. If I had a year, I still wouldn’t be able to build a shelter half as nice as the one Woniya built.
  2. Thread should be titled the ‘James Ayala Innovational’. I wonder what our sweet prince it up to these days? Last I heard, he popped up somewhere in the Phoenix area. And it doesn’t matter how many tens of thousand of posts this thread hopefully ultimately contains, nothing will ever ever top Ms. Monica Vargas.
  3. FF don’t count when it rains three days in a row in most of Austin despite there being a zero percent chance of rain on at least two of those days. Take the win for what is historically Austin’s hottest and driest week of the year.
  4. Not that this was ever headed in the right direction anyway but the past 3-4 days have not been a positive one for the hopes of a 2020 season.
  5. Got damn that interview is infuriating. Look at the graphs Trump breaks out. Huge blocks seemingly filled in with his favorite crayon colors, most with only three or four reference points, yet you can tell he still has trouble grasping the information. Shocking. Even for him.
  6. This cell is so odd. Seemingly didn’t exist 15 mins ago.
  7. Dayum. Some of the best pancakes in the city. Hopefully they’ll be open Sunday when I stop by to grab some.
  8. He really is a waste of space. Am I doing it right?
  9. 2016: “I’m voting for him because he says what he means!” The next four years: “He didn’t really mean what he said!”
  10. Playing a few games in the fall only to have to delay it until the spring or cancel outright leads to hundreds or questions regarding redshirting, players opting out of a season for the draft, players who don't want to risk injury in a shortened spring only to turn around and play again in the fall, recruiting and contacting of recruits in an already arcane system, roster sizes, etc. I can't even fathom what a nightmare that would become. But I'm sure the NCAA has their top guys working on the matter.
  11. His long, drawn out pauses mid-sentence seemingly to grasp for a big word only to come up with one of his usual nine adjectives will never stop being funny.
  12. This fall is going to be so damn depressing.
  13. Movie theater are clearly going to survive because the #1 thing people are going to want to do once we have this COVID thing under wraps is sit inside a fucking confined room with 250 strangers for three+ hours!
  14. The Garmin Christmas commercials from about ten years ago were some of the best ever created.
  15. Admittedly, I didn’t know much about him at the time but I found Pat McAfee’s appearances on CGD last season to be obnoxious. But I started listening to his radio show a few weeks back and he’s pretty damn good at what he does. Definitely a fan now.
  16. I often wonder what that move did to him irl. Like, does he carry it with him every waking moment as some sort of scarlet letter as he walks the streets of the real world hoping beyond hope some internet sleuths don’t dox him, or is it just a distant, all but forgotten memory from his internet posting days on a website he barely remembers?
  17. Gotdam, this thread has taken a turn towards suck the past page. More football, less bitching please.
  18. I mayyyyy be going out on a bit of a limb here, but I’d suspect that hard Avatar 5 release date could be subject to change between now and then.
  19. I have nothing to add other than I listened to Peter Schiff’s latest interview on Rogan this weekend and I feel more down than ever now.
  20. Hopefully more movies go the way of Greyhound and continue to get picked up. I haven’t seen any numbers but surely that’s been a huge hit for Apple+.
  21. It's pretty fascinating how quiet the NFL has been quiet during all of this. With the exception of the NBA playoffs, the NFL dominates the sports talk even during the summer months despite there not ever being anything of real substance. Aside from some Brady and Dak talk last month things have been strangely silent. Even the cancelling of the HOF game was done in a manner which seemed like the league was trying to keep it as hush-hush as possible. No comment or talk of player bubbles, fan attendance guidelines, delaying of a season, scheduling contingencies, etc. Nada. Nothing. The NBA offered more on their 'snitch hotline' than the NFL has put out on everything else combined. It's all been really weird.
