  1. Damn it. You’re supposed to tell us before this shit happens.
  2. Whazzup with that? I thought aggy was all about turdition.
  3. Walton was the best all around center I’ve seen at the college level and he was on his way to making that same mark in the NBA before the foot injuries derailed his career. Scoring, rebounding, passing, and blocking shots. When he was healthy there was nobody better.
  4. I was reticent about sharing my addiction with alcohol, but confession is good for the soul and I’d read enough on this thread to know most or all of you have been where I am. I’ve quit alcohol several times only to relapse. However, the abuse was nothing near the descent of this most recent episode which began in mid-September of last year. I feel pretty good today and we’ll see if that trajectory continues. Thanks to each of you who has offered help. I know you’re there for me if I need you. One day at a time, sweet Jesus. One day at a time.
  5. Thank you for your offer of support and don’t be surprised if you hear from me. My doctor said I’m going through a washing out period and the alcohol cravings could return bigly in 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. In the evening, automatically, I want to reach for the bottle….,but I also want to stay alive. I’m embarrassed and ashamed for keeping this from my wife who has been >extremely< understanding since Saturday. Now, she wakes up in the middle of the night and reaches over to touch me to make sure I’m not out of bed and drinking (and I’m cognizant enough now to feel that). This morning, she asked where I was keeping the bottles because she had looked all over the house and couldn’t find them. As it played out, I killed the last bottle before ending up in the ER. I have to regain her trust and will do whatever I need to do to make that happen.
  6. I’ve been drinking a lot on top of taking Lunesta and that combination put me in the ER Saturday morning as I was unresponsive when my wife tried to wake me. So, per the ER doctor and my PCP no more sleeping pills and no more alcohol. I’ve used alcohol as a crutch to deal with chronic pain and as a sedative allowing me to sleep. Then, I’d wake up in the middle of the night, unable to get back to sleep unless I drank more. My blood alcohol level in the ER was .345. Something like this had to happen forcing me to modify my behavior, so I don’t wake up dead. My blood alcohol level in the ER was .345. I knew this day of reckoning would come. I’m just glad I’m alive to see it.
  7. Live by the sword. Die by the helicopter.
  8. I believe that commercial was purchased by Red Chip. So, who’s Red Chip? (Copy & paste) RedChip is the world leader in investor relations, financial media, and research for microcap and small-cap stocks. 9. C’mon now. AMYZF has no debt and $13.58 million in cash which is more than enough to get them through the JV with Zenith. There’s nothing wrong with their science or process. As you are probably aware, EV demand has taken a hit as public acceptance has slowed. It seems hybrids are more popular than pure EV’s. AMY just needs EV demand to increase to make battery materials go up in value. Once their JV is finished and they begin selling some product, AMY will receive a royalty on sold recovered/recycled material. However, until EV demand increases, this is dead money and the sp will stay at around $.11. Holding 125,000 shares of AMYZF at $.91.
  10. Whatever Cleveland does with Mitchell will be the wrong thing. We’re talking about Cleveland…where paint chips are a basic good group.
  11. Im actually enjoying a stress free frame of mind so far knowing the Astros are probably entering a rebuilding era by seasons end. The biggest disappointment has been Hader. The cash spent on him could have kept Neris, Maton, and Stanek with plenty left over. Am not thrilled with the GM or the field manager who had no managing experience prior to this season. It’s one of those “I don’t give a shit” seasons….which we haven’t had in some time.
  12. Unfortunately for Marvin, his pops listened to “I Heard It Through The Carbine”.
  13. You gots to mention Trey Moore, Justice Finkley, Colin Simmons and Colton Vasek in the EDGE equation as well. This may be the deepest we’ve been at EDGE in my lifetime and I’m old. How old? Well, when you’re a teenager and someone falls, it’s the funniest shit ever. Now, it’s depressing.
  14. Skowronek was the Rams special teams captain last season.
  15. They wouldn’t have us playing like shit. And the bigger, brighter picture wound be the long term potential for the organization. We really fucking need their help.
  16. We need to bring back Luhnow and Hinch.
  17. I could be wrong. If PSS doesn’t sell the company, in that case, we’re on the ground floor of the next big pharma company.
  18. It wouldn’t shock me if Joe Espada got axed by the All-Star break if things don’t turn around in a big way. The team is playing bad, unmotivated baseball and that’s on the manager.
  19. Short term, there’s a distinct possibility of a seismic short squeeze to propel the sp of IBRX much higher. Long term, Patrick Soon-Shiong sells IBRX to Merck, BMS, or Roche in 2024, 2025, or 2026 at a value reflecting a sp of $50+. They all have patent cliffs coming real soon with Keytruda, Opdivo, and Tecentriq, respectively. Now, you can add Anktiva to their drug to extend the benefit and extending the runways of their drugs until Anktiva’s patent cliff in 2035. Plus, the only way Patrick Soon-Shiong maximizes Anktiva is by selling to Big Pharma enabling sales in China, Japan, and the rest of world, not just the handful of markets they had on that slide in last Friday’s presentation. And Patrick Soon-Shiong is 71 years old. Would you like to try and put together a global sales force at 71?
