  1. From KBTX-TV reporter, Rusty Surette… 🚨PRISON PROTEST: The Brazos Valley Community Coalition hosted a protest Saturday along Texas Avenue and outside the women's federal prison. 📢Participants were protesting the transfer of Jeffrey Epstein's accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, to Bryan, TX. They’re concerned about the decision to house the child predator at what’s considered a minimum-security “comfort prison” and are calling for more transparency from the government. 📌Another note: I've attempted several times over the past week to confirm reporting on the internet that Ghislaine has been allowed work release from the prison, but my multiple messages to the Federal Bureau of Prisons were never answered.
  2. The science behind AMY’s battery recycling technology makes sense or so I’ve been told.
  3. In the past week, AMYZF went from .05 to .09.
  4. Did you hear the one about the pitcher who was 0-6 and had an ERA of almost 7.00 and decided to pitch his guts out with a complete game and a no-no? Not. Funny. At. All.
  5. ONDS +.22 to 4.15. Nice call.
  6. In for 3600 shares of UURAF @ 2.11.
  7. 77 million shares sold short. 10.5 days to cover.
  8. Dear Lord, Thank you for this win and please send Neris somewhere else. Your humble, grateful, benevolent servant, Harrison.
  9. I’m *NOT* going to do that. Whoops.
  10. If I preferred an Arby’s Half Pound Beef ‘n Cheddar or an order of Chicken McNuggets instead of a Double Quarter Pounder w/cheese once a month, my wife wouldn’t bat an eye. As a treat, she thinks fast food is fine. I have some blockage in the LAD artery and my diet is so damn healthy (salmon, walnuts, oatmeal, blueberries, broccoli, spinach, apples, beans, quinoa, avocados, et al) that I will hit the wall and need a freaking break from my well-balanced diet and that’s when the Double Quarter Pounder w/cheese comes to the rescue. If I ate that hamburger more often I wouldn’t appreciate it as much. As long as the rest of your diet is solid, you could probably cheat once a week instead of once a month. Now, I’m going to do that, but, hopefully, your arteries are clean and you haven’t reached the point in your life where you have a cardiologist.
  11. Careful. I’ll raise your rent.
  12. Correct. The McDonald’s that’s five minutes away from our house has a special 8 ounce cup for seniors for $.80 and comes with unlimited free refills.
  13. So, I just posed the question to my wife regarding her aversion to Arby’s and her beef is with Arby’s roast beef. She started talking about the meat structure, phosphates, blah, blah, blah…..and I spent the rest of the conversation fantasizing…..until the end when she compared Arby’s roast beef to McDonald’s chicken nuggets. She won’t eat those either. Having said all this, she’s cool with me getting a McDonald’s double quarter pounder with cheese >once< a month as a treat. Eating that burger is glorious. Her take is it’s okay to indulge from time to time, but if it becomes a mainstay, you’re on your way to a heart attack ack-ack-ack-ack-ack. Regarding McDonald’s coffee, as a senior (55+) you get a small cup of Joe (I think it’s 8 ozs) for less than a dollar with free refills. If you don’t qualify as a senior and/or you prefer a larger coffee, 12 ozs/small, 16 ozs/medium, or 20 ozs/large, download the McDonald’s app as they usually have an app exclusive deal of $.99 for any size premium roast or iced coffee.
  14. The wife has her Master’s in Nutrition Science and she refuses to let us eat at Arby’s. Oh, and McDonald’s has good coffee…plus, I get their senior discount.
  15. Thank you, Lord, for not letting us blow that game and, yes, I did say I’d sit in the front pew on Sunday if we won. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
  16. UUUU + 1.12 to 10.72. A 52 wk high.
  17. UUUU closes +.19 to 9.92. EOSE +.30 to 6.51.
  18. UUUU earnings Wednesday after the close. If you read their last few reports, it appears the next 6-12 months should show quite an acceleration in revenues and earnings. The second half of this year is already seeing an increase in uranium oxide and they have started producing pilot quantities of rare earths with a decision in next 12 months-ish to go to full commercial scale. By their estimates, if Energy Fuels has no issues in scale up from pilot to commercial, the quantities produced for some of the most important rare earths would amount to about 1/3 of the US demand. I expect the stock to be much higher as it becomes clear they are succeeding in ramp up. The vanadium market should go up with increase in domestic steel production, and the medical isotopes should follow. For a company with no appreciable debt and a few hundred mill in cash with the only functioning uranium mill in the US, I think their future looks bright. These catalysts are what I have been waiting for and have no plans to trade this in the short term if they continue on the plan they have put forward. If something changes, I might change my mind and do some option writing on a part of it. But with only 216 million shares outstanding, these guys could also be a takeover target for a larger entity and I would like to have my shares uncovered should that happen.
  19. UUUU closes +.88 to 9.73. EOSE +.70 to 6.21. Thank you, may I have another?
  20. 🚨ARREST UPDATE: More details re: Dalton Brooks, a football player for Texas A&M University, and his hit-and-run arrest by College Station police. The incident happened on the night of Wednesday, June 25. Police say Brooks was driving a U-Haul box truck and collided with another vehicle in the intersection of Harvey Road at Highway 6. The report says Brooks told police he briefly stopped after the crash, looked in the mirror, saw the driver of the other vehicle wasn't seriously hurt, and then "proceeded to panic" and drove away. Witnesses followed Brooks and called 911, and stayed behind the U-Haul until police arrived and stopped it. Brooks said he was trying to return the U-Haul to the business. The report says there was significant damage to the U-Haul truck, including the driver's side headlight removed and hanging by wires and the bumper was dented, and both the front driver and passener airbag was deployed. The car he allegedly hit also had significant damage. The vehicle was declared a total loss with the cost being $19,191, said the report. Police said nearby cameras captured the crash on camera, and it shows Brooks leaving the scene of the wreck after it happened. Brooks is expected to be a key contributor in the Aggies' secondary this season after playing in all 13 games while making eight starts as a sophomore in 2024, finishing second on the team with 59 tackles and ranking in the top five with 5.5 tackles for loss. He posted a career-high 10 tackles in the regular-season finale against Texas and recorded at least five stops in six different games. Brooks also had one interception. Oh, silly aggy.
  21. As we used to say back in the day, “Dick Nixon before he dicks you.”

  23. So, you’re buying more?
  24. EOSE earnings after the market closes today. Holding 15,100 shares @ 5.79.
  25. Yes, IBRX has to do an efficacy trial for each cancer. They don't have to do a Phase 1 as it is already an approved drug and getting a label expansion for Anktiva's use is a bit lower bar than a brand new drug candidate....and the Quilt trials were a test on about every major cancer that hasn't had meaningful survival improvement in the past 20 years. Their website shows you where they are on each candidate. Anktiva's use as Bio-Shield has a much lower hurdle and FDA guidance as well, and it already has been granted EAP approval. Remember, checkpoint inhibitors hit receptors on lymphocytes (T-cells) to prevent cancer cells from evading them and are often given with chemo and or radiation. That leads to lymphopenia which leads to check point failure. Anktiva regenerates lymphocytes and thus rescues checkpoint inhibitors. Patrick Soon-Shiong suggests they don't even need the checkpoint inhibitors. So, yes, you could argue as @Blotto did that big pharma (and, Merck, in particular) could certainly want Anktiva, but Patrick and affiliates control 72% of IBRX. If he doesn't want to sell, then it ain't happening as long as he’s alive. Looking at his history, he owned 80% of the biotech that came up with Abraxane which resulted in him selling for over $4 billion many years ago. One more thing regarding the Merck-ImuunityBio connection. Some cancer patients are, currently, being treated with a combination of Keytruda (Merck) and Anktiva (ImmunityBio). This combination is being explored, particularly in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have not responded to previous checkpoint inhibitor therapies. The Lung-MAP clinical trial is investigating this combination as a potential treatment option.
