  1. Nooooooo!!!! This is like the Heidi game back in the late 60’s and I watched that game too!! Nooooo!!!
  2. If I had money on this game, I’d be in cardiac arrest.
  3. Justin Jefferson’s catch is as good as the catch Stefon Diggs made earlier. Ridiculous. Again.
  4. That’s as good a catch as I’ve seen. It was a dart thrown by Josh Allen and he plucked it out of the air w/one hand. Ridiculous
  5. Mills fills me with confidence
  6. Well, well, well. Isn’t this just a fine kettle of fish?
  7. I think you’re referring to Jim Krivacs. After the NCAA discontinued the ban on dunking during a game, they kept the ban in place during warm-ups. UT was playing Mississippi State and a bulldog player dunked the ball while warming up which resulted in a two shot technical foul. Abe Lemons thought that so ridiculous he had Jim Krivacs shoot the technicals with his back to the basket. He missed both shots.
  8. It was a bullshit rule and everyone knew it was a bullshit rule. Banning the dunk did force Lew to develop the skyhook which became his trademark.
  9. You're close on the year. Lew's sophomore year was 1966-67 with UCLA going undefeated and winning the national championship with Alcindor averaging 29 ppg. As you recall, at that time, freshman players weren't allowed to play on the varsity until their sophomore year. In November '65, UCLA's freshman team led by Lew Alcindor defeated the varsity team 75–60 in the first game in the new Pauley Pavilion. Alcindor scored 31 points and had 21 rebounds in that game. That was a pretty good UCLA varsity team which was ranked #1 in the preseason. After Lew's sophomore year, the NCAA banned dunking (for 10 years) as a way to impede his dominance. The rule failed as UCLA won NCAA basketball championships in both his junior and senior years going 88-2 with Alcindor as a member of the varsity
  10. I plan to hold AMYZF until they commercialize or are bought out. The tests of their pilot plant appear to be going well. Once the plant is successful, that opens up opportunities for a JV or buyout.
  11. RVPH has moved from .69 in August closing today at 5.81. If it backs up to 4.50, I'm in.
  12. He’s not alone
  13. James Click deserves some extra credit. Played the cards he was dealt, kept the team elite, and even made them better.
  14. Lost Cole, lost Springer, lost Correa, lost the “respect” of the baseball world because of a media narrative. Yet it only brought Houston closer, stronger, with positivity and determination. This is the best team in Astros history and they deserve every bit of this title. Just as they did in 2017. What a team.
  15. WS MVP Jeremy Pena
  16. Vengeance for 1980!!!
  17. That’s where I sat in game two of the 2017 ALCS when Verlander struck out 13 Yankees and we won two to one in the bottom of the ninth. Good vibes baby. Good vibes.
  18. Georgia has the best team in the country…….again.
  19. It’s farmers fight, not farmers win. People are losing sight of what’s really important. Stupid ‘sip.
  20. Today, the ‘Stros sew up a World Series championship
  21. This is aggy. He has swine flu.
