I fucking love the bowls that have the ingredients and directions. I did a quick search on amazon and got nothing.
  3. For the legal folks, when Chad and Kyle first chest-bumped, what if Chad had a neck tattoo saying "Born To Kill", could that be a contributing factor in what Kyle's next actions should be vs no tattoo?
  4. Nice to meet a couple of you assholes out there this afternoon. Hook em.
  5. Where have all of the red baskets gone? Went to the 183/620 HEB on Friday and there were no red baskets available at the front door and nobody in the store had any, it was all push carts. So I asked an employee what happened and she said "they all walked off and they are waiting on more". Then this afternoon I had to stop by the Mopac/Parmer store for a few things and guess what? No red baskets. So again I ask an employee what happened and his reply was that they all walked away. I don't believe it. What in the hell is going on?
  6. Made a trip from Austin to Conroe to pick up my 20X36 from Lone Star Grillz. It's made of 3/16 metal and weights 395 pounds. (My buddy got the 42") After getting it seasoned, I threw on some chuck short ribs last night running 220F overnight and finished the last 40 minutes at 300F to help firm up the bark this morning. Plenty of smoke!! The Fireboard controller is programmed to have a little bit of temperature swing versus a constant temp so that it introduces more pellets when it is below setpoint.
  7. Which weekend should we attend? The third weekend is always the best.
  8. I took the new I35 NB to 183 NB flyover yesterday and look out for the bump right before you reach the old section and start to turn left. I will catch you by surprise. Glad I wasn't on a motorcycle.
  9. Any word on when the new I35 Northbound to 183 North flyover will open? I drove by today and they had the stripes painted.
  10. North Austin, 78758 the wind suddenly gusted to about 15mph and the the temp is dropping. See lightning to the North. Are our shields active?
  11. In San Pedro for the week. Sunday night we did Lobsters at Sandy Toes then we snorkeled Hol-Chan and shark ally on Monday with dinner at Elvi's. The wind was very low and the water was FLAT, great for snorkeling. Today was more snorkeling and spear fishing for lobster and fish. With 5 fish and 4 lobsters we had a big bowl of fresh chevchi before we went and hung out at cay calker. Tomorrow we're on a catamaran for a wedding and then it's Secret beach on Thursday. The Belkin's help with the sunburn. Oh and curfew is 10p but I've been in bed by 10:30 the past few nights. The sun sets and rises early here.
  12. Headed to San Pedro next week for a Friends wedding at Stella's Sunset. Any tips from the experienced? Staying at a condo provided by a friend and will have access to a golf cart and we have tentative plans to do some snorkeling, I would like to do the YOLO Caye Caulker thing. It seems like the mask requirements have been loosened on the island but I will still have to get a covid test before returning to Texas. Any other advice?
  13. Any word on the latest Covid restrictions? Just found out a friend of mine is getting married at Stella's Sunset the last week of July and I need to start making plans.

  16. December 27, 2018 10:39 PM (ABC 6 News) -- The Austin City Council Thursday approved an approximately 40 percent pay raise for council members and the mayor, the first pay increase for both in nearly two decades. The city cited a number of studies showing council member pay lagged behind comparable positions in similar-sized cities across Minnesota. As of 2016, the study said, Austin's mayor made $3,000 less than his counterpart in Albert Lea. Since 2001, council members have been paid $6,600 annually for their work; that will jump to $9,300. The council member-at-large will see a pay increase from $7,800 to $10,800 and the mayor's pay will jump from $9,000 to $12,600. Council member Laura Helle, who voted yes to the plan, said it was proposed by a number of council members who are leaving their seats next month, meaning they will not themselves see the increase. "I feel that the job that the council members and mayor do is an important job, it takes time and we want people in those elected offices to be compensated fairly," Helle said. The pay increase will take effect on January 1, 2021.

  18. I've got a Pit Boss and it has a sliding plate that will either expose the fire pot for searing or close for an indirect/smoking option. Don't think the other brands have this option.
  19. All that legal stuff just to serve cafeteria food and square fish.
  20. I know there's not much rain in the forecast but plan on going on a rainy day and there will be less people in the line.
