  1. Yep, thatā€™s the cowboy defense, all right
  2. Just having a lead tonight, def more than I expected. It feels good!
  3. Cowboys lead the series, 73-49. eagles are nothing more than a pimple on the NFLā€™s buttocks for most of their existence. They need the Cowboys, it gives them meaning, and makes them feel important. It matters not how crummy the Cowboys are, or how bad they lose to these dirty birds tonight. COWBOYS= NFL royalty. eagles, a mere postscript smudge and the bottom of the page in the long, illustrious History of the NFL. They are merely those people, worthy to be ignored.
  4. Iggles thinking how easy this will be, candy from baby easy.
  5. Gotcha. Hopefully, Sam will be 100%, and perhaps Schooler will be back. That would boost our offense.
  6. Because we know this is what Herman does. WV played about 95% of what theyā€™re capable of yesterday, and thoroughly trounced a good K-St team. But they also have a history of failing to follow up on one good win. They do play us fairly well at our place (they have 3 wins in 4 since joining Big 12-4+2).
  7. Really happy with the win. I always want Texas to win, today was sweet. If it saves Hermanā€™s job, so be it. okie state= OVERRATED
  8. Cowboys helped us all they could the 1st half, were still behind. I guess we need 7 TOā€™s to win today.
  9. Iā€™m afraid we could play our best, limit turnovers & personal fouls, Herman doesnā€™t screw things up too bad, and we still lose. A look at the stats, itā€™s an upside-down world, especially for the Cowboys: Texas total offense, #18; Okie St, #40; Texas total defense, #43; Okie St, #19. Weā€™re even better than the Cowboys in turnover margin. We already know the bad news: Texasā€™ penalties, #87 (of 101). On offense, I would feel much better if our running game wasnā€™t so spotty (#43). I realize Sam could get himself killed running too much, but we need him to do that. Their pass D has been solid (#16). We already know our pass D hasnā€™t been great (#68), yes, weā€™ve already played Okla. (#7 passing) & Tech (#24 passing). TCU (#31). I wish I could believe we get a couple of stops on D, win the turnover battle, Sam moves the chains, and we donā€™t shoot ourself in the foot with penalties. Alas, I donā€™t think this Texas team can pull it all off in one game. Obviously, I hope Iā€™m wrong.
  10. The only reason Iā€™m still watching is to see DiNucci get a 2nd completion like his first... beautiful pass it was.
  11. I donā€™t like it, but Iā€™ve accepted it. The rest of the team is where I have a problem. We can still win without a punter, if we are moving the ball without much trouble. The first year I watched the Horns, their punter was the worst in UT history (Scooter Monzingo). Texas still won the NC.
  12. Jaylen Smith, you rotten piece of garbage. Tackle him, you moron
  13. Add coaching staff, and I agree with you. Pretty dismal
  14. We lost to Baylor in Memorial, 50-7. It didnā€™t happen then. No, I do not envision a scenario where losing tomorrow gets Herman sacked immediately. Yes, a 50-7 loss might get the job done, in time. Absolutely screw baylor.
  15. Blah, blah, blah. That is way too many words to use when talking about our crappy, underachieving team. And coaches. Mostly, crappy underachieving coaches. I remember the baylor beat down from about 1989. 50-7. I never thought it could be worse than that. I think it could be the same tomorrow, and frankly, if we lose, I would rather it be 50-7 than 35-34. At least Mensa couldnā€™t talk about ā€œconsecutive losses on the last playā€, horsecrap.
