  1. The twinkies are 10 euro and the easy cheese is 7 euro?
  2. I’m not the smartest guy in the world, but I’m guessing the name is some relation to aggy and/or dead dog scoreboards who are up the road a piece. Pitmaster is or WAS head dude from Tejas?
  3. Went tonight. It was strong to quite strong. Didn’t melt my face off but I’d go back with no hesitation.
  4. Anyone been to Emmaline?
  5. I was told that management believes that Ariza is on the verge of falling off the cliff and started showing signs this past season. He's 33 with a lot of wear on the tires - being a one and done player and having played over 100 career playoff games, which is the equivalent of an extra season plus.
  6. Really strange to lose Ariza on a one year deal to Phoenix. Wonder how much we offered given we had full Bird rights. It’s possible the difference could have been a few State Farm commercials or they decided to cut bait.
  7. Negatory, totally different joints.
  8. I assumed he meant Capela.
  9. Phx has more than MLE in cap space but they really need to use it for a PG.
  10. At the Taco Cabana drive thru last night, and the soccer mom in front of me proceeds to order $42 worth of Taco Cabana. Of course, by the time I got my order and left the line was wrapped around the building. Anything more than $20, take that shit inside.
  11. There are Michelin-starred restaurants that use induction over gas and everything else. Costco sells single induction burners for pretty cheap that you can play around with.
  12. No Lebron, which is fine, but now Morey wants to trade up for Grayson fucking Allen?
  13. Although a small chain, Gyu Kaku is also very good
  14. Same with Goo Goo Dolls. Just horrible.
  15. What place was it?
  16. Has anyone played Streamsong? Thoughts? Probably going next week.
  17. Negatory. Driving in from Boston on a Saturday. FML
  18. Nordstrom Rack has a shit ton, with varying length inseams.
  19. I'm a big fan of Goode Co. Taqueria, but if you haven't been also the Armadillo Palace across the street. Hugo's other restaurants - Xochi and Caracol - are outstanding. Two of the best in the city right now. If you're in Sugar Land, you're not far from Chinatown (or Asiatown). Lots of great places - Mein (Cantonese), House of Bowls (Hong Kong), Ohn (modern Korean with a good soju bar), Pho Binh (Vietnamese - various locations, one in Chinatown, one on 59 and Gessner).
  20. I’ve had good luck with Whole Foods as well. Most of the time it’s best to ask for a whole rack of beef short ribs. The whole chuck/plate distinction is what causes a bunch of confusion. Most retail grocery stores have racks of chuck short ribs. Plates are usually wholesale or at Restaurant Depot etc.
  21. So this isn’t the same wagyu steak I posted above. They also sell trimmings for a lot less - I got 3 good sized pieces of NY strip for $40. Here it is after the first flip. Didn’t get any other shots because it was quickly sliced and devoured after another flip or two. After that was a grass fed chuck eye that I also got from Crowd Cow:
  22. Any recs for where to eat and what to do for the Cape, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard? A friend bought an inn on the Cape, so we would be doing a day trips to Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard.
