I haven’t made this yet but I saw it on r/Food and thought, “Duh!” What a simple idea to make a jalapeño popper sandwich. Have you tried something similar? It’s kind of obvious. You could also easily work a fried egg into it or embellish it in other ways. But I think this is a nice pic and out of respect for OP Beth Pierce I’ll post her recipe. But just looking at the pic you can easily figure out how to DIY and maybe come at it from different directions to achieve the same result. But that looks awesome. Some more bacon wouldn’t hurt.

    The recipe:

    Ingredients

    •    2 Jalapenos sliced lengthwise seeds and membranes removed
    •    4 ounces cream cheese
    •    4 slices bacon crispy cooked
    •    2 slices monterey jack
    •    2 slices sharp cheddar
    •    4 slices Italian bread
    •    Cilantro chopped (optional)
    •    Pats of butter

    Instructions

    1.    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    2.    Stuff each jalapeno half with approximately 1 ounce of cream cheese. Bake stuffed jalapenos on a baking sheet for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven.
    3.    Place 1 slice each cheddar cheese on 2 bread slices. Place 1 slice each Monterey Jack on 2 bread slices.
    4.    Each sandwich will have both kinds of cheese. Slice the cooked stuffed jalapenos into bite-size pieces. Divide the jalapeno slices between the 2 slices of bread with cheddar.
    5.    Add the 4 slices of bacon to the slices of bread with the Monterey Jack.
    6.    If desired, add chopped cilantro to one side. Combine the slices of bread to form 2 sandwiches.
    7.    Top each sandwich with several pats of butter. Place in skillet over medium-low heat, butter side down.
    8.    Top with more pats of butter. Now grill each side until lightly browned. Cheese should be melted and gooey.

    Fucking amazing.

Neither. String cheese is tasteless filler. There are good and great cheeses out there. Why waste time and energy on gross stuff?

Man oh man you have not lived until you make Italian Meatballs with a cut pieces of Mozzarella cheese sticks in the center.

287k in 2016, but with a couple of caveats.  In that year, indies could vote either way, and dems had a real primary going.  If the majority of indies voted in the Republican primary this year, that skews the data in a big way.  If even 20% of Haley votes are in fact false positives that would trend the number down at least 25k.  There is a good chance that the 20% number I used is conservative.  If it's 40%, it's 50k of false positive, which would also mean a general under performance of about 10 to 15% comparatively.

Trump is extremely angry that Nikki won’t drop out.  Obviously her attacks are living in his head rent-free (up there with Hillary), but man, it’s crazy how angry he is.  Is he imagining she is hurting his campaign, or is he actually cognizant that as long as she remains in, a lot of Republicans will vote for her, keeping him from getting all the votes?

I think he is scared as shit of losing the SC primary to her which he probably will.

    More meltdown for sure.

Morrison is a low-bar for Bourdain. I don't think anyone still gives a fuck about Morrison who wasn't a teenage girl and wanted to fuck him when The Doors were in their heyday (or is a teenage girl that wants to fuck him now). Sure he was hugely influential for his time but his legacy isn't particularly lasting in the way that someone like Hendrix or SRV is.

Bourdain was a much more complex, controversial and interesting figure, and I think his legacy will wind up being both more lasting and important.

Than Morrison for sure but he is not in the same universe as Lennon in importance or more lasting.

Cause most every Papas restaurant we go to is packed as shit. I loves me some Papadeaux. It's expensive as shit but it's good food.

    This right here....

As far as I am concerned Pappadeaux is the best restaurant in this entire Austin area.

And no I have not been to all of those fancy new or semi new Austin restaurants that serve you an ounce of food and the plate looks pretty.
