  1. Interesting fact about that song Oh Darling..... John really thought he could sing it better than Paul and lobbied for it but Paul obviously ended up recording the vocals himself. Would love to have heard a version with John on lead vocals. It would have been awesome as well.
  2. That is a great question however I don't really judge them or try and say this bassist is better than that one. Same with guitar players or drummers. I just appreciate what they are doing and I really enjoy the creativity of it all.
  3. You cannot mention Cajun cooking without this guy.......
  4. Some of their tamales are also very good.
  5. I am a drummer and have been playing for over 55 years. So I am not a musician. However, I can easily pick out any instrument in a song and follow what is being played. I am partial to listening to bass lines in songs. Oh, and Paul McCartney played some of the greatest bass lines in history. I Saw Her Standing There Rain Nowhere Man Dear Prudence To name a few.
  6. Every time I saw a commercial for this shit show that dude was crying like a pussy. I will never understand how anyone with half of a brain could watch shows like these.... Reality shows that have a dozen or more writers.....that is really "reality".
  7. Probably but sparingly is my fear.
  8. Great post. I love Sark being our football coach. That culture video is one of the best things I have ever heard any coach say in my old ass life.
  9. You know I enjoy some flavored chips like sea salt and black pepper potato chips and some others but........when I am eating a sandwich that my wife made for me I prefer one off these two.
  10. WTF ? Fried okra is great, especially with some fried chicken or chicken fried steak but,......great fries go with burgers.
  11. You do have to admit that throwing an undefeated party before the season starts is a good idea.
  12. I will tell you I worked for the Austin band Extreme Heat back in the 80's and we opened for them at the Erwin Center. Great show and The Heat blew the doors off of that place. They still play around town occasionally and I highly recommend them.
