  1. There was probably a NIL number that made sense for Blue to come back but not sure if that number would have worked for us. On one hand he's only going to have this speed for a limited number of years (and it could all be taken away with one injury) so if you can stay on an NFL roster as a RB, better to start that clock now. On the other hand, unless he improves fumbling, pass pro and running through contact he could be off a roster soon. Best of luck to him. Hope it works out. Definitely has the potential to be a solid pro.
  2. He had a terrible game against OSU but wasn't healthy. He played fantastic at times this past year though. If he actually comes back will have extremely high expectations for him next season.
  3. JFC. This board is going to lose their minds when Arch inevitably throws 3 picks in a game next year. Anything less than a heisman is going to be unacceptable the way you all have built Arch up in your minds.
  4. There are a lot of absolute fucking morons that post on this board and he's at the top. This thread and the Quinn thread is like a magnet to the biggest dumbasses and pure shit fans.
  5. I would add the holding no-call (that could have been called on 3 different OL) on 3rd and 15.
  6. My dumbass friend apparently sucks at reading comprehension and missed when the other friend told him to buy for them. It's $100 at door (100 total available). Is that right? Idiots.
  7. Has definitely been one of the weirder ticket markets I've ever seen with the snowmageddon headfake.
  8. At this point I'm pretty confident drive to game won't be an issue for anyone as it isn't expected to get that cold overnight. But tomorrow night is a different story as temps back in low to mid 20's for whatever is left. Hopefully not much more precipitation tonight and it clears over the course of the day.
  9. When are you cutting off sales? Herding cattle but about to buy 4 or 5 I think.
  10. Starting to look better for tomorrow. Temp holding strong above freezing so has just been rain since early afternoon. Also looks like precip may clear out earlier than anticipated.
  11. Roads are going to be shit in Dallas early tomorrow. It won't all just magically disappear when precipitation stops. Seems like latest guesses are bullish for decent amount of snow in metroplex overnight. If I were coming from Austin I wouldn't plan on arriving in metroplex before noon at earliest.
  12. Still plenty of space left? Still trying to figure out plans but will try to steer some folks this way tomorrow.
  13. Definitely would not do it today at this point. Tomorrow later is going to be better but of course every person traveling tomorrow is going to realize that so traffic is going to suck.
  14. Just checked and 2 flights from Columbus have been cancelled and 2 delayed. Flights from Cincy/Pitt cancelled and several from Detroit and Cleveland cancelled. That's a shame.
  15. Pretty crazy how at my house it keeps fluctuating between snow, sleet and rain. I'm guessing all dictated by whatever 1-2 degrees fluctuation in temp at any given time. We were all snow most of the AM, then sleet and rain for a bit late morning. We just had about 30 minutes of snow and now shifting back to sleet/rain. Looking out the windows probably getting to the point where I would have no desire to drive on roads in our neighborhood.
  16. Pretty interesting. Obvious it's all about where the freezing line is setting up which is crossed through the metroplex. We are north of it and still getting all snow. Still warm enough that it's melting on roads right now but would assume further north you go overpasses are getting pretty damn slick. Also nice that it's not so damn cold like the 2021 event with snow and kids can play outside longer.
  17. I think temp maybe 1-2 degrees cooler than expected resulting in snow here. Kids are excited. Regardless, think it's pretty safe to say would not be a good idea to leave early from Austin tomorrow. Roads will be nasty most of Friday AM
  18. Big ass snowflakes in North Dallas right now. Main event supposed to come tonight.
  19. Hopefully all the flights from Columbus/Cincy/Pitt, etc. getting cancelled. That shit fanbase deserves it.
  20. What a game last night. MSG lives up to the hype. Fantastic venue. 10/10 experience. Now on a flight back to Dallas to get ready to beat the Buckeyes.
  21. Nerds on a weather forum all bitching about how some new models showing it could be a "bust" so hopefully we wake up to good news and it starts trending to boring snow day Thurs.
  22. I mean Jerry World is a 30+ minute drive from Dallas proper. If ends up being a situation where it dips back to freezing by 7PM, that's going to be a fucked up drive back to Dallas (through neighborhoods etc.). They can't treat every damn road in the metroplex sufficiently. It's a cluster F at night and early in the morning every time this happens.
  23. Of course other risk is what the fuck happens if it all freezes back up during the way. Because of course it's being played one of the only major venues in the country with absolutely zero public transportation options. Fuck you Jerry.
  24. If the actual forecast is the extreme scenario by Weds it wouldn't shock me at all if they did that. A foot of snow would be all timer in DFW (that was record in 2010 as mentioned above). But every model is not showing that (just the ones getting posted all over social media). Probably a better idea by tomorrow afternoon and certainly by Wednesday just how bad it will be.
  25. In NYC for game tomorrow going with clients that are Rangers fans. First trip to MSG. Should be fun.
