  1. It's clear to me that if BO&W (a self proclaimed 'non-pussy') was the HC, OC and QB we would never lose again.
  2. Do you need every single poster on this site to tell you that you're a dumbass and should post less? Or will you just keep on constantly and rapidly posting nonsense regardless.
  3. I think we all have an image of who you are in real life based on your post history and that pretty much fits it.
  4. You are a douchebag shitty obsessive fan that constantly talks shit but would cream yourself and beg for their autograph if you ever encountered any these athletes you call "pussys"
  5. Nice cherry pick. Douchebags like you are the reason Simms never came back to Texas.
  6. TD drives were plays of 9, 5 and 4. The 9 play drive was 75 yards.
  7. I think he played just OK vs. OU, poorly vs. UGA and "good" (not to his standard) against Vandy. I think pass pro, penalties, and run blocking are bigger issues than QB play (in that order) when it comes to fixing the offense. I don't think it matters who is playing QB if that isn't cleaned up. Good QB play could beat every team left on our schedule if we protect like we did against Michigan and clean up penalties
  8. Yep, it's hard to run the ball consistently when you are frequently behind the chains b/c of pre-snap penalties and/or holding calls.
  9. LOL. There is not a single poster on this thread claiming "there is nothing wrong with how Quinn has been playing". JFC
  10. You expect a QB to anticipate nobody getting a hand on a blitzing LB allowing him free elevation? That's a QB problem? JFC. Post less.
  11. Same OL kept 2 first round draft picks completely in check @ Michigan. I still think they can be the top tier OL we expected to see. The pre-snap penalties are just a complete lack of focus and have been a problem all year. The regression the last 3 weeks across the board has just been odd. At least OU and UGA have really good to elite front 7's. There really isn't any excuse for all the mistakes these guys made yesterday. Bye week couldn't come at a better time.
  12. It's quintessential Surly football board. No nuance allowed. Offense played bad and we have a 5 star backup QB so that = QB sucks and is a pussy. Reading this thread a good reminder not to waste time posting here.
  13. I tend to agree. But Oregon looked pretty pedestrian first 2 weeks of the season as did UGA back to back against Kentucky and Bama. There have been about 5 or 6 teams look like the best team at a point in time and each has had a week or 2 where they kind of stunk it up. Going to make for a great playoff.
  14. And Oregon wasn't playing consistent football at all to start the year. There really isn't a dominant team this year. It's all about who can survive and make the tournament and then play your best ball at the right time.
  15. Yes, but you have to give Elko credit to going to Marcel there to capitalize off that momentum. That was 100% the right read. Keep immobile CW in, take another sack, and kick a FG and LSU almost certainly doesn't implode the way they did.
  16. It's not that "none of this is QE's fault". He's not playing anything like the 3 year starter/heisman front runner we expected him to be. But when it comes to problems with current state of our offense, QB play yesterday was a distant 3rd behind OL and RB which have been flat out terrible in back to back games. The first pick is 100% on Jake Major's inability to even touch the LB giving him free elevation to tip that throw. Anyone still bitching about that really needs to watch the fucking play. It was obvious live. QE made the right read and it's an easy 15 yard completion if Jake does absolutely anything at all. Our OL is constantly blowing protection, allowing pressure, making presnap penalties and getting called for holding (most somewhat legit). And we don't have a single RB that can pass protect worth a shit and they all go down too easy with contact. Our RB room is bad luck as CJ Baxter fixes both of those issues and allows Blue/Wisner to excel as change of pace. Our OL has absolutely no excuse and I hope Flood rips ass all bye week. As it relates to Quinn - he's letting the breakdowns around him get in his head at times instead of fighting/leading through it. He absolutely left some plays on the field. He missed a wide open Golden across the middle on a crucial 3rd and short when he took a sack (and didn't even look at him even though it was the easy pres nap read) But all in - I don't think his performance is NEAR as bad as all the simple thinking football morons on this board are up in arms about.
  17. We need to start a Surly NIL for a fucking punter. Cost us points again.
  18. BOOOOOOM! Everyone that motherfucked Quinn for 3 pages over a protection issue tip should immediately go fucking neg yourself!
  19. Put one fuckin hand on his chest and he can't elevate. It was a total whiff by Jake. But yes Surlyhorns Football Board Morons - Quinn Sucks. Bench him immediately!
  20. I'm SHOCKED this board is motherfucking Quinn and wanting to sit him because Jake Fucking Majors can't get a body/hands on someone right in front of him allowing a free jump at the pass. JFC.
  21. Long time coming in that building. Great performance across the board tonight.
  22. VY never had an elite deep ball if that is who you are thinking of in my view. He was behind those listed.
  23. Missed this yesterday but will stand by it as catching up on Von Lane into town. Major had a nice deep ball (not enough arm talent). Simms had a nice, accurate deep ball but not enough touch. Colt's was great, Buechele's was great. Ewers deep ball is behind all of these (though elite short and intermediate). I think Arch's deep ball has best combo of arm talent, touch and accuracy of all though based on early returns. Tell me where I'm wrong.
  24. What's crazy (after the last 15 years and particularly with what Georgia has been) is if both teams played their best game I think Texas wins. It's close but I like the Texas roster better top to bottom.
  25. Still WTF. Explain your comment. When has Sark had a "blind spot" as it relates to QB management? 2021 when he had to choose between 2 shitty QB's with a shitty OL to boot? 2022 when there is a need to get your future multi-year starter QB experience in a year you aren't competing for a national championship (and your backup is the shitty QB that couldn't win the job the year before)? 2023 OU game first quarter when your backup was MM?? If you want to talk about Sark getting aggressive on 4th down or not taking points, that is fair criticism, but I'm struggling to understand where he has a "blind spot" regarding QB management. I mean if you want to say 2022 OSU or TCU games I guess there is an argument to made although I have zero faith Card could have performed better and I think any coach would tell you that you have to let your young QB's work through tough games. You can't just pull a QB first sign of adversity.
