  1. Even if that were the case, at least they aren't actively targeting and shooting women and children for sport like the terrorists they are fighting. You guys can "both sides" this all you want but I have absolutely zero fucking problem with their response to date given what occurred.
  2. Give me a break. You probably believe the hospital hoax as well. If they didn't care about civilians, Israel would turn the entire strip into rubble. But when terrorists strategically place rocket launchers next to preschools, collateral damage happens.
  3. Huh? You mean like the one that just led to the death of a high ranking Hamas POS? Looks to me like they are targeting terrorists.
  4. It's all going to be pretty interesting to see how the market shakes out over the next couple of cycles. I have a friend on the staff of another top 10 NIL program. He told me they basically shot their load last year due to a unique circumstance with a single booster and they are desperate for more to help out. Preaching to the choir on this board but Texas really has an opportunity to build a solid foundation and lead the pack if more people would step up. How many monthly donors are we at for football now? I bet it's still an embarrassingly low number.
  5. There was a good athletic article discussing how rampant "legal" sign stealing is including an interview with an anonymous sign stealer at another program. Essentially that if you put in the work and teams don't consistently switch it up, your signs will get stolen (while also acknowledging what Michigan did would make his job infinitely easier and was crossing the line). He also said when they think someone has their signs they move to wristbands with play calls which negates the advantage. Takes me back to that TCU game last year. Doesn't it seem like they had our signs? They shut our offense down to a level nobody else came close to. I always assumed Jared Wiley likely helped them and reading that article reminded me of that game. Of course, it that did happen, it's really on Sark for not being prepared for it.
  6. I had dinner with a client from NY this week that is orthodox and bought illegal bear mase to carry around in NY because of all the shit they are dealing with. So like I said, Fuck those "protestors". Anyone that crosses any line should be arrested for a hate crime.
  7. If anyone wants our seats tonight (123 row J) without paying fees will take $170 for the pair. Currently listed getting that after deducting fees on TM. Just send me a PM.
  8. Targeting Jewish students in a fucking library to "protest". Fuck that. And fuck them.
  9. Yeah, now that I read the article, getting access to computer drives had to stem from that. But I don't know enough about that investigation to know who would have engaged a third party law firm if not the NCAA.
  10. Nah - this screams Ohio State to me. And I despise Ohio State and always root for Michigan in that rivalry. But if Ohio St and/or boosters spearheaded this I am absolutely here for it.
  11. But I'll add my suspicion regarding the lack of sophistication among coaches generally makes me think there is a paper trail if on this if they are able to look in the like places. I see sophisticated clients and law firm partners put stupid shit in emails all the time. Can only imagine the text conversations college coaches have if those could get turned over.
  12. Yeah, I think very little sophistication across the board. Although I did hear that Mack Brown once confiscated the cell phone of every staff member to try to find a press leak that pissed him off or at least scare them into not leaking. Which did not shock me in the least when I heard that.
  13. 18-22 year olds fuck up plays every damn week. I can't imagine what it would look like attempting to flip your entire system the week of.
  14. Fuck Bob. Zero chance they didn't try some shit from time to time while he was at OU. I know Mack used to practice in the bubble OU week convinced those fuckers would have someone somewhere watching if outside.
  15. I tend to agree with this. I don't think Harbaugh survives this in any event and is probably coaching in the NFL next year. But there is still a big difference between failure to monitor and direct involvement in the scheme. I mean look, I think we can all say at an absolute minimum the entire staff knew this guy was up to something because there is no way you can be that good at stealing signals based on TV broadcasts. But if there is documentation that takes it to the next level (i.e., direct Michigan reimbursement of these expenses or direct coaching staff involvement implementing the scheme) that is what will take this to a different level. Michigan will probably be forced to turn over reimbursement records and text message data. That is where things will get interesting.
  16. Stealing signs in general isn't an issue. So no. Stealing signs by scouting in person is the issue.
  17. Having the other teams signals isn't cheating. Obtaining those signals via in person scouting is. I'm going to be surprised if there is any documentation linking Harbaugh directly. The old "don't ask don't tell" scheme. How bad this end once all the evidence is in is going to come down to (i) how this was financed (i.e., was this reimbursed directly or indirectly via UM or superiors on the staff with a paper trail and (ii) whether this Super Michigan fan flips on his superiors that were in the loop or if he takes all the blame to save the program. If he's a super fan I wouldn't count on him naming names so it may come down to how well they covered financing this scheme.
  18. We were at a bar in uptown with a big group, all of us young and pre-kids. Someone ordered victory shots for the table that literally showed up when it got to 2 strikes on the Nelson Cruz misplay. It's forever referenced among anyone at that table anytime someone attempts to celebrate too early. Just sickening. And that was obviously the worst but walking out of Globe LIfe last Friday after the Altuve HR was a clear 2nd for most baseball sports sick I've ever been. Still can't believe those guys were able to shake that off and win 2 more. Because like others have said, I don't think that '11 team had a chance in game 7 after the night before.
  19. This. Absolutely nothing in this series would surprise. Beginning post ASB I've never seen anything like the highs and lows in a compressed period. The way the ALCS played out was a perfect encapsulation of it. I've been saying this team has been playing with house money since the start of the postseason considering how we ended the regular season so hoping we can just ride it out to a title.
  20. I was at client dinners out of town both games. All I got to see live was the bottom of the 9th but have seen all the highlights. Just amazing. After walking out of Globe Life dejected Friday night what a crazy turn of events. Baseball man.
  21. How many years have you watched college football? Serious question. Do you not appreciate that it's rare for any inexperienced QB to just step in any play well? Nobody is knocking MM. They are explaining reality. Sark's gameplan is not going to be to throw it 40+ times with a first time starter.
  22. It's probably the fact that he's had like 3 career pass attempts. I mean QE is still a work in progress and he has like 15 games played now. Potential is great and all but experience matters at QB in CFB.
  23. Was stuck at a client dinner last night and could barely keep up with game. Luckily for you all it's the same tonight. Hopefully the same outcome.
  24. He was not good yesterday after the first quarter. There isn't any other way to spin it. I'm not sure if Houston started doing something on defense he wasn't expecting or what but he absolutely could not process or progress through reads and just checked down over and over. Like someone said yesterday, if Sark doesn't scheme a WR open that he recognizes pre-snap he doesn't process well. I don't have any idea how that is going to translate to NFL QB and I'm betting scouts see games like yesterday and second guess his multi-million dollar arm. Everyone was bitching about Sark "stalling" with the offense but we have better players that should win every matchup at TE/WR and Quinn just turtled. I know he was injured at that point, but the goal line series where he threw the ball away twice with numerous open receivers was just bad. On the 3rd down, he could have actually just checked down and Brooks walks in.
  25. In a season of Big 12 not calling holding against our opponents time and time again, I think yesterday may have been the most egregious. I can think of 5-6 blatant off the top of my head. I said it in the game thread but at this point it flat out has to be part of an offensive scheme. When our opponents watch this shitshow on film and see that UH wasn't called for a single fucking hold, they are flat out going to coach their guys to do whatever it fucking takes to not let your guy get to the QB. It's an absolute joke.
