  1. I'd be fine with his minutes getting cut and removing him from the rotation now that we're in conference. He's not a must play every night by any means. He should only play out of necessity (foul trouble and/or injury) from here on out!
  2. So WVU is without their "best" player today supposedly. Question: If a headline read that Texas was without their best player, who would that player actually be?
  3. Tells me whatever source put that report out is probably full of Sh!t and had no clue what they were talking about in regards to the Rockets specifically
  4. Erased a 19 point deficit on the road...grittiest win of the season. EG, DJ, Sengun and a Nwaba siting coming thru down the stretch!
  5. While I agree they're stale and boring, I'm not so sure that isn't exactly who they want to be! And honestly i don't tend to follow them just for the reasons you just laid out here...so where would you say their roster's deficient? They seem to be middle to upper middle of the pack in many team statistical categories. Just a middle of road kind of squad - sans rebounding. They're amongst the best in the league on the glass!
  6. Does this impact the Murphy kid's commitment?
  7. Indiana's getting swindled if they make either of those moves. GS would be set-up to have another 4/5 year like they had from 2016-19!
  8. Arizona remains unbeaten. Just a horrible 5 sec violation by the Illini PG with under seconds down only 3!
  9. May get blown out by 20 in the 2nd half. But youngsters playing well...up 7 [65-58] on da champs at the half! Garry Bird with 18 already
  10. Eh...Luka is far from a lock down defender himself. He has the ability to be a good defender, but his effort defensively is kinda reminiscent of Harden's!

  12. Giving themselves a chance to beat the KD-less Nets!!! They were favored tonight, so you know Vegas knew something was up
  13. In the 2nd Half you could see that Tech just sagged into the paint and allowed Tenn to brick away - at least until they made the one at the end to send the game to OT. In OT they started to come out a bit more. Tech on the other hand had Tenn up on them pretty much from jump. But as they say, styles make fights - seems like both teams probably look to create their offense by way of their defense. Unfortunately for them they were both looking into the mirror at themselves and those opportunities were few and far between. Think we learned that neither has a post option they can throw the ball into for a good look or many if any pure shooters offensively!
  14. 9-46, but had some good looks down the stretch.
  15. It's like Tenn still hasnt realized there's a reason their 3s seem so wide open!!!!
  16. Offensively...NOT AT ALL!!!
  17. Agree with a lot of this. Except the moving of Porter. He was starting to demonstrate a lot of maturity before this recent injury. Not ready to to give up on him just yet. And good to luck silas and staff working the psyche of a 19 yr old picked #2 overall and convincing them its in their best interest to come off the bench. Not saying its a bad or wrong move ultimately, but that's a tough sales job there! And yeah, no one's gonna argue with moving EG. It's just easier said than done though...it'd take a Morey-level fleece job.
  18. Either the FO is evaluating him based on criteria other than wins/losses and he wasn't meeting whatever those expectations were (lord only knows what that might be) or those reports were some bogus BS reporting!
  19. So does the 6-game win streak get followed-up with a 6-game loser? Or has the team made real improvements thatll translate against better competition? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Sengun = One Highlight play at least per game!
  21. Surprisingly numbers don't really suggest that:
  22. Yeah kinda nasty there
  23. Young guys are starting to find their footing and gaining confidence now that they've found some consistent shooting/spacing. Last night no Green or Wood/KPJ for most of the game, focused in defensively (really went to a zone to keep SGA & co. out the paint) and gutted out a 15 pt come from behind W! It was a pleasant surprise to see them compete on that level. Tate was a man-child as well! FO, better send down orders to Silas to keep Matthews and Brooks out of rotation if they want to keep losing games imo...they've been key to the improved play.
