  1. Wall played in the Rockets last 27 games last season. Team record was 3-24! Yeah him playing isn't going to effect the team's overall record much if at all. Play him here and there sparingly, especially when you have a top end rotation perimeter player out for a few games like you have now. But wouldn't commit to anything permanent from a role or playing time standpoint. Seeing him out there could end up benefitting both the player and the organization, if there's any chance there's a team/gm out there giving a trade even a smidge of consideration...as long as he doesn't end up injuring himself and then you're F'd!!!
  2. Shooting % especially 3pt % has gone up as well as TOs going down the last couple games. Directly correlates with increased mins for both Matthews and Brooks. Gotta have shooters to compete nightly these days. Looks like a couple have finally made the rotation and its made a significant difference. Neither seem to be complete liabilities defensively either...or at least from the sample size seen.
  3. Damn that was an entertaining game. Tough loss. But gotta like the way they fought throughout that one. Best performance of the year by Green. Couple big shots at the end! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I'm guessing Sark has intentionally avoided featuring QB called runs for this week. I can see that being the biggest difference in play calling heading into this one...let them load up and focus on Bijon and use Casey's legs to test their ability to adjust in-game!
  5. Absolutely. He made it clear this week that he was pissed having to discuss the lil situation after their SMU game cause it was “TEXAS” week. No other program rents mental space in opposition like this one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Like the decision(maybe not the call. Everyone and their mama knew Bijon was getting it. Naked boot with his wheels, Casey walks in) for all the reasons he gave. Plus to me it was about staying aggressive. Its a mindset and a mentality. Sends a lil message to ur sideline and future opponents too. Dont celebrate on 3rd cause we coming at ur ass all 4 downs if need be! Now if the fg takes it from a 2 to 3 score game in that spot, yeah throw all that out the window and take the dam pts! 7. TCU with only 2 home games VS Cal & SMU will soon probably be ranked and stay ranked prior to our matchup Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Green 25 pts on 11 shots!!! [emoji102] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Yeah, but don't like just dumping it into Sims and expecting him to make a move with his back to the basket. Rather see them getting it off of drive and duck-ins around the basket.
  11. Deciding to screen the top of the zone with the Bigs has been a great strategic decision today. Has really opened up those driving and cutting opportunities.
  12. Let's get this ship baby! Big 2nd half right here. Keep the tourney games win streak going, heading into the Big Dance! TEXAS!!!!!
  13. This 1000%!!!! It's a guarantee at least one of my brackets will have this as an outcome...I mean who doesn't want to claim they picked their squad if they happen to make the run, right???
  14. Missing Ramey's penetration & kicks offensively. Offense lacks flow. May just need someone to get red hot tonight!!!
  15. Yeah not to mention both were also winless heading into those games. No excuses...but gotta get a win when “hopefully” theyre back at full strength Thursday Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Shot selection and TOs are just something you have to live with when ur such a perimeter guard oriented team like this one. Our bigs are more slashers/finishers than they are post players. I’d like to see more perimeter shots come off dribble/drive/kick but but it’s unrealistic to not expect a couple ill advised impatient possessions when guards have the ball in their hands as much as ours do, imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Big win! Schedule doesn’t lighten up though. Have Nova & Baylor coming up in 2 of our next 3 games Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Haven’t had a chance to watch much of UNC yet. What are their strengths? Are they gonna try to beat us up inside? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Yeah my site has Texas +1 now, but looks like it opened with Texas -1 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Not sure what they're supposed to be this year, but after watching IU dismantle Prov I expected IU to be a bigger favorite today honestly
  21. After watching the first 2 games I will say that defensively the athleticism this team brings will give anyone they face trouble as long as they stay disciplined. With their range there's no reason to over help or trail cutters. If they keep everything in front of them and make folks have to play over the top, they're going to be a handful cause they should be monsters on the defensive glass with all the length they have there. The guards controlling dribble penetration is paramount as that will keep those bigs out of foul trouble and on the court for that rim protection. But that goes for Kai, GB3 & Sims as well. When they get out on the perimeter there's no reason for them to be overly aggressive, just let those littles try to shoot over you and if they try to drive use that length and athleticism to stem their penetration. No reason their feet should ever get outside the arc imo. Offense is stll basic as we still don't run any semblance of a set. Just pick & rolls with a few dribble handoffs mixed in. I'd like to see them set a rule that the majority of 3s should come off catch and shoot opportunities. There's almost no reason for them to dribble into a 3. And if they drive with the intent on looking for cutting bigs, that in essence should be the focus of our offense. Catch it on the perimeter and if they close out too hard use that quickness to get into the paint. But not to force a finish, but rather force the D to collapse and hit one of those uber athletic bigs with rim cuts. Cause those guys CAN FINISH and score OVER just about anyone (bare in mind they will get fouled so hopefully they improve there. Sims FT stroke looks a lot better). But i'll be honest with you, throwing the ball to Sims or Kai in spots where they have to create shots for themselves other than a 1 dribble finish is a liability imo. They are not throw it into the post and let them work kind of bigs. They're more finishers to me. Granted i din't include GB in that as i've yet to see him get it in the post and try to work to get a shot. I did see him cut off a screen into the lane and get a beautiful AND-1. That kind of cutting action is gonna be deadly with him. Looking forward to see this team develop. As many have mentioned, there's talent size and athleticism galore. Excited to see where it all ends up!
  22. ESPN has it as a 12:30pm CST tip as well. I'm with you. I'm working from home, so don't mind the early tip either.
  23. Post D especially!
