  1. Well giving it some thought and since I know absolutely nothing on this I am going to take a shot at a possible happening. UT, OU - SEC obviously I St, KU, KSU, OSU - Big 10 seems like a good fit for these schools. Tech, UH - PAC 12 Yep UH, grab a share of both the Dallas and Houston TV markets. WVU - ACC or Big 10 but most likely ACC. baylor, tcu - nobody cares, but C USA is where I think they go. Big 12 is dead man walking.
  2. I can't keep up with the speed of this stuff. Did the SEC give aggy a time out?
  3. Imagine what happened after the game behind closed doors. They ended up losing that one.
  4. Me reading this thread this morning.
  5. Just more proof that baylor will stoop to any low. Fuck them.
  6. No kidding. Big 8, Then Big 12, then Pac 12, now I want the next new shiny thing.
  7. If this deal goes through or not, it is going to be bad. Especially for those who don't get a seat at a big conference table.
  8. After the hammer falls and the SEC deal is done for Texas and ou I predict a tectonic shift in conferences that none of us can predict. There is more at play than what we are seeing.
  9. I am sure it is just political grandstanding. There are far more important things that need to be addressed than this inevitable change.
  10. Possibly. Another poster said somewhere else that Tech was expecting a PAC invite today. I was assuming that if Tech and OSU and anyone else, not baylor, went ahead and announced their departure it would allow Texas and ou to leave without any financial penalty, or having to wait until 2025.
  11. Do you think the new conference mates will be open to calling this new merger Texas and its 15 bitches?
  12. If Tech is involved in that, one can assume their interview with the PAC did not go as planned. Time to panic.
  13. Why Sir!! Whatever do you mean?! https://www.mysanantonio.com/news/local/article/Texas-Tech-University-students-botch-basic-6807050.php
  14. Shit I thought they were talking SEC Hockey with him sporting that flow.
  15. I may be wrong but I don't think any of it ever came to pass.
  16. Baylor letting everyone know that they know they are fucked. Dear Baylor Family:As many of you are aware, news broke this week of an alleged change in the Big 12 Conference membership, linking the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma with a possible move to the Southeastern Conference.Since that time, we have heard many of you express concerns about the uncertainty of our conference and the potential impact on Baylor University a concern we share with you.We understand the significance and urgency of this matter, as our conference membership impacts not only Baylor, but also the Waco community, the state of Texas and beyond. Conference affiliation has the power to greatly enhance our institution's academic and athletic national standing and visibility while also expanding academic and research opportunities available to faculty, students and our communities. For our state, it is critical to our economy and Texas' overall reputation to maintain five "Power Five" institutions, reinforcing the Lone Star State's athletic preeminence.Rest assured, we, along with the Board of Regents, members of the Baylor delegation in the Texas Legislature and other Baylor leaders, are actively engaged in conversations with our Big 12 colleagues and others to ensure our University is in the strongest position possible now and into the future. In the midst of what promises to be a lot of angst and speculation, we will continue to focus on what we can control and support our student-athletes and staffs. And, as the landscape of college athletics continues to change, we maintain an unshakable belief in the strength and resiliency of Baylor and the Baylor brand.Thank you for your enduring love of Baylor University and the vital role you play in helping Baylor carry out its Christian mission while competing academically and athletically at the highest levels.Sincerely,livingstone-signatureLinda A.
