  1. While funny, you know, those frozen embryos are dependent on you and your spouse for their "survival". Those cryo places don't store them for free.
  2. 86 degrees tomorrow, Feb 22nd? anyone have a link to the ‘blast furnace 24’ thread?
  3. OK, i am going to probably come off as a penny pinching rube here, but I have been a season ticket holder for 20 years and have never made a donation - just payed the base price on the invoice. Been in the same 4 seats for about 10 years and happy. Section 102 between rows 18-40, so in Tier 3. is that somehow different this year? Now to get my same seats, i need to pay $385 and $150 per seat to keep my seat location? If i dont pay the additional $150, i get pushed to Tier 4? i find the whole seat donation thing intentionally vague.
  4. Out on tour with The Smashing Pumpkins Nature kids, I, they don't have no function I don't understand what they mean And I could really give a fuck The Stone Temple Pilots, they're elegant bachelors They're foxy to me, are they foxy to you? I will agree they deserve absolutely nothing Nothing more than me
  5. https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/20/politics/alexander-smirnov-hunter-biden/index.html Hunter Biden says special counsel used Alexander Smirnov’s discredited bribery claims to derail his plea deal Surly attorneys? Does Hunter have a point? Neither the gun charge or the tax evasion appear to be related to anything Smirnov was alleging. Is Biden's legal team saying the prosecution stance on terms of the immunity in the plea deal was clouded by the false allegations of Smirnov? How could one prove that? Admittedly, i dont know all the ins and outs.
  6. i hadnt heard that angle before last night, so that was pretty great. but overall, the episode wasn't as funny as last Monday.
  7. haha.. yep..... and then they concluded somehow every researcher in the complex had a turn stabbing Annie, so they left them all to die in the cold. Which is probably the most insulting part.... Danvers and Navarro were obsessed with getting justice for Annie, but justice for 6 dead researchers? You know, whateves.
  8. i didn't know they could stack shit that high!
  9. don't half quote! "She says soul brother too beaucoup, too beaucoup"
  10. Bayern Munich's reign of terror in jeopardy? The curse of Harry Kane? (yes, i know he is have a great season) Bayer Leverkusen unbeaten in league play so far.

  12. how did Yo La Tengo sell out 2 nights at the Mohawk? I totally procrastinated on this one. Not paying $250 a tix on the third party market!

  14. you cant tell me President Comacho wouldn't be all over these!
  15. so of course she would be interested in Larry.
  16. i love how lay people can go into a scientific lab & discover a nefarious plot amongst the highly technical and voluminous documents present in just a matter of minutes. or did i miss where they had "The mine and our research facility is polluting Ennis" written on a whiteboard in the bunker?
  17. feel like he has been living on borrowed time, considering the state of his health in the 80s. Love the Beach Boys listening to the isolated vocals of songs from Pet Sounds on YouTube is a revelation.
  18. table update. Leeds dropped points today, but still likely impossible to catch the race for 2nd place is tight! 5 clubs within 4 points of 6th place. Coventry and Sunderland flip flop between the 6th and 10th places - in one week.
  19. West Brom 0 - 2 Southampton back on track we have a deep Championship squad, which should be an advantage during this busy fixture run. Ryan Fraser and David Brooks have been brilliant loans (thanks Bournemouth) Defense was stout.
  20. Galileo had better odds. .
  21. to me the perfect song is one that you could swear had been written before; as if the melody has always been part of our DNA whether we realize it or not. Two came to mind.
  22. It's pretty relatable - When time is tight and you don't have the luxury of screwing around, there is inevitably one guy who calls an audible, thinking he's got a great idea.
  23. 1) Don't think much of Huey Lewis as a musician, but he comes off as a good dude. 2) That Geldof pep talk really sobered up the room (Al Jarreau not withstanding) 3) Was kind of sad when Sheila E was talking about her realization that her being there was just as pawn/lure to get Prince to show up.
